Waited for over 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food yesterday and they got the order wrong. Manager told us it was because of the large party that came in after us (hello, you knew they were coming, that's part of your routine).. . She also said it was not unusual for food to take that long. She didn't seem to care that we were not happy about the long wait and offered nothing to compensate us. Finally got my money back. Other review comments about machines not working properly and Chuck E. not coming out are also true. I don't like to put out negative reviews but the management of this location needs a wake up call. read more

This location is under staffed and needs some help place was full and think $20-40 a group they could hire a few more. Lines are way to long to get in order food, no ice and no straws. I had so much fun at Chuck E. Cheese .! Thanks to this amazing employee Brian. He was so sweet checked on us and made my little one smile so big. So thank you Brian for making my little girls night. I think its a great place for young kids. There are more games and things they can do here compared to boomers, Belmont park or any other arcade. It's also a token each so you dont have to spend much on games and they can pick a toy for prizes which they love! ( even though those toys are super cheap) it's also small enough that you dont have to be super worried about them getting lost. There are however not a lot of variety of food which isn't so bad because their options are what kids would eat and its good for a quickly meal. Employees are not friendly. We havent been since the transformation from coins. First guy we talked to didnt explain how it worked or even how to change coins we had from before to the card system. He pointed us to a machine that clearly didnt accept coins. We went back up asked a girl behind the register and she pointed into another direction to a kiosk. We asked the same girl what's the difference between point play and timed play? She couldnt tell us but it's your preference of which one you want to choose lol. Machines half didnt work. I walked up to the guy at the door because the people behind the counter suck and do not have knowlege of where they work. Well, he was the guy that fixes the machines and couldnt leave the door. The one guy fixing all the machines eventually he went missing. Come to find out hes the guy that plays Chucke so there is no one to help with fixing or reimbursing customers. This dude needs a raise! He also was the most helpful person in this joint! We cut our visit short. How they changed the prizes is ridiculous and dont make sense. You pay $8 for candy nerds lol and I guess you can pay for tickets as well as products??? Anyway, as I was walking out and my husband was waiting so patiently at there counter for a piece of candy my son was ready to go. I went to walk out and the girl at the door stopped me and said is he the only person I walked in with? I take my kids here often, they love it! We normally come here on Sundays which can be a very busy day for CEC. Good selection of games, decent amount of seating. Be prepared to wait when ordering food, waited about 35 minutes for a large pepperoni pizza. read more

Last night we decided to take my kids to Chuck E. Cheese and was a bad experience from the moment we got there to the moment we left. The manager or what ever she was SANDRA was being rude. She not once greeted use nor did she say to "wait" till she checked us in. Yelled at my sisters because they didn't get a stamp and as we wanted to order she refused to take our order and sent another person to help is. #RUDE As 9:00 was getting closer not once did we get a warning about closing time. 9:00pm hit and she shut the games/ticket redeemer and leaves my boys wondering what was happening to the machine as they want to redeem their tickets to get prizes. As we politely told her about the machine all she said rudely was " I know, I know" like why the fuck you do it then if you know.. like hello!! Then afterwards she never showed her face! Cleanest Chuck E. Cheese I've been too. Friendly staff and the food is great; however, there are a ton of self-entitled trashy people who come to this place. I'm talking about the kind who give their 8 month yr old infant a bottle full of grape fruit soda. Well it is Escondido... The games are great! The service is awesome and my kids had a great time. Five adults decided to go for the Pizza, Salad and Dessert Buffet for lunch. We arrived at 11:45 a.m. and the buffet times were 11-2p.m. There were a few pieces of pizza and 2 empty pans at the table. I asked if they were bringing out any more pizza and was told that it would be at least 15 minutes. This was very disappointing because we were on our lunch hour. The dessert was never brought out either. We finally asked for it and one dessert pizza was put out and gone in seconds. The staff is not helpful, and not interested in making sure the table is fully stocked at all times! We paid almost $60 for 5 people including drinks and feel like it was a rip off. read more

