I love their carne asada quesadilla and also their breakfast burritos; it happened that they are on a promotion: buy one and get one free What a great value for their food quality

They Deliver too!! (inside Beverly Center)

The Best SURF N TURF BURRITO, an INSAANEE Chorizo Burrito, and they also have the best agua fresca I have ever had no exaggeration. They make it PERFECT!!!!! And they always have 4+ flavors or so. It is inside of a gas station but don't let that fool you for how good their quality is. Chef Adolfo is CRUSHING IT !! They even have a delivery service now that says they deliver ANYWHERE, and they delivered our food to the Beverly Center !! INSIDE!!

I've heard so much about this place and had to try the surf and turf burrito but was surprised on how expensive the burritos were. First of all it's located in a gas station so it makes you kinda second guess the choice but the burrito was absolutely delicious. The issue was the service, when I got to the counter I was not greeted at all. Since you could order from the kiosk I chose to do that since it didn't seem like she was ready to take orders although there was no one else ordering but me. There's lots of seating inside so that's a plus too.

I called 2 min before closing and the gentleman on the phone stated I can come and order. When I walked inside it was 11pm already and he took my order without any complaints. The grill was off and they fired it back up to get my last order in. They have always had great food, trust me I don't eat gas station tacos but it's a must try!

It has been a number of years since I have been here, so I decided to give it a try again. First of all $18.62 for one burrito!!! We are talking about a hole in the wall, gas station eatery, not El Torito, Black Angus, or even the Cheesecake Factory, but yet the prices are as high as those fine establishments. Nevertheless, I was expecting something grandiose, but what I received was the complete opposite. It was not a mucho grande burrito, but a burrito pequeno! AND, the burrito was filled with lots of rice and very limited on their steak. In fact, I have never have felt so ripped off on the portion of my steak, in my entire life for any burrito I have ordered. Steak burritos are my favorite food of all time. Mark my words on this, the amount of meat in that burrito was a third of what any taco cart offers on the street... no exaggeration one third the amount for twice the price... that just doesn't make sense! How is this place even still open!? My guess is, it is the Emperor's New Clothes mentality. Also, they give you these side chips with your burrito, which are the most nastiest chips I have ever had in my entire life ... absolutely disgusting! I have definitely stepped my last foot in this "restaurant!"

I had been seeing this place all over TikTok and Instagram, so I finally decided to try it. It is a taco spot inside a gas station in North Hollywood, which threw me off at first, but the hype was real. I came with my best friend and we both loved the food. The quality of the food was actually really good. Pricing was great and there was some seating available. Overall it was a really pleasant experience and definitely worth the hype. I would absolutely come back!!

When you think of gas stations, you probably don't equate that with great Mexican food and some of the best burritos in the city... enter Cilantro Mexican Grill located within a Chevron gas station in North Hollywood. I guess it's not the craziest thing since I've been told on more than one occasion that some of the best BBQ in the south is located at gas stations. This spot works like a fast casual type spot where you go up to the counter and order and wait for them to call out your name. There's some seating inside along with a DIY condiments/salsa/toppings bar. This place first popped up on my radar because some friends got together and got breakfast burritos from all around town - we sliced them up as best as we could to compare as many as we could...then I noticed this same spot pop up on IG from some folks I follow. I knew I had to go at some point. The opportunity presented itself when I had to be in North Hollywood for a friend's birthday. I ordered the Surf And Turf Burrito. It's technically not on menu, but it's considered one of their most popular items and it's essentially their carne asada burrito with a healthy portion of shrimp (along with a sauce more suited to the shrimp). At $21.99 (as of 4/25), it's not a cheap burrito, but it's huge and there is lots of shrimp and steak, so it honestly feels like a good value and could totally be two meals. When I first unwrapped it, my original plan was to eat only half. I made the mistake coming in hungry and it was just that tasty, so I ended up eating the whole thing in one sitting. Everything was really well prepared and the steak had a great marinade. Just a really great burrito. Lots of the other items looked really good as well. I guess I'm going to have to come back at some point to try more items on the menu! Just tasting the flavors from the burrito I ordered, I can only imagine how good everything else is. Parking could be tough. There's only handful of spots on the lot (it is a gas station). There's street parking nearby, but be prepared to walk if needed. I was lucky I was able to squeeze into a spot, but the carwash line wraps around and depending on how busy it is and how logical the people waiting in line are, there's a chance you may get stuck in the spot for a while.

Got this delivered. What a gem. So far we've tried the California burrito, bacon breakfast burrito and the carne asada burrito. Very flavorful. Nice you complimentary seasoned chips on the side too.

