The man behind the counter is friendly. The donuts and cronuts were okay. A bit on the tough side. They can microwave them for you. These are probably leftover pastries. The ambiance is very casual and on the tight side. Probably just come here if you need something in a pinch.

This is my donut stop on Brisbane. Great regular donuts (sorry snobs, no $12 loganberry/salmon belly abominations) and they just added boba tea! My strawberry boba is amazing! Love the owner, and her family are great!

On my first day of work, I found myself in Brisbane early and wandered over to Christy's Donuts. The first thing I noticed was the popularity of this place, everybody loves their donuts and coffee on their way to work in this cute little town. People are friendly, say hello and know each other. So different from the hustle downtown, the long lines for coffee, breakfast always on the go and the Starbucks on every corner. Although donuts are not on my diet, every now and then I'll order an Old Fashioned with my large coffee. The coffee is non-fancy, cup of joe and it's good. I've had the breakfast sandwiches and bagels here. It's a nice little spot to stop off if I have time in the morning.

Molded apple fritters! Lady was behind counter sleep. Child grabbed donuts and rang me up.

    Getting the donut holes!

You want something that's fresh, not fried...quick, but never rushed...and somewhere within the broad definition of a "healthy eating plan." Where do you go? Top of the Hill Cafe in wonderfully foggy Daly City. On this particular evening, I decided on the Combination Bánh Mì, which, after careful scientific evaluation, contains all the essential food groups... Meat, vegetables, grains, and a little pâté for good measure. And of course...A Diet Coke to keep the calories in check....It's called balance. I found a quiet table, expecting this to be a simple "eat-and-go" meal. Instead, it turned into one of those sandwiches that quietly reminds you how extraordinary simple food can be when every ingredient is thoughtfully prepared. Let's start with the baguette. A beautifully golden crust with just the right amount of crunch, giving way to a soft, airy interior that was light enough to absorb every flavor without falling apart. Every bite delivered that satisfying contrast between crisp and pillowy that defines a great bánh mì. Then came the fillings...Silky pâté...Tender marinated grilled pork...Savory Vietnamese cold cuts. Each one bringing its own texture and depth while working together in perfect harmony. The pickled daikon and carrots were outstanding. Bright, crisp, pleasantly vinegary, with just enough sweetness to cut through the richness of the meats without overwhelming them. And then came my favorite part...a generous handful of cilantro, mint, and basil. Those fresh herbs didn't simply garnish the sandwich...they lifted it. Every bite became brighter, more aromatic, and wonderfully balanced. It was like someone turned up the volume on every flavor. Even the Diet Coke somehow felt like the perfect supporting actor, adding that crisp, refreshing finish between bites and bringing the whole meal together like a surprisingly well-rehearsed culinary orchestra. By the time I finished, I realized something. I had completely forgotten that this was supposed to be a quick bite before heading home. Instead, I found myself sitting there just a little longer, enjoying the last sip of my drink and appreciating how something as humble as a bánh mì could be so thoughtfully executed. Sometimes the simplest meals leave the biggest impression. Overall: 4.5 stars. Top of the Hill Cafe serves a beautifully balanced bánh mì with fresh ingredients, exceptional bread, vibrant herbs, and perfectly prepared pickled vegetables. It's proof that great sandwiches don't need unnecessary extravagance. Just quality ingredients and the care to let each one shine. Come hungry...and Go Big!!!

I went on their site the day of, placed an order for pick-up with a 30 minute lead time (which was the soonest available slot), drove there and picked up my dozen. The order and pick-up process could not have been easier. The pick-up location is tucked away on a small street where the parking lot is like an office plaza, with several buildings in it. It looked like a back entrance but you'll see the ramp that leads to the pick-up window. There was no line so I went up, paid, and picked up my donuts all within a couple of minutes. The donuts were a hit with the family! Slightly less sweet compared to Mochinut. A little doughier but the chewy texture is still there. I got the dozen so we could try all the flavors which included: chocolate, matcha, ube coconut, cookie butter with oreo, peaches n' cream, and apple spice caramel. My favorites are peaches n' cream and apple spice caramel with matcha close behind. You can't go wrong with any of them, probably boils down to your taste preferences. I'm definitely returning if they have new flavors or whenever I'm in a mochi donut mood.

Cute spot, worth a visit!…read more This is a nice local spot! Parking is extremely difficult. I went during the early morning, and could not find any parking spaces without a long walk. The service was average, nothing that stood out but 1 friendly cashier. The menu was stacked with breakfast options, deserts, and boba. I tried their eggs, pancakes, deserts being their Strawberry & Pineapple turn over along with their iced latte. The food felt reheated, and lacked a sense of freshness, pancakes were dry and I had to drown them in syrup to make due. Their standout for me was their iced latte, it's different than the basic American coffee and I really enjoyed it and thought about it throughout my day. The restaurant is a clean small space! Easy to order and nothing that stands out about appearance. They had Christmas music playing and door open for fresh air, it was definitely a vibe. If you cannot make it home from the holidays or miss home this is a very nice restaurant to be at; it reminded me of waking up to my Mother's cooking on a gloomy morning.
