The sweet red pepper sauce and the generous crab portions were beautifully presented. * Mixed Greens: A lesson in simplicity done right. It was perfectly dressed and easily shared between two. * Mahi Mahi: A standout special with a perfect sear and a moist center. * The Steak: Ordered medium and delivered as such, though it was a bit tough and felt "buried" under the heap of potatoes, onion rings, and asparagus. * Bari Lemon Olive Oil Cake: Do not let the name intimidate you! It was the star of the show. Moist, perfectly paired with fig ice cream, and large enough to share. The kitchen was unfortunately very slow. A large party of 20 on the patio seemed to back things up, leading to long gaps between our courses (though dessert arrived quickly). I have relatives who live in Houston , Texas and when they visit they dont leave without taking back some frozen chilli from Chuck Wagon. My Grandmother God rest her soul loved a chilli dog. Just going to add my 2 cents in for the iconic old school chili dog stand. I don't have it that often but when I do it's so good. Chili dog with chili fries is generally the order of the day.