Quesadilla w/ Meat. It looked great but i wouldnt know. ;(

I'll preface, I did a doordash on this place. I looked up some youtube food reviews, wanted to avoid the Halloween crowd after a long week and pulled the trigger ordering after work. This place is sneaky good. Salsa is top notch and if you like spicy there's no hidden innuendo here, they bring the heat. Found myself actually sweating with the hot which is rare for me. I ordered a Caliente Burrito with shrimp, even in this day and age of high inflation a good amount of shrimp in there. The shrimp was not only seasoned but obviously cooked in a seasoned red sauce which really hit the spot and made the burrito slightly wet. Chips are seasoned with some salt and paprika, might not be everyone's steeze but I thought it was a great touch. My wife had a quesdilla which I couldn't actually try (I glanced hard and no offer was made, i got the hint) but it looked fantastic. Overall this place is very good, the one thing I will say is the guacamole. As good as the salsas and food were, I expected the guacamole to hit. When you yourself are adding salt to your own guac, there is a breakdown somewhere. It had chopped tomatoes but needs cilantro and/or onions at a minimum. I recommend this place and no doubt will try it again.

    1st time trying

I just don't know what happened here. The 1st time I came here I ordered online and was amazed at the quality and portion of the carne asada burrito. Sure it was almost $20 for a burrito but I was happy to pay. 2nd time I came here the burrito was very skimp and bare. I felt robbed and disrespected, truly. I bought 2 burritos and both were the same.. it just seemed intentional to me. I have pictures of the 2 separate visits. 1st pic 1st visit & 2nd pic 2nd visit.

    Sides bar

Papa's and Bear was too crowded so we found this place as alternative for Mexican food. Turns out its located inside a gas station. It was very busy with both eat in and take out orders. Thats a good sign. Ordered the Surf and Turf burrito, along with chips and salsa and a watermelon aqua freshcas. They also have some sides you can self serve with aluminum foil they provide. All in all , good food that was made fresh and quickly. They have some tables inside for people eating in.

Breakfast Burrito was pretty good! Got it with Barbacoa. Would love if it game with a chipotle aioli or some other sauce besides salsa.

Like, the kind of service where you actually feel welcomed and not rushed or awkward for asking questions. The staff was super patient and took the time to really explain the menu and walk me through all the different spice levels, which I appreciated so much. I had questions about the menu and especially about the spice levels, and instead of rushing me or giving short answers, they took the time to fully explain everything. They broke down what each heat level feels like, how intense it is, and even gave honest recommendations depending on spice tolerance. You could tell they actually care about making sure customers enjoy their food, not just pushing orders out. I ended up ordering the Kluckin Tenders and decided to go all in by trying every spice level they offer: No Heat, Kluckin Mild, Kluckin Hot, and Kluckin Fire. Starting with No Heat, i tried the og tender to see how it was alone without any spice because I'm quite the chicken tender connoisseur haha. I was honestly surprised by how flavorful it still was. The tenders were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned really well. Even without spice, nothing tasted bland or boring, which says a lot about the quality of the chicken and seasoning. Kluckin Mild was a nice step up. It had some heat, enough to let you know it's there without being overpowering. This felt like a perfect everyday option -- flavorful, balanced, and very easy to enjoy. Kluckin Hot is where the heat really starts to kick in. It definitely made me slow down, but I loved that the flavor was still there. It wasn't just spicy for the sake of being spicy. You could still taste the seasoning and the chicken, which is something a lot of places get wrong. And then there's Kluckin Fire. This one is no joke. It looks like it would absolutely obliterate my taste buds. It definitely looks scarier than it is! The heat builds fast and lingers, and the staff definitely wasn't exaggerating when they warned me about it! That being said, it's still well made. This flavor actually ended up being my favorite! If you're someone who actually enjoys serious spice, you'll appreciate this level. It's intense, but it feels intentional. I also have to talk about the sides! The coleslaw was actually really good. Fresh, super crunchy, and well balanced. Not overly mayo-heavy or soggy like a lot of places do it. It had just the right amount of creaminess that helped cool things down between bites, especially when working my way through the hotter spice levels. It paired perfectly with the tenders and was honestly a lifesaver once I got to Kluckin Hot and Kluckin Fire. The crinkle cut fries were another highlight. Super crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The crinkle cut shape made them extra satisfying, and they held up really well even as I took my time eating. They weren't greasy or limp at all! Which is always a plus. Dipping them in their kluckin sauce was so addictive. (Absolutely must have this with your meal here) Seriously, can we please bottle this sauce?! Overall, this place just does everything right. Great food, real spice options, and customer service that makes you want to come back. It's rare to find a spot where the staff is both knowledgeable and genuinely kind, and it makes a huge difference. If you're a hot chicken fan or someone who likes exploring different spice levels, this place is absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be coming back and already recommending it to friends. Thanks so much for having me!!
