We have been waiting to come here and our kitchen was being worked on so it gave us a full-on excuse (like I need one) to come over for dinner. The parking lot was full but we found a spot and went into this nice and cute eatery. There was a 15-minute wait, but they got us to a table in 10 and our server, Ava, was an absolute delight and made the evening much more fun. I took the advice of my local Yelp friend, Lindsay, and we started out with the onion rings with the champagne sauce and she was right they were soooo good (thanks Lindsay...!). We ordered a couple of beers to go with the meal and decided on what we wanted. For me the choice was easy with a Reuben on the menu, I judge a place by the Reuben and this one did not disappoint in any way with the corned beef tender and flavorful on marbled rye with the right amount of sauerkraut. I choose as a side the Santorini Fries which were not fries really but potato curls I guess for lack of a better description. They have feta cheese on them, with a little mint and honey....YUMMY. The fam-bam decided to go with other items, my son got the Nutter Butter burger (American Cheese, Candied Bacon, Bread & Butter Pickles, spicy chipotle peanut butter) which he said was very good and different, and my wife the garbanzo bean burger which she remarked how she loved places that make their own veggie burgers instead of just getting a Beyond Beef patty. A friend had recommended this place. We all enjoyed our food. The morning after was not as tasty as it sounded according to my daughter. Everyone else's was what was expected. The hot chips were nice and crispy. Told the fries were excellent, didn't need ketchup. The waiter was prompt in taking our order. The food came out very fast considering how busy they were. When we first entered the establishment, felt a little disappointed with the 94.7 Sanitation Rating. I know that 90 and above are considered good, but I'm just used to seeing 97 and above. The interior's very cool. It's artsy and eclectic. Enjoyed looking at all the pictures. Our server, Ana, was very friendly and attentive. We didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. I had the Reuben with Caesar salad. Greens were fresh and plenty of shaved Parmesan cheese on top. I love my Parmesan cheese! Lol! I also had a glass of Malbec, which was not bad. Would I come back? I've actually been to Cin Cin several times, but for some reason have not reviewed it until now, and I gotta say I am not entirely sure why. Each time, the food has been good to great, and the service has been the same. Well, that ends today as I type this out, because my most recent experience may have been the best of the bunch. I met up with a friend for lunch on a rainy day, and the restaurant was probably around half full. We were given a table near a window and began perusing the extensive menu. I was feeling pretty hungry, and love me some fried pickles, so we ordered a round of those before putting in our burger orders. Firstly, one of the things I am noticing from other reviews is that many are pleased with the food, but not always the service. On our visit, our server was very attentive, and even went back to ask the chef when we had a question about a particular item. This diligence and his friendliness makes me embarrassed I can't remember his name right now, but needless to say, we were thrilled with his abilities and attention. Our pickle chips arrived with plenty of time to enjoy them before our burgers, and they were very well done. Breading not too thick, good balance of that pickle flavor and the batter. Sometimes pickle chips have too thin a pickle, these were right on. Our burgers arrived, and I had gone with the "Juice Joint Dipper" and house hot chips. It would have been impossible for me to leave hungry between this monster burger and all those chips, let me tell you. The burger was great to look at, and even better to bite into. It features a thick patty, gruyere cheese, onion rings, caramelized onions, garlic aioli, and a au jus for dipping. It was everything a lover of french onion soup could ask for in a burger. Delicious. The hot chips were so great in number, and perfectly crispy, I could not finish them all. Overall, I consistently have great meals here. Super great place for brunch! We were able to get the Saturday mimosa deal ($20/ pitcher of mimosas) and it was great! They keep the champagne in the bottle at the table with a pitcher of orange juice so you can decide your ratio of juice to champagne. For $55 we had two of the worst cheeseburgers and two of the worse milkshakes ever. The milkshakes were $10 each! $10!!! The burgers were lukewarm when our order was served and missing the bacon we requested. The milkshakes consisted of soupy soft serve ice cream that had melted down. The meat had little to no seasoning. The pictures on this platform are fabulous, but what is shown in pictures leaves much to be desired in a comparable dining experience. I would venture to guess the 5/5 ratings for this restaurant were from folks who have not