Love the Coppell CiCi's. The Coppell general manager, Rosa, is the absolute sweetest! She is so friendly and cares so genuinely about Cicis' guests, takes great care in the establishment, and cares about Coppell as a whole. She gave me a hundreds of coupons for our Key Club of Coppell High School students, and she donated 10 pizzas for the Kiwanis Club of Coppell charter dinner! Rosa also mentioned any nonprofits can plan a night to promote their organization there, and anyone that dines that evening and mentions the organization referred them, she'll donate a portion of the sales to the organization. (Great fundraiser opportunity for Coppell organizations!) The food is yummy & fresh (great selection), the establishment is fun, and Rosa really cares about her staff and to keep the place clean. We dropped by this location because this kiddos love it here. Rosa, the manager, made sure everything was well stocked and clean. We did come right at opening at 11 am. They had plenty of pizzas to choose from. They also have a decent salad bar if you want to try to eat a little healthier. The atmosphere is very casual with lots of kids. The food is not bad for the price point. They have a self serve buffet. We will return again with the kiddos. read more

We visit this location often because it's the one we prefer! Today we had outstanding service and food from the minute we walked in. The new manager Rosa greeted us the minute we walked in with the absolute best smile and chipper personality which you don't find often these days anymore. She had her staff on top of getting food out quickly without hesitation. Pizza Bar stayed hot and full the entire time we were there even with the rush that hit. The three guys behind the counter were hoping to it working so well as a team, talking to each other and I was so impressed!! They were all young guys again not the kind of workers you see around much anymore! They deserve a great recognition for their hard work and dedication to their job. I'm beyond impressed with the change in staff at this location and definitely looking forward to going back soon! Thank you for the great experience today and for showing up for your customers today! As a former manager in retail I was very pleased to see faith in humanity being restored! For such a long time in this world all we've done is become a custom to grumpy workers who look like they don't want to be there, no customer service what so ever and mediocre food so it was so reassuring to see this happen today. We came here for an early dinner with the family on a Tuesday night. The restaurant is located in a sizable shopping area with plenty of other stores around, and parking wasn't too bad. This spot seems to be a neighborhood favorite where families bring their kids to enjoy pizza and play in the arcade area, which has games and those claw machines that are more money traps than anything else. Unfortunately, the place seemed pretty understaffed. They were constantly running out of utensils and napkins, and we had to ask multiple times for refills. The staff didn't seem happy to be there, and it showed in their interactions. They also messed up my order, and dealing with the manager wasn't much better. Good customer service isn't something you'll find here. On the upside, the pizzas were fairly good, and they seem to keep them fresh. The mac and cheese pizza is popular, and they also offer salads and soups. The cleanliness was just okay, but with kids dropping food everywhere, it's understandable to an extent. Overall, while the prices might be appealing, the dining experience wasn't pleasant. I probably won't be back. read more

I went in about 9pm with my kids for dinner. About 9:40 we had finished eating just waiting for us to get a dessert. I was having a conversation with my daughter when this lady approached us very rude asking us to leave but there was still other people eating and there was still pizza on lane. Came in on 8/20/2020 for the first time since before the pandemic - the salad bar and pizza selections are limited - but the staff is hustling and being upbeat as ever. The place is social distancing the tables and serving everything but the drinks. The quality of the pizza may have suffered some - not that it was the best to begin with - but the quality of the service and enthusiasm of the staff keep the atmosphere good. My family and I have been going to this Cicis for over 8 years, and it was phenomenal. We don't live close but would make the drive because of how clean and the amazing service they had. Unfortunately it's been a few months that the management changed and the times we have been it's been HORRIBLE. Not just is it filthy, the dining area but also the restrooms. It smelled like sewer and the management who were there are usually just chatting and laughing while their employees work constantly trying to clean/cook and do multiple things at once. I would think that instead of chatting and visiting among themselves they would care about helping clean and keep the place from looking like a dump. We went last Sunday after my sons soccer game and there was absolutely no pizza on the buffet, we were there for 30 minutes and they only had ONE cook and ONE person trying to keep the buffet clean.... Needless to say it was a sh*t show. I hope they close down , it's a shame they stay open. read more

I don't care what people say about CiCi's, but I absolutely love their pizza. Ordered the pizza online and it was ready within 15 mins. Got to Cici's and was greeted warmly as soon as the door opened. You know the usual " Hi welcome to Cici's". Paid for my pizza, brought it to my moms house, and it was as delicious as always. I ordered a pizza from them via DoorDash. They got my whole pizza incorrectly. I asked for no sausage they put sausage on it anyway. I called them beforehand to request extra tomatoes sauce and it tasted like they didn't put tomato sauce on there at all. When I called up there to tell them my concern, the so-called manager argued back with me as if she didn't believe me. Honestly this particular location of Cicis never misses. I can't vouch for the other locations, so don't come for me, but whoever was working August 18th between 6 and 8 was in their bag okay! The pizza had cheese pull! Which buffet line you know has pizza with cheese pull? And the crust and dough was crispy. Honestly; dominos could never ! Now the adult buffet price has steadily been rising, but we not gon talk about that because we tryna keep Cicis out the unemployment line, so we'll act like we ain't notice that. Plus, Did i mention they actually serve fresh pizza. And not that weird, make the pizzas in bulk, so we can rotate out hours old pizza when we want mess. No! they make the pizza fresh to order and it tastes good..... not undercooked and nasty *cough cough* other locations I'm looking at you. Now as far as the ambiance. Listen, you get what u get. It's a kid friendly buffet okay. Howeverrrr, they do have wifi! So if you ever want to get some work done and eat some pizza on the side... I wouldn't judge you. Anyways, I just had a lovely experience. The staff was honestly amazing: the manager (he seems new, haven't seen him before) and the other employees (definitely younger but hardworking) really delivered the Cicis experience. An update to the previous review: the manager Gerry took the time to reach out and connect with me to explain the situation. This location has been in disrepair for a while on the heels of prior ownership and he has been working on resolving the issues outlined in the reviews bit by bit. It has been difficult to get contractors so it is a gradual process, but he is hopeful in making renovations over time and has been making repairs himself in the process. He was very understanding of concerns over the phone, is aware of the issues, and is working to restore the store at this time. I'm marking this with a 5 star for Gerry's communication and to spread awareness of the most recent update. read more