Went in a few days ago in the morning with my 2 year old son - I order my lunch buffet special and my game card... we went straight to the toddler section since my son couldn't wait. Upon arriving 4 ( clock ride, the scooby van look alike ride, the train, and photo booth) out of the 5 things he likes to play with were "temporarily unavailable" or in other words broken... it's a freaking joke considering their toddler area consist of around 10 machines or so... I instantly went to the register and ask for a refund do to the fact that half their machines were broken ... I did get my refund but not one word from the manager she just placed the money on the counter and walked away- no I'm sorry, no here's your refund thanks for coming- she barley acknowledged me. For a place who gets lots of my business A simple apology would go a long way. After leaving I called the Vista location to check if there machines were in service and they were. Even though they were short staff the people there had way better customer service and gave off a vibe as if they were actually happy to be there. Worst chuck e. Cheese ever!!! Several games don't work. The rides are dirty! Half the ticket counting machines were out of order and the one that did work didn't count the tickets right. When I notified an employee he gave me a voucher for 200 tickets when I had already put close to 400 tickets in the machine. We'll never come back here again. The service today was the worst I have ever seen it. My husband and I took our toddler and immediately there were staff "goofing " around and waited roughly 6-8 minutes to be called up by an associate at the register (there was no one at the front cafe to take my order). After we received our pizza my husband proceeded to play with our son and I refilled my salad plate (asked for a new plate). When I returned back to the table there was a kid cleaning up our area, I said "excuse me we were not finished" (I was gone no more than 3 minutes). He answered with "oh well I didn't know" then walked away! No apology, nothing. My husband called the manager and she was HORRIBLE at handling the situation, not only did she "discipline " the kid in front of us she also made it seem as if it were our problem. My husband asked her if we can have our soda cup back and that was that. After this, chucke made his grand appearance (very late) and was simply walking around playing with the games (in the big kid side). He completely failed to interact with the children who were excited to see him! I've never experienced such poor quality in a family environment like this one! I live equidistant to this CEC and the one in Mira Mesa, but prefer this one. It's cleaner and much less crowded mid-day, after school. Sometimes it's hard to find an employee to help with a broken game or buying more tokens, but it's a tradeoff for the emptiness. read more

We have not been to Chuck E. Cheese for a while. For some reason, my sister-in-law decided to throw a party for my almost teen-age son here--on a Friday night! I was bracing myself for the crowd and the noise and frazzled employees. None of them materialized. It was not that crowded, the place was clean and well-lit, the music was not blaring and our hostess, Ely, was fantastic. She kept the energy up and was very entertaining. The crew, overall, was very accommodating and solicitous. My son was even given extra tickets (those high-numbered tickets--1000, 200). It is a far cry from the way I remembered this branch when my son was young. We did not feel hurried at all; unlike when we had one of his birthdays here when he was way younger. That time, we felt we were being driven away right after our 2-hour party. This time, the atmosphere was relaxed and everything was taken cared of by the hostess. read more

When a business does an excellent job I feel it should not only get my business but I also should share my experience for two reasons. 1) Taking care of the customer experience with good service, food and a super clean environment. 2) If a business does this well, I feel compelled to have others have this experience and to spend their hard earn money so this business can survive and prosper in a difficult retail environment. I came here on a rainy Sunday with my wife, son and one of his classmates. The first thing I noticed was how friendly the staff is, young and eager to help (very refreshing), secondly there was one of the staff cleaning every machine/game an doing an excellent job and it showed, she moved the machines out so she could clean the tops and the very back of the tops of the games. The whole place was super clean. The food was really good, we had pizza, wings and salad. It was a very fresh salad bar, great tasting pizza and good wings. The whole environment and experience was a great way to spend a couple of hours with the family. read more

This review is on the manager who I regretfully forgot to get her name but she is there in the evenings and has short black hair. Ok well my 2 great old daughter is a fan of chuckee and he is the reason she wants to go. We took her and waited 2 hours for him to come out after they told us he comes out every half hour at the 30. We asked again if he was coming out and an employee repeated what she said before so we decided to just go and as you can imagine my daughter was sad while all of this was going on the manager was nearby and heard it all.....she asked a different employee to please put on the chuckee suit and come out specifically for my daughter.