experienced the real deal. However, we do respect to each his own palate. All we know is the food is overpriced and less than average, at best. The waitress was great and very sympathetic, but the food was mediocre. A manager came by and asked what was wrong. She listened intently and that was it - didn't make the food taste a bit better. The fries were tasty and the best part of the meal. It's been years since I late ate at Cin Cin. Saturday night was pretty busy which is typical. Waited between 30-45 minutes. Staff were friendly at the host table. Waiter was prompt as soon as I was seated to take my drink order. Then later my meal order. I got the day after burger and a side of Mac and cheese and requested to have it prior to the burger. Food came out quickly....Mac and cheese was very tasty and creamy. Burger was good well with delicious fresh ingredients. Fries were pipping hot which I love and the side of ranch was a delicious addition. I was very grateful that try waiter informed there was a uo charge for the ranch dressing. Cin Cin is a win win! Friends and I went here for dinner and honestly is was a great experience they're food is consistently good and in a fun atmosphere. We ordered a variety of food that was all VERY good. It's American food, with a twist, done well. Our server was also very sweet and attentive - we loved her. Fried pickles were exactly what you want from a fried pickle - savory, hot and crispy. If you haven't had the Pierogis and like onions - GET THEM! I was pleasantly surprised at how soft they were and how much the onions added. They were the highlight for me. We ordered a variety of burgers. My 4 star review comes from my dish (the no money - no honey burger) and that the bun wasn't super fresh or soft (it was kind of dry and hard) and from the broccoli being just frozen broccoli steamed with huge chunks of garlic. I used to eat at Cin Cin often when I worked close by. My favorite was the steak salad, or the breakfast burger. The flapper fries were also always on point. My most recent visit involved take out. Maybe it's better to eat there. My flapper fries were not cooked all the way. The rodeo burger was extra greasy. The ranch dressing for the salad tasted like they may have changed it up. My precious visits were always good, but inconsistency will drop a rating for me. read more

We dined at Cin Cin Burger Bar on a Monday evening, with no issues getting a table. The dining area is nice and spacious, with a mild speakeasy theme. The booths looked fun, but unfortunately we were seated at a regular table. Each of our backless chairs (just why?) ranged from lightly wobbly to "this would probably break under a heavier set person" wobbly. Our waitress was...not very present. I guess since Cin Cin automaticlaly applies a 2.75% "operational fee" to each check, they feel less encouraged to provide adequate service? We ordered the Big Boss Mozzarella sticks appetizer, Juice Joint Dipper burger, and Peach Cobbler dessert. The mozzarella sticks were perfect. The burger though was pretty bland. I tasted very little of the garlic aioli; it was too dependent on the au jus for any flavor. The peach cobbler was plated in one of the worst possible choices: a small jar. Just touching the ice cream causes it to spill over the edges. It's almost impossible to get an even bite of ice cream + crust + peaches. There's a surprising selection of great restaurants in Winston-Salem, and I found Cin Cin Burger Bar to be utterly unremarkable. read more

Magnificent. The Sliders are top tier, with all kinds of fun combinations. I really hope they're paying the employees well here, because WOW do they go the extra mile. Ryn helped me make decisions and offered sincere recommendations based on their experiences. Even staff that didn't serve us were super friendly and shared extra info when they caught me eyeing a passing birthday shake. All around this was a great place to bring my wife and the in-laws. This is an establishment that welcomes everyone and provides a quality, comfortable atmosphere that all can enjoy. To the management/executives: keep these employees at all costs. I'm leaving a 4 star review because while the food was pretty good, our server was not helpful and management was in such a rush to move through the restaurant it was a bit stressful. I have gluten issues and there was not much on the menu to choose from. I picked the portobello mushroom from the craft your own list.... I had the mushroom filled with pimentos cheese with arugula and pickled onions. That was delicious. I also had a side of coleslaw. The coleslaw that arrived was enough to more than feed our party of 3. My great grandmother made less for Thanksgiving with the whole family! Needless to say, it was way too much. Not bad but not the best or close to it. I have been searching for a flame grilled burger not Skillet but I am lucking out in Winston on that hunt. But Cin Cin actually puts seasoning on their burgers which works for me. It was not overly seasoned but had the right amount to taste. The French fries