    Croissan'wich - so yummy!

All vegan spot to get a variety of burgers and breakfast sandwiches. No complaints! We got there a bit later in the morning and they were out of a few things. Everything we got hit the spot!

Nice space to eat and stay dry and warm. And our puppy agrees!

Always down for breakfast. No matter what time of day. And Chubby Bunny delivers!!!! We went for my son's birthday weekend, so his request. I don't remember what I had (what it was called) but it was a Dos Hermanos bun, like a half baguette sized bun!!! With "egg," hash brown, cheez, bacun and it was GOOD. I devoured it. Yummers. For reals. I've NEVER had a bad meal at CB. Always filling and delicious. And I feel like you really get the value for what you pay. I like the new Alberta Street locale, especially since you can bring your vegan food to the patio at The Bye and Bye!! Who is and will always be my favorite cocktail bar in PDX. So I got to support them AND Chubby Bunny!! Win win!!!

I was looking for an all vegan eatery to bring a visitor to. The reviews looked great and I was excited to bring our visitor and my children. Chubby Bunny is in a pod with 5 other trucks and an entry to a bar. The space was very clean and even a large/long table with a gas fire in the middle. The woman in the truck was friendly and helpful. We ordered the Chubby Bunny, Breakfast Hoagie and two cheese burgers which all came out in an appropriate amount of time. The Chubby Bunny was indistinguishable from an actual sausage and egg sandwich other than the bacon (which was still was good). The Breakfast Hoagie was also great and being on a Dos Hermanos roll put it over the top. My daughters both said they really liked the cheese burgers. I'd definitely come again!

Chubby Bunny is good. I really enjoyed the potato mitten. It is totally junk vegan food but still so tasty. If going earlier in the morning it is hard to tell if they are open because the pod it's self is fairly quiet and most other carts are not yet open. Chubby Bunny is there to the rescue for those early morning cravings for a decent vegan breakfast sandwich.

    I love you Chubby Bunny!

OK, so Mr Steve may have enjoyed one more glass of wine than he should have the night before and woke up thinking "I'm hungry, but not up to cooking something" So I went on the Grubhub (as was the tradition at the time) and stumbled across this gem! Looking at the pictures, I was like "DAMN that looks good" and on further inspection discovering "AND it's secretly vegan?" even my hungover booty said 'This looks way too good to be true' hopped in the car and headed over. FRIENDS I CAN HAPPILY TELL YOU THE CHUBBY BUNNY IS REAL (and quite legit!) The Chubby Bunny cart's way in the back of it's little food pod and it's worth making your back there! I got the OG Chubby Bunny that comes with vegan bacon AND vegan sausage (thank god because I was definitely not feeling up to choosing between the two) and paired that bad bunny with a potato mitten which is incidentally what I'll be calling hash browns from now on. Patiently waited (not too long!) got my baggie, ran to the car and commenced to dig in The Chubby Bunny? AWWW YEAHHHH I've called at least 3 of my friends this morning to tell them the GOOD NEWS of the chubby bunny and the big standouts of this sando are - Vegan cheese that isn't trying to taste bougie? There for it! The cheese on the sando def harkens to the classic american melting 'cheese food' I grew up on and it totally works! Honestly if I didn't know it was vegan, I would never have guessed! - The 'egg'? Again! I wouldn't have guessed this one either (and it also! Super good!!) - All the toppings? The vegan sausage patty was one of the best vegan sausage patties I've had. The bacon does taste way more like 'vegan pepperoni' and I'm not only not mad at it, I'm curious now to try vegan pepperoni on my sandos in the future! - Potato mitten? Hot and crispy! Are potato mittens the healthiest thing on the planet? Who cares! Treat y'self, you won't be mad! Lastly the people there were super nice, the hot sauce they have is spicy, and they were kind enough to be open on a very chilly morning and willing to feed my slightly bootsy self (and again, thank you Chubby Bunny!!)

Chubby Bunny is a staple of Portland! If you haven't been yet, you're either new to veganism or you've just been living under a rock. It's a breakfast sandwich cart parked in the Alberta Arts food truck pod and it's all vegan! Even when it's raining, they open right on time. And they post on their IG account when they're out of things so you can check before you go. I brought breakfast sandwiches to peeps in Eugene and they LOVED them. The food truck pod has a cover from the rain, a porta potty, and even a fire to warm up next to while you wait for your order.

Really delicious vegan breakfast sandwiches and I'm not even vegan. Their sausage patty actually tastes and feels like the real version. I love their imitation ham since it's light, and resembles the pink marbly one used in Vietnamese bahn mi's. Since the fake meat parts can be a little processed, having one portion is probably enough to satisfy cravings for a while. I'm excited to come back to try their breakfast sandwich with the hash brown inside.