Gentleman at the counter was very friendly, upbeat and professional. The young lady who went around picking up tables was nice. Tables however around the restaurant were visibly dirty. the booth we got was greasy on the seats and had grease and crumbs on the table. noticed the girl was cleaning plates and large items from empty tables but not cleaning the tables. Although the dirty wet dishrag would probably make them more nasty so i think she was doing everyone a favor. The pizza was hot and fresh but the flavors were limited. two pizzas were ham and pineapple. honestly the fact pineapple on pizza exist is weird but they do. they weren't there tonight though. neither pizza was touched the whole time we were there. Two pepperonis with red sauce. one pepperoni with alfredo sauce. and one square/deep dish pepperoni. and then a pepperoni with jalapeños. so LOTS of pepperoni. i know you can request a pizza but honestly i didn't want the trouble of staying longer for a special pizza id only have a slice of. Salad bar looked unappealing. dirty. not being monitored or cleaned by staff. toppings and salad everywhere and mixed into each other. I'm still sitting in CiCis writing this review. I watched the staff pick of all the chairs from half the restaurant and place them on the tables so no one would sit there over an hour before close. There had to be 40 people still in the restaurant. It forced a family of four to get up from their seats because it was so awkward to sit at the table while someone swept and mopped around them. I got up to grab dessert and when I came back they bussed the table clean and took everything including my cup. It's a buffet so it's not like I missed out on anything but it's about the worst customer service I've seen when the staff is shutting down early on their busiest night of the week. I've been to CICis 4 times in the past decade but it will probably be another decade before I come back and it definitely won't be this location. read more

Second time I've gone in to find that they're trying to close over an hour before their posted time. Not locking the doors or anything, they just didn't have the majority of the food that you pay for available. The salad bar and pasta bar had been removed, the kitchen floor was being cleaned and half the chairs were already on tables. Then i was asked if it was ok that they only had pizza. Still charging full price of course. It's a shame really. When the manager is there it's one of the best locations around. read more

The manager was in the kitchen feeding the buffet with a variety of pies from traditional favorites to flat breads that I would never have ordered if I had not tried them on the buffet first. He even called out to the 70% capacity dining room what he was placing on the buffet every time and he did it with genuine compassion for his job. The cashier was friendly and prompt and the tables were cleaned shortly after people left. There is a reason this place is busy but not over crowded at lunch. I did no have Wait for fresh hot pizza nor did I feel the need to load up each trip for fear of not being able to get what I wanted. I will be back. read more

It was decently crowded but nothing horrible. I needed a table for 4 adults and 2 small children.... this task quickly became impossible. Any unoccupied table was dirty.... literally all of the tables without people sitting at them were dirty. finally once we crammed into a small 4 top in the corner I went up to the pizza buffet and they were pretty low on everything. I then asked for a spinach pizza to be made, and unfortunately never received notification once it was done and there was only 1 slice left when i returned. So i then ordered yet ANOTHER one and the same thing happened. The staff seemed overwhelmed and under-enthused about being there. Its Cici's Pizza so you know what the pizza is like. I like the pizza here and the price is right. Why four stars? Well they have a very friendly staff and this location is very clean. Went there today. After reading the reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect but then it turned out fine. There were a lot of big families and kids around, all seemed to have come in to have a happy and a cheerful meal. I have never been to a pizza buffet so when I came across Cici's I had to try out. For 5.99 per adult, the buffet was the cheapest one I have ever come across. There was salad - lettuce, cold pasta, pickles and a variety of dressings. The soup was not that great. It was a chicken and macaroni soup and it was not seasoned properly and had no flavour at all. The pizzas were hot and fresh! Mostly ranging between the pepperoni and the cream cheese bacon kinds. There were a few vegetarian ones, which tasted and fresh and flavourful. Desserts were apple crumble pie, brownie and cinnamon roll. I do not have a sweet tooth so I just tasted them a bit. The brownie was very dry and lacked the rich taste it should normally have. Well, for the money we paid, the frills aside, the pizzas were the real deal. The place is an open canteen kind and they are trying to keep it clean. What I did not like was the plastic plates. I haven't gone back to Cici's in a while because of the crust for the most part. I remembered every bite tasting a bit like cardboard. However, I was forced to go last week as my roommate has a serious craving for pizza and I promised to get his lunch. Well, I'm glad to say that they have made a serious improvement with the carbs. I won't say that it's on par with your favorite pizza chain, but it's getting there. The toppings are good as always and I've noticed they offer a lot more white pizzas, which is alright in my book. You'll still get your traditional pizza with pepperoni, but you no longer have to custom order a spinach, alfredo chicken or mac n cheese pizza. The staff tries to stay out of your way, but they're friendly when being approached. Great location! read more
