I did not like my tacos. The tortillas were hard and tasted funny. The chicken was dry. Way too much lettuce and cheese. The tacos needed a sauce. Needed something. I would not buy these again. Paid $13. Waste of money.

I always bring my own food into Angel Stadium because the vegan options are few and far between. I was able to try chronic tacos for the first time this trip though and it was very tasty. There isn't anything listed on the menu as vegan or vegetarian, however, upon asking, the rice and beans are plant-based as is and they substituted guacamole in place of the chicken. The bowl was a good portion and filled with beans, rice, lettuce, pico, and guac. They also gave sides of salsa. Ideally, they would put something vegan on the menu and have more options like potatoes or veggies to get instead of the animal. I enjoyed it for what it was though!

    Bowl..gross chicken and no flavor

Great service but seriously the worst food. I ordered the bowl. It comes with chicken, rice, beans, and pico. The chicken was thigh and consisted of weird tasting pieces. The whole bowl was tasteless and I couldn't even get through half of it. A waste of $12.

If you're looking for really great Mexican food, not the place. Just your average ball park type food but I would recommend going downstairs and getting some good hot dogs or chicken and pizza. Now; if you want some nachos, I recommend asking them to skip on the chicken (no flavor and very blah) and just enjoy all the rest of toppings which are good. Pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, jalapeños etc. They're also pretty pricey but that's to be expected at a stadium.

There didn't seem to be a dress code but people were mostly dressed nice. The service was phenomenal. We were greeted by the owner himself and he made sure that we were seated and comfortable and helped us understand the menu and their wine selection. Our server was amazing as well. She was very attentive in taking our order. For food I ordered the crab cakes, the shishito peppers, and the Atlantic salmon with the chimichurri sauce on the side. I substituted the mashed potatoes for French fries because I don't eat dairy. Everything was delicious and a little different. For the shishito peppers usually these are served with a tangy sauce and the shishito peppers are blistered. With this dish the shishito peppers were still blistered but they were served on a sweet mustard sauce. For the salmon that was also delicious, served with vegetables. The French fries were great. The crab cakes were pretty good. Now if you're from Maryland you are not going to like these crab cakes, of course, because you're from crab cake capital, but for California crab cakes they were good. I would definitely come back here. I didn't get to try the wine but next time I will definitely try some of the wine and some additional food dishes.

My wife and I were looking last minute for an elevated but relaxed date night spot where we could try a couple quality dishes to satisfy our palette. We stumbled upon this restaurant in our Yelp search and quickly made a reservation on Resy when we saw the varied and refined menu. We were greeted and seated upon entering by the establishment's owner, Ernest, and I immediately knew this was going to be a special meal. It is rare and so appreciated to go into a place and feel the vision and passion from the time you walk in. Thank you, Ernest, for sharing your story and making us feel so welcome. California Vintage Wine Bistro has perfect low lighting, a thoughtful setup, and pleasant vibe-setting tunes playing in the background, creating a wonderful ambiance. We enjoyed a red Zinfandel from Argentina to drink--the wine list is very diverse and features selections from across the globe, including a wine tasting offering. For our meal, we ordered the Burrata and Baby Heirloom Tomato Salad, Steak Au Poivre, and Pan Fried Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes. All of the dishes were excellent and featured high quality ingredients, but I would certainly order that steak again. The green peppercorn brandy sauce on it was absolutely excellent to go along with a well cooked, great piece of meat. We finished the meal with their house-baked chocolate cookies, which were dangerously buttery and delicious. We are so looking forward to coming back for live music on 1st and 3rd Saturdays--hope to be there again soon!

Very dark and moody lighting and great spot for a friend night out or a first date or whatever your heart desires. Service was attentive, patient, and super friendly. Scallop Crudo: 8/10 Bright, refreshing, light, and packed with flavour. Only wish there was more scallop :( Fish Dip: 8/10 I think it had a mixture of three different fish. Probably the best version of a fish dip I've ever had. So many different textures and flavours that paired really well with each other. Only thing that was missing was some kind of vessel to dip into the fish. Tartare: 9/10 One of the best tartares I've ever had too. Again, incredible mixtures of textures and flavours, and the potatoes it came with were honestly so good I could've ordered 10 of them just to munch on to myself. Scrambled Egg Agnolotti: 10/10 Little pillows of goodness. Pasta was al dente, the sauce was divine and honestly wished I had ordered a second serving of this Hangar Steak: 8/10 Wished some slices were a little bit more tender but overall, thought this was a very unique and pleasant dish. The serving size on the steak was huge, especially given the price point, and the sauce and creamed spinach brought everything together wonderfully. I'm usually hesitant to order steaks at restaurants cause it's always a hit-or-miss but this did not disappoint Semifreddo: 7/10 - Super unique and while I'm not a big fan of desserts in general, I found this really interesting and actually enjoyed it.

The maitake mushroom that many reviewers raved about was actually my least favorite out of everything we ordered. Potatoes were ok and had a spicy kick to it. Wanderer steak was average. There is a lot going on with each dish. Lots of sauce and lots of different flavors going on. I wouldn't say complex, just a lot haha. Our server checked up on us often and was great. Even the folks that dropped off each dish were kind enough to ask if we needed anything further. This last visit makes me want to return next time they update their menu.