This is one of those places where your phone does NOT eat first- it looked so good I just had to dig in and forgot to take a picture My friends and I each got a breakfast sandwich and I could NOT believe they were secretly vegan. The potato mittens are delicious as well. Service was prompt and friendly and there is plenty of seating (including an iconic fire pit table, which we opted not to turn on since it was a warm day, though I know it could have only enhanced the experience). And do NOT sleep on their hot sauce. I had to take a picture so I could get my own bottle.

We went here for breakfast the other day. The food truck itself is so CUTE! I love rabbits so I'm obsessed with the logo. It was super easy to find and the staff was nice and service was fast. The sandwiches were so filling! They had so much in them. Including fake egg, bacon, sausage, cheese, and arugula! It was a super easy vegan breakfast and it satisfied all my cravings. I would definitely go back and I recommend this food cart if you're vegan and craving breakfast.

Secretly vegan, that's the asterisk at the bottom of this food cart's menu. Maybe I'm spoiling it for them by including it at the top of this review, but it's really a great breakfast sandwich option for every diet. Located at the back of the Belmont Street Eats food cart pod, they serve a small menu of breakfast sandwiches and sides. When wondering what to order, the friendly cashier suggested the croissant-based sandwich because it's hard to make a croissant vegan... All that butter. So, croissan'wich and the titular sandwich was my order! Both were super solid brekkie sandos. As for sides, the potato kitten is a McD's style hash brown and the french rosaries are small slices of super sweet heaven. Coffee was good but not stellar - not sure whose toast they use. This cart is keeping its pod alive, as far as I could tell on a weekend morning! Stop by to show them some support and enjoy a delicious breakfast.

Very delicious!!!!! And addicting. I will def be back. I found them initially on social media (instagram) and i'm glad I checked them out, definitely worth it. I understand they are a new business, so when I initially planned to visit this food cart, there wasn't clear information as far as open hours and days of the week. (I created this Yelp profile initially, it wasn't created yet. And, google had rudimentary information, but not a lot posted, and there was an instagram page as well!) I happened to be within 2 miles of this foodcart for a Fun Run at Mt. Tabor City Park on a Saturday, and my partner and I were hungry for a hearty snack. I briefly told him about this food cart, and we took a leap of faith- and it was open and the food was DELICIOUS! Well, worth trying something new. I had the flagship- chubbybunny sandwich. I wasn't sure what to go with, so my first visiti and I went with the namesake. IT was delicious! As a vegetarian, I have given up on eating breakfast sandwiches over 20 years ago. They are hard to find that are vegetarian, or just not very good. But, this spot checks both those boxes! They are delicious, and there is a couple of choices and varieties as well. I am really excited about coming back to this place!

Great vegan sandwich to satisfy a snack craving! It wasn't very filling though but I would come here again. It's located in a food cart and the service was pretty quick! I enjoyed the different flavors and thought that went into making the product. The sandwich I got was $12 and has no sides included, which is a bit pricey! So I wouldn't come here too often. It also was a bit salty.

Chubby Bunny uses words like "bacon egg sausage and cheese" but does not state it's vegan in the menu descriptions. Looking back, somewhere on the page it did have 'secretly vegan' in very small type and strange font, so that it could easily be missed. I bit into the sandwich, and it was sooooo not bacon or sausage or egg that I immediately had a terrible response. I literally took it out of my friend's hand because she has a severe soy allergy. The descriptions DO NOT indicate this food is vegan, and it's dangerous. I understand wanting to have people try new things they normally wouldn't be comfortable with, but hiding what the items actually are is false advertising and a huge liability, especially for those with food allergies. We ordered from an online platform that made zero mention of anything being vegan except for one tiny area under the hash-brown that you could barely read saying 'secretly vegan.' This could easily be read that it only applied to the hash brown. This was only noticed as we had to go back and look and figure out what we were even eating. Also it tastes terrible, btw.

I came after a review I read on Eater for FoPo area eats. I'm not a huge fried food fan but this place was good. I got the Steelhead trout fish and chips. Wait was ok they give you a buzzer so you can stroll around the food court. Took about 10 mins not bad. The locally sourced steelhead was a delicious surprise. Tender, juicy fish with crispy breading. Good seasoning. Fries were thicker so not as crispy but still hearty. 3 medium sized pieces of fish. They included ketchup for the fries as well as malt vinegar and tartar sauce for authentic fish dip. Wedge of lemon, too! All in a earth-friendly cardboard box. They take credit just fine. Very convenient location at Carts on Foster just down the street from where I was staying. So I walked back and enjoyed there. If you're staying you could probably cruise over to any local breweries or the bar cart for a beer to complement the fried food. Good time!!!