helped bring in the flavor as well. The burgers are like 7oz they are nice size. I got the Mac n cheese as my side which also was not bad, which normal is disgusting as most restaurants but this was cool. As usual, I went to my favorite burger place. However, I discovered something unsanitary this past week. In addition, they no longer sell real beef burgers, but rather frozen patties that have not been seasoned with the traditional flavors for which they are known. Starting with the sanitation issue that I noticed. In the photographs attached, you can see the cleaning solution container right next to the pitcher of drinks that they refill for customers. I'm not a sanitation specialist, but I believe this is a violation. One of the other photos shows the bucket used to store dishes from cleaning tables, which is located beneath the same table where the customer drinks. This pan is dirty, but it is still being used. The problem is that they appear to be very comfortable doing so without educating their employees on sanitation. As you can see, this is not an error because the person cleaning the tables keeps putting it on the same table, and the waiters keep obtaining drinks and returning to the same table with no one addressing the problem. The worker uses a chemical solution to clean the table, but instead of washing his hands, he also places silverware and napkins on the table. I've noticed that one of the management staff, a taller woman with dark hair and glasses, is hostile and may approach your table to remove plates without greeting or asking how things are. The shorter lady greets guests with a smile and ensures they receive what they ordered correctly. read more

Cin Cin has a really great menu with lots of unique sides and small plates and more vegan/vegetarian options than most places. I chose to basically get a bunch of apps because many of them called to me. I got the reuben croquets, pierogies, fried shrimp and the Saganaki cheese. That last one was very cool and novel, but wasn't actually all that tasty and the pierogies were a bit disappointing- they were basically Mrs. T's with some onion rings on top. I know that home made pierogies would probably be a lot to ask at this price point, but when I saw it on the menu, it set up that expectation. The croquettes and the shrimp were great though and the butter beer float was delicious. The cocktails were really good too. They did seem understaffed, and we did have to wait quite a bit to get served. I would probably try this place again and explore more of their menu options. read more

I came to CinCin on a Monday night. The parking and wait were much more manageable than I expected. We had a large party which they handled very well. Everyone got what they ordered and everyone got it at the same time. I ate too much and that's on me so I'm not going to take it out on the food. I think next time I go I would want to order a plate of just the sides. I mean I know fried food is good but I loved EVERYTHING. I would have loved if the Mac and cheese had more breadcrumbs for an added crunch. The burgers were unfortunately not the shining star of the burger bar. Me and my significant other decided to try out CIN CIN for date night and boy, what a great decision that was. This place is super nice inside, really friendly staff and the food is amazing. For an app we tried the Southwest Egg Rolls and they were very good. It came with a pepper jelly that was not overwhelming in spice but added to it perfectly. I went with a trio of sliders. Burgers were not cooked to a preference of temp due to the size, but were very filling. Bigger than most sliders you will get. With barely any room for desert, we had to try their milkshakes. My wife and I stopped in here for drinks and apps after a day in Winston Salem. The place was fine, but nothing special. We weren't hungry enough to get any burgers, so I can't comment on them, but we got the hummus, trio and it was very average. All three versions of hummus were the same, with different toppings. The flavor was good, but it tasted a bit old and was quite chalky. The beer and wine selection was fine, but nothing to write home about. Our server/bartender was very nice, When she visited us, but the three people working behind the bar spent far too much time, talking to each other, and not enough time checking on guests. Many of the people in there seemed like locals, so it might be better than what we experienced while on our visit, but overall, we were not impressed. I may return in the future, but it's not likely. I have been coming to Cin Cin now for over 6 yrs and I can say that it's been a hit almost every time! Their appetizers are delicious, their burgers are phenomenal, and if you are looking for fun "over the top" milkshakes this is the spot! I have always had very friendly waiters that take accurate orders and bring food out quickly and while hot. And the speakeasy/bar decor makes this an overall great spot to keep coming back for a meal! Truly I wish I could give 4.5 stars but no half stars on Yelp‍.
