I used to frequent here during the evenings when I was a college student. The food is great for the price. The staff are respectful and serve you the desired pizza without problems. The food is always hot and available. The drinks are always cold and fresh. Their restrooms are clean. I honestly have no complaints about this location. There's a view of road connecting the highways -- always a nice view at night. There's also a large television that displays either the sports, news, and for children there's Cartoon Network. I'd advise going here, especially now since the economy is tight. I remember going here so many times one year the manager knew my name...and that's how I learned that I went somewhere too many times. read more

A better Cici's than the others I've been to. I'd say the pepperoni pizza was the best pizza there because it was usually hot and fresh from the oven. Some other pizzas were floppy and had soggy crust, which is just not my cup of tea. When I lived overseas for the last 2 years, I really missed Cici's Pizza Buffet for $5.99. I usually like to make a huge salad so that I can stuff myself with plenty of healthy green fiber which then justifies me going back for a few artery-clogging pieces of pizza. This was my first visit to a Cici's in Atlanta, but this location was dirty and disappointed me. The salad bar was quite extensive with items I usually don't see at other Cici's, such as beetroot and garbanzo beans, but then it goes downhill. The salad area was messy with sauce smeared everywhere, greasy salad dressing bottles, and serving sets with sticky handles. Some of the cheese was mixed with the olives, some of the olives were mixed with the bell peppers, some of the bell peppers were mixed with the mushrooms, etc. Totally unsanitary and unattractive! There were no clean tables to sit down and eat! Every vacant (and occupied) table had leftover food on it, scraps of paper, or grease stains. It looked like they were short-staffed and nobody was wiping them down until closing time. We found the least filthy one and noticed a table sign requesting customers bus their own trays. Really? It's sad...the variety of pizza was lacking at this location. What they called the "deep dish pizza" was really just a thick crust with a thin layer of sauce...nothing deep about it! The brownies were thin and crumbly...like sawdust squares out of a box! Towards 9:30PM, we noticed a family arguing with the manager because they had just paid for their dinner, and the restaurant was not going to make any more pizza. After they left in anger, the crew joked and laughed about them with another family who went there to scrape up the oily leftovers. The crabby employees were getting ready to close shop 30 minutes early! As we left, we noticed that unlike other Cici's, this one had no cowbell by the exit door for us to ring if we thought we had good service or enjoyed the meal. Maybe it's because the management already knew the experience would be crappy overall now that they were cutting too many corners! They certainly weren't cheerful like most other Cici's we used to enjoy. By the time we finished and got into the car, my stomach was starting to ache, and my gut did not feel well. For the next 4 days, I had abdominal cramping, prolific gas, occasional chills, and watery bowl-blasting runs. For the public's safety, the local health department or the CDC really needs to come and do an inspection! Has it really come down to this for Cici's? Well, I hope it's only this location and not a reflection of the entire chain because I like Cici's in general! One thing is for sure...we won't be coming back to this dump of a location! read more

While I realize this is a place that specializes in a $6 pizza buffet, that should not excuse them from having some sort of standards. This place didn't use to be too bad for what it was, but now each time I visit, it's always noticeably worse than the time before. Just a few observations from my last visit: - The place always seems to be dirty - Food quality continues to go downhill - Customers are now required to bus their own tables - They seem to be switching to more disposable cups, bowls, etc. - I'm not sure how it's possible, but their pizza seems to be even greasier, and not in any sort of delicious sort of way Overall everything continues to go downhill at this location. i am a huge, huge fan of pizza.. i live in boston and i always see these ads, but there aren't any cici's arond me. so i was beyond thrilled when i learned that there were cici's in the ATL! the place was really clean, and the staff was very nice as well! the pizza choices were original, there were hot sauce and sausage, tater tots, and the regular pepperoni... the cheesy bread was good too. overall, i had no complaints about anything, especially after paying only $4.89 for an all you can eat pizza buffet! read more

