Andy Brown is a beautiful space, from the pond to the open fields, the sidewalk/bike path, multiple large pavilions, and fun playground. There are large, mature trees surrounding the park. We parked in the wrong lot and had to walk alongside the gym in order to get to the playground and I couldn't believe how beautiful the pathways were with all the trees and the small creek running alongside. Not what I expected from a city park! The playground itself ("Kid Country") is almost fully enclosed and is a sprawling assortment of things to climb up, swing on, and slide down. There is a play area in the toddler section with storefronts to spark pretend play. The ground is bark. There are large trees in the center of the play area that provide shade and make the play structure look more natural than your typical playground. Almost like a tree house. There are benches scattered throughout the play area and a large covered pavilion with multiple picnic tables underneath. The city of Coppell provides free WiFi there and there were multiple moms with laptops out, working, while their kids played. The only big negative is the distance from the playground to the bathroom. I understand that they probably built the bathrooms more toward the center of the park, but the wise choice would have been to also put an additional small restroom right next to the playground. It's too far of a walk for me to feel comfortable sending my younger kids over there alone and it's kind of a bummer to have to wrangle together the entire group every time one kid has to pee. Ended up going to another store that had incredible service and I now have a wonderful set up. Would NOT recommend this place and certainly wouldn't ever spend a dime here out of principle.

Finally I called him and he assured me the price would be what we discussed. In party day I got a text about 30 minutes before they would be late to the party because they were having generator issues. Ok, no problem, I understand machines can break, so I said what time do you think you will be here? I do have to entertain kids at a party after all. Once again no response. Finally I hear back they aren't going to make it because they got a new generator but the driver of the van left with the keys. I'm not sure who runs this company, but I'd guess no one is really "running" it. They offered to make it up to me some how, but after asking a way for them to do that, no response again. He's also well on his way to being able to write his letters, which is pretty impressive for a 3-year old. They practice writing all the time - I love it. He knows how to write his name. Maybe that's unimpressive to some, but I'm impressed. And pleased. The staff is caring and present. It's like a family. Any concerns we've had were addressed immediately and professionally. Excellent customer service. Jenny, the principal, is really great. She has this place running like a well-oiled machine. Our son loves it there. He's always excited to go to school. The other kids seem excited to see him. The teachers seem to genuinely like him. And we LOVE the diversity in the classroom. Kids of various Latin backgrounds, white kids, black kids, Asian kids... wonderful mix of races. We loved his first "preschool" (pre-preschool), but it was pretty much White-Bread-McWhiteyson. Trying to think of any potential complaints... hmmm... well, the parking lot is super small and sucks, so be prepared to park on the street and walk a little (not far at all). That's normal there. Not a big deal. They use glitter in some art projects, and we all know glitter is the herpes of the art world. No need to spread that stuff around... Ah! The one thing I really dislike: uniforms. Our son has all these cool shirts that people give him, that he loves, and he only gets to wear them on weekends. Why do the kids need to wear a Spanish Schoolhouse shirt everyday? Seriously? What does it accomplish? That's the one thing that drives me crazy. But since it doesn't truly affect his education or overall experience, I'm leaving this at 5 stars. But I really do hate that he has to wear a uniform and I think there's ZERO reason for it at their young age. Call it 4.5 stars because I hate the uniforms rule. Seriously, I highly, highly recommend the Coppell SSH. They've got their game together. We toured the Castle Hills SSH too, and this was notably more impressive.
