Great selection of cigars - horrible service. This is usually one of my first stops when I touch down in Arizona; being from California, we don't have any decent cigar bars that allow smoking inside. During this recent visit, I specifically went to Churchill's to purchase a humidor and stock up on cigars; however, their employee (Don) was so rude and inattentive that we decided to try a different location. When we asked for a specific cigar, Don just pointed in a general direction and went back to looking through some papers. We had to ask a few more times before finally finding what we needed. When I inquired about the humidors, he seemed really bothered that we were asking questions and basically just threw out a price without engaging with us. I'm truly disappointed with this experience especially considering that we traveled from out of state to enjoy this establishment. read more

Whilst I was visiting Phoenix in February 2017, I had my first ever Cigar Cafe/Shop experience. I went in there to meet my friends whom are avid cigar smokers and I was impressed with the layout, quantity and quality of Cigars available and also with their drinks selection. Atmosphere was really relaxed, nice tasting coffee and also very comfortable seats along with the perfect host! The owner was really friendly, came over more than twice or thrice to see if we wanted anything else, checked up on us to see if the cigars were to our liking and also provided some useful information regarding what we were smoking etc. I always imagined a Cigar Shop to be under smoke, smelling badly of various cigars etc. However, on the contrary, venue was well ventilated, everywhere was clean as it can be, including the toilets and the whole experience was 10/10! The service and selection at Churchill's is as good as it gets! A friend of mine bought me a humidor from here as a gift. There was a continual problem with the small humidifier that attaches to the inside of the lid. After many attempts at fixing the issue, they made the decision to upgrade me to the next size, almost twice as big as well as upgrading the humidification system inside the box. Every time I walk in I'm greeted with a hello and if I need anything they're right there to take care of me. I drive out of my way to go here and this is the only place in town that I'll buy my cigars from. read more

I heard about this place from a friend in LA so when I came out here I had to stop in. Churchill's has an expansive selection of cigars and spirits. Willet bourbon was having a tasting when I showed up and that was a lot of fun as well. This is the holy grail of cigar lounges and I don't know if can get any better after this. This is a nice large shop with wide open spaces. Too many cigar shops are small and packed these days. There is a smoking room as well as space to smoke in the general shop area. The humidor is very big and very well stocked with a wide range of selections. While you pay the usual cigar shop price compared to online savings, the prices were reasonable and in line with being a retail shop. Accessory prices are reasonable. Emma is a particularly great bar tender and has willingly taken the time to advise this out of town visitor on some great restaurants I probably would not find on my own. I have been working in Phoenix for a number of months and will likely be there until at least October. This has quickly become my go to place to wind down. Owner is extremely rude and creepy. He asked us to leave the bar after we addressed the poor restroom sanitation. When we left the bar, we were followed by the owner and he made us extremely uncomfortable. We went into nearby shops/restaurants and he followed us everywhere we went trying to get us to leave the area. Not very professional for a bar owner. read more

Churchill's is a cigar lounge with a classic, up-scale men's club atmosphere. The cigar selection in their humidor is impressive and the prices were reasonable. Drink selection is also good but very pricey compared to other lounges in the area. Service was good but I wouldn't come back here again because of the expensive drink prices. read more

This is an extraordinary cigar bar. Here on a visit from Boston and staying at the JW Marriott Camelback, I had a hankering for a fine cigar. A quick perusal on yelp and I was on my way. This cigar bar ROCKS, it is extraordinary! My only wish is that I could pick it up and move it back to Boston. The selection is superb. The staff is exceptional and once they new my go to cigars they were able to direct me to other fine selections I had never seen or tried. One fine example was the Fratello cigar, handsome, perfectly crafted and a superior smoke that blows the doors off cigars costing twice as much. To top it off and like others have said, they have an extensive and fine selection of spirits to imbibe, which is topped of by a wonderful atmosphere. It is cigar nirvana! I am on vacation from New York. Today (Christmas Day) at 3:45pm I stopped by the door was open. As soon as I opened the door a female that was working there practically attacked me...she stated that the lounge was closed. I asked her if I could ask a fast question and she berated me that she already stated the store was closed I asked her if I could ask one question and she stated I should get out as she wanted to lock the door. This place is the perfect man cave. Tremendous selection in their large humidor, highly knowledgable staff, a smoking room with deep leather chairs and a big TV. Best of all, it's BYOB! This shop has the best selection and some of the best cigar shop people in the business. Sadly, this shop needs an upgrade. The ventilation sucks and if more than two people are hanging out in the shop you walk out smelling like you were in the shop for 12 hours instead of 10 minutes. Tricia the bartender was a treat, making great cocktails and pouring some awesome top-shelf brands. We stayed twice as long as we planned because of the enjoyable conversation. She even directed us to late night eats that turned out to be a over the top great, Mixx32. All in all a great place for a great time. read more
