I've been coming to this Church's Chicken for a while, and normally things are pretty consistent. Recently, though, one thing has definitely changed -- the place has gotten much stricter about plates, sauces, and portions. I understand having policies, but the shift feels abrupt and a bit unfriendly compared to how they used to operate. On top of that, the restroom was out of order. I'm not sure how long it's been broken, but something like that should be addressed quickly. A functioning restroom is basic, especially for a restaurant. The part that really bothered me, though, was the situation with the soccer ball giveaway. The manager told me they only had one version available. Later, I saw him walk to his car and put the Mexico soccer ball in his trunk. So much for "only one version." It's disappointing to be told one thing and then see the exact opposite happen right in front of you. Overall, the food is still what you'd expect from Church's, but the customer experience has definitely taken a step backward. I hope they tighten up the restroom issue and bring back the more welcoming, straightforward service they used to have. read more

Tried Church's for the first time and was not impressed. Bought the Chicken Meal with 2 sides and the only thing I liked was their Corn (on the Cob). Their Mac & Cheese tasted like artificial cheese and the pasta was chewy like plastic. Chicken was a 6/10 because it was dry. To be fair, the bf was obsessed with their wings. Feeling rather brave again and, honestly, I have exhausted the search for great chicken at the other places, I took the gamble to come back. The reviews still aren't great, but some are based on the service. Importantly, the chicken has to be super awesome to make me return for more as I can forgive a little bad service. Since about six months ago, and multiple visits later, I can say that the chicken has remained consistently awesome. They are super crispy and tasty, and moist with the flavor penetrating to the bone which means the marinate time is long enough. Important. I went to this location on April 17th at around 8:15 PM. I am very disappointed with this experience. First of all, I don't appreciate hearing from the one of the two female workers there at the time, minutes before being handed my order, "Gross, we need to change our oil, it's so disgusting!" This is so unprofessional. They should monitor that more carefully. This "disgusting" oil lead to our chicken tasting like cardboard mixed with dirty socks. Yes, that oil is disgusting. Thank you so much for thinking about your customers and actually changing the oil ahead of time to give us an amazing experience. That last sentence is sarcasm by the way, just in case you all don't get it. I guess people just don't care about customer service anymore. This chicken was gross and cold. This Church's Chicken is located on a corner, across Shell gas station and right in front of Something Healthy Cafe and 24 Hour Fitness, with it's own parking lot and drive thru. My husband was craving some fried chicken so we ended up coming here about 30 minutes before closing. We saw a sign for the 3 piece chicken meal for $3.99 (prior to tax, or $4.37 after) and decided to get that. Since the intercom was not working (with a sign informing customers), we pulled forward to the window to order. The employee taking our order asked my husband if he could please put on a mask to order. Figured I would make mention in case you wish to order to go (and may not have a mask on hand and may not have been expecting to wear one while ordering through the drive thru). The employee had apologized that he only had original and did not have any spicy ready at this time and it was still cooking. This was fine and so the wait time for our order was minimal. Our 3 piece meal came with 1 thigh, 2 drum sticks and a honey biscuit. One drum stick was smaller than the other. I thought the drum stick I had was juicy and I liked the biscuit with the honey glaze on top. Just wished both items I ate were bigger. July 2022 - Yes I'm reviewing fast food fried chicken, lol. Went on a Saturday around 3pm. Was greeted by a seemingly impatient male supervisor. Didn't hear our order correctly at first and kept talking over us when we tried to clarify. Alright fine. Then while he was gathering our order into a box, we noticed he left out a biscuit (was supposed to get 2). As soon as we opened the box, the man said "Yea the biscuits are in there."... hmm we didn't say anything to him before about missing items so it seemed like an odd comment the make right away. I ordered 1 three strips chicken spicy and a small mashed potato and was told total of $11 finding out they charged me 2 three strips spicy chicken. I felt it was overpriced for what I ordered then asked for the itemized after they had charged me. She quickly then refund me in cash without correctly cancel the order and re-ring it up. I came here for a deal. I got the 3 piece spicy fried chicken and a biscuit and it's only 5 dollars. My chicken was tasty and the skin was crispy. The biscuit though was a bit bland and didn't have the honey flavor that church is known for. Btw this location is only drive thru right now. They aren't taking walk ins. Also the manager was really nice and helpful in explaining their deals. Now my friend had the 3 piece regular fried chicken and that one was terrible.