Perhaps my review is a bit different because I am comparing it to other CiCi's pizza around the USA. I understand this isn't the best pizza on earth but it is good, especially for an all you can eat buffet. This location is different and you can tell why. Management is constantly watching to ensure the place is clean, there consistently fresh pizza out and they will make custom pizza for you if you request. The staff even said thanks and goodbye tonight to us as we left. I can assure you that there are other locations that do not live up to these standards. I love Cici's but this location is awful. All the tables were dirty with piles of dishes and there was garbage on the floor. Not a buffet at all! There were only 1-2 slices of pizza left, dried out. No veggie, no cheese, hardly anything at all. I asked for veggie and the manager asked his employees and they looked at each other and laughed. Manager apologized and said it would be a few minutes. Don't usually post for corporate restaurants unless they are terrible and people need to be know. Ci-Ci's is a guilty pleasure. Cheap, easy, and they are open late. The food quality is average but you know that going in so I don't mark them down for that. Ci-Ci's as a company is a solid 3-4 stars for the sake of value and service. This particular location is the worst though. Through the course of several visits we keep getting more and more disappointed. Issues: One time we arrived at 9:20pm (close at 10pm) we were told that the buffet closes at 9:30pm and they only do take out after that. I do not know if that was a change in their policy but there isn't any signage stating it and I've been after 9:30. I got a very distinct impression that they just didn't want to work anymore that night. Employees being rude. I've been in customer service for a long time and I generally look the other way when people are unpersonable because being in service sucks. However, my wife and I have been really snapped several at for asking basic questions. Snapped in such a hash manner that surprised me at how angry the employees were. Finally, they always seem to be in a rush to close up and get things done at the end of the day. Understandable but they take it too far. On the last visit the unthinkable happened: I had to take a dump. First time dropping one at Ci-Ci's. The bathrooms are in terrible repair and the doors were propped open with road cones after cleaning them an hour before close. I remove the road cone so I can close the door and find the handicap stall is locked from the inside with no one in it. I move the other stall and the seat is barely attached. I sigh and sit down. Before I even get going someone busts into the bathroom and props the door open again. It is very uncomfortable to take a crap with the door wide open into the restaurant. I can't imagine anyone else enjoyed it either. read more

This CiCi's Pizza is rather small and the selection is fair. We came in the door paid for our buffet. Usually when we go yo CiCi's in Augusta,Ga we can order a custom pizza . We asked here they said "we don't do that." So basically your stuck with whatever is on the buffet. I like veggie pizza of course they had none just pepperoni, chesse,and some others. Needless to say never going back to this location. read more

This location is not as great as the one on Peachtree Parkway. The pizzas aren't as fresh and the tables need to be clean more often as well as changing the light bulb above the drink area. The brownies were flat, dry, and lacking in eggs and sugar. One of my kids seriously loves CiCi's. This kid just loves eating six slices of pizza in one sitting with no two slices being the same. He's a kid so his quality standards are nil. CiCi's is relatively inexpensive so I've indulged this love for a few years. I can't do it anymore. Today I told him we couldn't come back again. In addition to the steady decline in what little food quality it had over the last several years, they now do not even have real tea. They have one of those four flavor "tea" dispensers that serves tea flavored beverage. The four choices were green, black, southern sweet, or raspberry. I filled my cup most of the way with the unsweetened black and topped off with the southern sweet. When I tasted my "tea," I wanted to gag. It had a very strong discount, off-brand, Kool-aid raspberry taste despite the fact that I did not choose Raspberry. I tried to drink it taking a couple of more sips, but the flavor was too repulsive. I dumped it out and filled my cup, designated for paid beverages, with plain water. I could overlook a place that has no tea. I can and will drink water. The entire restaurant, however, was filthy. There was debris, food, and general gunk all over the floor especially near the beverage station. They are apparently remodeling, perhaps to celebrate going out of business soon, and the remaining walls look dingy and stained. Too many tables were not cleared and not wiped down. They do expect patrons to clear their own tables now, but ultimately it is their responsibility to see that it is done. And patrons sure as hell can not be expected to clean the tables. The area where the, now plastic, utensils are kept and the beverages are served smelled like rotting garbage. My stomach was turning before we even had our plates in hand. Fortunately, the kids chose a table far from beverage service and the smell was not noticeable there. Unfortunately, I had to use the restroom after our meal. That meant walking through the filth and stench near the beverage area to the restroom. The restroom, though not visibly dirty, smelled like an open sewer and cloyingly sweet air freshener. I had to struggle not to throw up while hurrying to finish, rapidly wash my hands, and get the hell out of there. I really, really regret letting my kids eat there today. I fear that one or both of them will get sick in the next 24 hours. Now, I'm off to research alternative pizza places in attempt to appease my Pizza Buffet Kid. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER! Being this is my first time here I did not enjoy anything about this place. The cashier cheated me out of my money which struck a nerve then the food was partially cooked and the employee left a stinky ass garbage can right in the middle of the aisle where people was sitting and eating. Then I asked to speak with a manager and explained to her why I wasn't enjoying my experience and she had the nerve to say don't try to steal a refund. Now my attitude went from irritated to beyond pissed off like who in their right mind as a manager handle the situation like this. Very unprofessional and I will not be dining here EVER!!! Delicious of course if ur Into quantity over quality but pizza is increasingly smaller and greasier. Salad bar is limited and the experience of the buffet has been made boring.
