I've been here a few times. If I sit at the bar I get great service. If I get a table, we are ignored and hungry. It was not even busy.

Stopped by on a whim late one night after they first opened, I was told there was a 2 1/2 hour wait. No big deal, it was a new restaurant I understood but did decide to go somewhere else to eat. I have family coming in tomorrow night so I thought it would be perfect to make a reservation for tomorrow evening for dinner. I called and told the 1st man that answered the phone I want to make a reservation for tomorrow night at 9:30, he said "Great let me get your reservations desk." I waited on hold for about 5 minutes. A girl answered I told her I wanted to make the reservation for tomorrow night at 9:30, she said "We only take reservations the day of." I said "Well I wish the 1st guy would have let me know I've been waiting on hold." She asked how long I waited on hold and I told her and she said she'll "let the manager know that, but my understanding is we only take reservations the day of." The service at this restaurant is obviously terrible I can't even get in there. Who's ever heard of a reservation that can only be taken the day of? That's ridiculous. Came in for oir wedding anniversary, hoping for a quick dinner at the newly opened Chuys. As expected, long wait and food line. I can't lie, after and hour and a half after waiting for a table and food, we grew a little frustrated especially our little 1 year old. We then asked for our food to be packaged as to-go so we could get our little guy home for bed. After another small wait, the manager Lou came out and provided our food complimentary. Was not expected at all for my wife and I and we immediately felt bad and said was not needed. He insisted and was very apologetic. Our faces grew immediately red hoping we didn't make anyone feel bad. I have to say this knocked our socks off and definitely changed our experience here, we will be back for sure. I love that they opened a Chuy's in Vintage Park. Their food and drinks are all great. We've occasionally had some hit or miss service but usually it's solid. This is a favorite for a meal with the whole family AND a night out without the kids. read more

Love that they put one of these closer to us! I've been going for years and am excited for one a few minutes away. I haven't had anything bad from the menu. My favorites are the fajitas and Mexi-Cobb salad. The great thing about Chuy's are the prices. Fajitas are $13-14 for one person where as other popular restaurants have them for closer to $50! The food is ok, I really like their salsas. The service leaves a lot to be desire, it is slow and the 3 times we have visited it's been the same. The servers always take for ever to bring drinks or refills. The last time we were there my son's meal was awful, it took 10 min for our waitress to re-appear so we could let her know the dish was awful. I hope they improve their service, there are many restaurants serving Mexican food in our city to choose from, there is no reason to spend money at a facility with mediocre service. read more

I may have just come on a bad day because the food was great but the service was just really disappointing. Me and my partner were there for an hour before receiving our food, and we got our food before we even got our silverware. It was especially difficult to get anyone's attention because they were always looking away. Was a regular visitor to their Westheimer location (margaritas anyone) and was very excited when they opened up in NW Houston. Love their ranch based dipping sauce for chips. Their specialty dish "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" would be my pick for first timers. Their veggie options like Chile Rellenos and Enchilladas are by far better than than many other tex mex places. Pro tip: Order take out and get a ginormous bag of chip for the entire family. read more

Could not have been better! I first want to commend this Chuy's for their top notch opening. We have been waiting for this location to open with eager anticipation. We frequented the woodlands location and love the food there. This place was better! There was a wait of course we went on a Sunday evening but we were seated 15 minutes faster than we were quoted, the hostess was very friendly and attentive. Dennis our server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and our food came out at lightning speed. I usually have a mindset of forgiveness when a new place opens expecting something to go wrong and being ok with it. Nothing went wrong. Even my chickachicka-boom boom (I always order that) was better than I've ever had it. My only hope is that whoever is running this location to keep it keep up. Went very soon after their opening, so it was very busy, and the service was predictably chaotic and flustered. FYI... they do not serve full menu in the bar. I was told the bar area was open seating, which I jumped on given the hour wait and the Astros playing on the only TVs (in the bar area of course). I wasn't told until after I forfeited my spot in line that they didn't serve the full menu in the bar area. That was a little frustrating. Other than that, the food was good and didn't take long. The queso/salsa bar is a nice perk. The patio is nice and dog friendly, I was told. Bring in some draft beer and serve the full menu in the bar, and we might become regulars! read more

Usually this location does a really good job and the food is always great. I also really enjoy the drinks here. However- due to COVID 19, they only offered to go. I went today and ordered a steak burrito and flautas. When I bit into my flauta I felt something hard on my teeth. Turns out there was a rock inside one of the flautas... I understand that there may not be as much staff available due to everything going on, but just letting you know to be a little more careful. My husband and I decided to try Chuy's for dinner tonight. Staff was nice and didn't have to wait long for seated. This restaurant is way too loud. You have to yell in order for the waitress to hear you. We couldn't even have a nice conversation. All you hear is customers talking loud in order to hear each other. As for the food. We both ordered the Elvis. All you taste is the heavy dark sauce that taste kind of like a bad thick bbq sauce with lime. It was all over the beef and cheese enchiladas and under the rice. We couldn't taste the sauce on the chicken enchilada in the middle because the sauce ran onto both sides of it. We will not be going back. Only got two stars because staff was very nice and restaurant was clean. read more

I ordered food from Chuy's. It was the worst. We arrived at 6:40 for food to be ready at 6:30. The food was not ready until 8:00. There was no order to ordering or picking up your food. The staff was so frustrated they would say the food was not ready and then yell the manager's name for us to make a report. I had to go to the pickup table and ask about my food and still wait. While waiting, I had another a@@hole customer tell me I shouldn't talk rudely to the staff. This happened in front of at least 20 customers. This was after I stood there and listened to customer after customer say whatever rude thing they wanted. I only spoke loudly so the Chuy's staff member could hear snd see me. Let me mention I was not suppose to be out of the car and Ieft my mask in the car. So a quick food pick up turns into being around too many peopke with no mask, some rude white guy being rude to me, and 1 1/2 hour wait! Does that sound like a good curbside experience?
