I came in with my kids on Tuesday to play arcade games. When we came up to the front nobody was there. We asked for somebody to serve us, and a girl took our order. She was very helpful and explained to us the deals and passes they had. She helped us to get what we wanted. We got our food about 20 minutes later, which was very good and my kids enjoyed it. There was a broken game but my kids went up to a guy who explained to them that sometimes the slots are empty and you have to watch out for them. He was sweet and such a character. Horrible, just horrible. As soon as you walked in it was so much for points. When you used the card the game either didn't work and it spent our points anyways on broken games. The staff was just straight up disrespectful and was rude towards us. There was a child's birthday party and chucky came out and you weren't allowed to see the mouse unless you were apart of the party , I understand that but mind you, we've been there for 3 hours and no mouse has come out so we wait another hour my sister really wants to see the mouse she's been waiting 3 hours and we just wanted to get the hell out of there already, staff was ARGUING infront of the children swearing and yelling what not . I took the grandkids here to enjoy a day of kids play. This location is off Atlantic Blvd. I was looking for a more updated place. When you enter, you can tell that it needs to be renovated. Floor rugs, walls & tables. Games were divided by little kids on the left and then big kids age on the right side. We purchased the armbands/ game cards which was for 2-3 hours unlimited play. We ordered pizza and salad bar for them to eat. The food was actually delicious. The price was a little bit higher for what I expected for kids. They throughly enjoyed it. We went there for my goddaughter's birthday, and it was a disaster. There was not communication even with a general manager. There are good games for toddler to teenagers. They need to be more clear on the party packages. Food is OK. read more

Chuck E Cheese, where a kid can be a kid! This was the slogan of yesteryear. I must admit, I walked in expecting to be more excited than my nephews. Unfortunately, this has become a place where you come if you want the kids to run tired or bored. What happened to the games like, Jurassic Park arcade, Arctic Thunder, Chuck E's super shot or Down the clown game? Did corporate just randomly decide to move on to something "better"? Being an individual who has had some memorable moments at Chuck E Cheese growing up, I felt bad for my nephews. They'll never have the thrill of waiting in line to play some of these iconic games. Sure, if you're one that wants to take your child somewhere and let them run wild, this could accommodate that for you. I want to bear in mind that there'll be no ball pit, sorry, that's no longer there. What happened to tokens? You now have to purchase a game card where you scan and play. Huh? This isn't Dave and Busters. I think the one positive and consistent thing I've noticed is the pizza! Look, hands down, I don't think there's any pizza spot that can compete. I just came to taste the pizza, because I couldn't remember what it tasted like. People are always commenting on how good the pizza is, so I ordered an individual pizza to go. That personal pizza was $8 and some change. I could of gotten a full size pizza from Papa John's for that price! I purchased the super supreme (something like that). It was OK, toppings were fresh and cheese was gooey. I rarely ever encounter a pizza that has the "string" effect. Facility: From what I remember, Chuck E Cheese's was bigger and waaaay more fun lol probably because I was a kid. Still, the games looked dry. No ball pit, no climbing ladders, or tunnels. How is this place still running? We went on a Monday and there happened to be two buses of children there from a boys and girls club. It was a mad house! The kids were going crazy, pushing my kids, bumping into us and cutting in line. Where were the chaperones? Not only was it crowded, half of the games did not work. We spent most of our time going from machine to machine trying to swipe our card only to find out it doesn't work. And then, when we went to the ticket counter machine to count our tickets, all but one was working. My kids did not have fun and they just wanted to leave. Thennn.... after we finally got our tickets counted, all they got was some suckers and a bouncy ball with 600 tickets. Take your kids elsewhere! read more

