I was dragged back here with a friend who had heard good things. I warned her, but we went anyway. Our food was mediocre at best. Even my friend was disappointed. We were seated near the counter and the staff were speaking so loudly and laughing that we could barely have a conversation. This was my first time going to Cida Thai, and I thought it was great. The food was great, inexpensive, and good service. I had gotten the Lard Nar with shrimp. It was really good. My brother had the barbecue pork fried rice. My father got the Pad Thai with shrimp. And my mother got Beef pad sei ew which was the best from what we all got. It was delicious. For dessert my brother and I got vanilla ice cream and my parents got fried banana with honey. They were both good. The service was good and the restaurant was a bit small, but still able to fit a good amount of people. When we got there it wasn't jay busy, but later on in the night, it got more crowded and some people had to wait. The place looks nice and for the ones who like to draw, there is paper and crayons for you. Overall, Cida Thai is great and I would recommend it to you. read more

I can't count the many times I've been here. I was there tonight in fact and had the tofu pad woonson, my favorite entree there. Luckily I have about half my dinner for left overs tomorrow- can't wait. It's that kinda restaurant. It's such an unassuming place from the outside but it was PACKED tonight and while we had to wait for a table, we didn't have to wait very long. They pack in a lot of tables into a relatively small dining room but it's not cramped, it just feels cozy. One of the best things about Cida Thai is that it's BYOB and there's no corkage fee. This restaurant has had years and years of business from me, my family, and my friends but I'm not sure we'll be going back again any time soon. We ordered takeout for the first time in a while, we normally love sitting in the restaurant because the atmosphere is wonderful and the food is good but it's Mother's Day and our dog is sick. We ordered the food, and waited to go pick it up. I waited in the restaurant for ten minutes after the told me it would be ready, and I was getting a little impatient. They brought me my food and I went on my way, ready to eat some good Thai when I got home. When I arrived home and took out my food, I saw that they prepared two of my family members meals wrong. This isn't a big deal, there wasn't a problem with allergies or anything but it was frustrating that when I called they were rude and said the mistake was on my part. read more

I went on an office run so we ordered three very different meals and all were blah. Also, I ordered something they told me it was $9.99 and when I went to pick it up they changed it to $13.99. Tired and on a time limit, I didn't feel like arguing with the girl I was already having communication problems with on a polite level. The food was very meh, it's not worth what you pay for it. Their spring rolls looked like spongy squishy mini soft tacos. Also, the chicken teriyaki I got was bland and a bit dry. I love this place, I've been going here for 10 years. I normally just order carry out. Usually the food is ready within 15 minutes. I ordered yesterday (Mother's Day) and they explained the wait would be 45 minutes. I went in to pick up the food but I had to wait a little bit. The staff were very busy running around accommodating guests and apologetic for the wait. Super nice staff. The food was really good! I always get the chicken satay with peanut dipping sauce and chicken padwoonsen. The only negative is parking is limited in front. Best Thai food in the area. read more

First visit to this Thai restaurant. Very nice atmosphere. Ordered Shumai appetizer and basil chicken. Shumai was ok. Basil chicken was very light on chicken and the sauce it was in was very watery and salty. I only ate just a little and told the server the dish was not very good. Ordered for pick up. Very little meat in all dishes except the chicken teriyaki. When I called the restaurant I was told by the owner that there is very little meat because their prices are low. I have been coming here with my parents for the past 4 years now. I am in love with the Cida Curry Chicken. It is spicy with chicken potato and cauliflower(Likes a soup).... so GOOD! Also if you come here you have to try the crab rangoo. I swear to god it is so good!!! Small, clean, owner always present and the food is special. The portions are smaller (but proportionately lower priced) than many other places. But how elegant not to be given a serving dish of food like an American pig. I especially like the Larb Kai and ask for it HOT - not for the faint of heart.
