My son had a great time running around. I love how they kept it engaging for the kids, but some of the activities were too advanced for my toddler to follow. For example, he could not figure out how to find the blue styrofoam roll and place that on the puzzle board to unlock the village. There were also too many kids in the cage area, so it was hard to get him up there to throw the ball at Gargamel. At the end, he did not want to put on the VR goggles, so we went straight to the gift shop. Our favorite activity was the obstacle course. The kids had loads of fun climbing and running to and fro. I personally like the Smurf village, which was absolutely adorable with vibrant colors. You can also meet the Smurf characters for photo-op. It was definitely a fun experience that was not too congested with others. Entrance fee definitely on the pricey side though.

I have been at the pool the last 3 weekends (4 Xs total) this Summer and it is truly 5 stars! The check in is super easy. I paid $5 each time (a discount for C.Hill) residents as well as your guest. They do take cash or card which is convenient. The line is never long, really non existent most of the time. Parking is a breeze especially if you get there for open swim which begins at 12 noon. The majority of the lounge chairs are shaded and you don't have to worry about anyone taking/moving your belongings as you enjoy the water. The lazy river is extremely clean and well kept and the floaties are in abundance and FREE! Everyone is respectful in the pool! At any given time there can be newborn babies to the seniors and every age in between so being courteous is just as important as having fun! The music is great too! They play EVERYTHING including Spanish songs on Cedar Hill Tunes. There is one lazy river, one slide which is so much fun and never a long line, as well as a larger pool that is wheelchair assessable too. It was in this pool that my BF taught me to swim this Summer so the Cedar Hill Lagoon will forever be memorable to me! They also have about 7 cabanas that you can rent out for your private event. The bathrooms have great air flow and are pretty well kept with no trash on the ground an I definitely appreciated the cleanliness. They also have showers too. The lifeguards are also professional and they appear to have fun too. There is food available if you get hungry. A CH police officer does make his/her round at the pool too so it definitely makes you feel safe an at ease. I hope the Lagoon continues to be a fun, clean, memorable place for my future summers!

I tried to be understanding of what they can't control, and move past the lack of kindness from any workers, however throughout my stay here, it only got harder for me. After driving hours, and spending money on gas and groceries, we couldn't just go home. The second we get to the cabin, I spot the lifeless roaches EVERYWHERE. After cleaning up, I noticed the dishes all have food on them and were clearly not properly cleaned. So we again had to clean each dish. The bedroom door was broken off the hinges and wouldn't close, giving us no privacy whatsoever. The tv didn't work at all. Now onto the actual lake. We were rightfully angry and disappointed that we travelled to stay in a lake cabin, and we weren't warned about the sewage leak, however we tried to make the best out of it and enjoy the view and the nature. This mindset lasted a good 2 seconds before we saw the amount of trash. The piles of trash hidden behind trees and the cans and plastic on the shore was astonishing. The final nail in the coffin was coming back to our cabin to find the walls and ceiling COVERED in tiny bugs that seemed to be coming from the sink drain. We proceeded to try to get rid of them, and brush them off the wall and kill them, however they kept multiplying. We packed up and left immediately after this. The service we received, the price we payed, and the lack of communication we experienced was unacceptable. I don't recommend staying here.