My grandson loves coming here. I can get him to do just about anything if I promise to bring him. He has been visiting with me for the past 2 weeks and we have gone twice. It keeps him entertained and he makes new friends. The pizza isn't too bad. We usually get a side a parmesan cheese bread to go with it as there are 3 of us. This is by far the BEST Chuck E Cheese experience I've ever had! My family and I came to visit from South Carolina and decided to stop by before heading home! We were greeted by Keith, who opened the door with a VERY warm welcome! After stating that we'd never been to this location before, he gave us a detailed breakdown of how this location operated and assured us, that our kids would enter in AND out with us (unlike many other locations who don't bother to check when leaving). He was so attentive and even came to let us know our buzzer was going off, realizing that we left it at the table! That's what you call "an attentive employee" who's aware of their surroundings and goes above and beyond! Debrah and Lee, who were SUPER friendly, helped us with purchasing cards and food and even helped me navigate through the website to get coupons. Debrah suggested a package that would be suitable for our family of 4.. again, ANOTHER ATTENTIVE EMPLOYEE. Our food was extremely fresh and tasted great, thanks to the cooks! While sitting, I observed EVERY employee doing something.. Game techs, Markese and Jabari, were testing games to assure they were working properly! Markese and I even had a brief conversation, in which I discovered how friendly he was! Whomever the management team is, should definitely acknowledge and reward these individuals! I remember it being a lot better when I was a kid. Half of the games were out of order and 1/2 of those that weren't working weren't marked as so so when you went to play them they just ttok your money. Not worth the effort to complain though. read more

I took my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter here for her first time. It was a Saturday so it was crowded and noisy but that's to be expected. I used coupons from the website. I got cheesy bread, that was really good with two dipping sauces, a soda, apple juice box and 10 tokens for $8. and some change. We had a great time. The best part was when I asked about Chuck E. Cheese coming out the employee I talked to said it would be another 30 minutes. She asked me if we could wait that long and I said no. She then offered to have Chuck E come out in 5 minutes! First, I love taking my daughter to Chuck E. Cheese (she's almost 20 months old now). This location was the pits so far in my 3 restaurant experiences. The one on Shops Lane, zip 32258 was the best so far out of the three we have tried in Jacksonville during my work travel, but didn't have the animatronic Chuck E. Cheese unless I missed him. The games all worked, plenty of ticket munchers, and the food was very good. Plus it was extremely clean. They have a cool dance floor. They don't have a playground area though. It was extremely well-staffed and everyone was courteous. The one problem we had is somehow the orders vs table numbers got messed up. We were being told to take the wings we did not order. Another staff member came to our aid and figured it out. They also did not kick people out after they closed, they just did there cleaning and were entertaining. The next was on Youngerman Circle zip code 32258. They were smaller and had issues with the beer (they kept taking big bowls of beer to dump in the back). Games worked and they had a decent ratio of ticket munchers. Pizza was ok. They had a decent staff level. They had a working animatronic Chuck and a costumed Chuck once during our visit. We sort of knew we were in for an adventure when there was a police cruiser and officer inside at the front door. Still, I was going to treat my daughter to a nice time as a family of three (I spent about $90, did the military Bravo deal and added another 100 tokens plus two large beers which were sort of flat). I should have surveyed it first and drove to Shops Lane. Many of the games were out of order, many more didn't work properly (no tickets, controls didn't work, scores didn't register), but had no sign on them. The pizza was terrible...not to mention they were out of mushrooms. It reminded me of the bad pizza they served in the 70's when I was a boy. They only had one cashier and the customers seemed to have a hard time getting their orders placed. I found this out when I had all my stuff ready, but it was a tedious process. The cashier kept getting called by staff telling her things were out and had to call back people to reorder. I was one of them. Most of the rides that give pictures were out of paper. They did have two craft type beers which is wierd (one was 312 which was in the spot my Michelob Ultra would be so we had to go with Bud Light, we usually do our two beers each so they lost $10 in sales and probably $9 in profit from that). The place was dirty, by the playground they had a ton of old gum(?) stuck on the carpet. Only two ticket munchers (the third was broken). They had the animatronic Chuck, but he was broken. They did have a costumed Chuck throwing tickets a few time during our visit. Other parents were complaining and many mentioned the Shops Lane is much better. The management/franchise should do a deep dive on this location (there was throw up in a bathroom we mentioned and about 30mins or so later was still all over the place). The playground area was big though and that is about the only plus I can give them and my daughter learned to climb it and had a lot of fun there, except for one little girl taking her shoe and hiding it in it. We asked a little boy's mom if her son could find the shoe. He gave him some tickets after we asked first when he returned excited with the shoe. He was really happy about that. That whole area is terrible, the Regency Mall is almost deserted and the staff that still works there is usually not good. The McDonalds across the street pretty much from Chuck E Cheese took 10 mins to get two unsweetened ice teas due to chattering workers in the drive-through lanes and not telling the car in front of us to pull into the waiting spaces.
