This location had an increase of dine & dashers in the previous years and as a result, they charge you before your food comes. Not a problem. My problem is with being charged 20% gratuity that shows up in my transactions, but not on the receipt. We are made aware that a party of 6+ will automatically be charged 18%. I, one person, was automatically charged 20%, that I would've given on my own by the way, and it was wiped from my receipt. I understand paying before we are served, but we as customers deserve to tip as WE see fit, not as they see fit. I still tipped $5 just in case of the off chance that it was a mistake, or that it went to someone other than my server. I've loved this place over the years but there are better places that deserve gratuity, and that would allow me to make that decision on my own. read more

This place is so close to home and we always said we wanted to try this place out. They had an interesting cocktail menu and a very I treating way to order seafood here. You pick your seafood, then your flavor, then your spice level. Such a fun and cool concept! I had the crab and crawfish and the Cajun seasoning is an absolute must try. IMO, NONE of the, now ubiquitous, crab shacks in this town deserve 5 stars. But, of all the crab boil joints in Toledo, Cincy Crab is probably the best, and I grade on a normal curve. Therefore, 5 stars!! Maybe it was just that the spirit of Christmas Eve blessed us with good fortune, but everyone in my family had a very positive experience. The wife is VERY picky when it comes to her seafood. Even so, she thought her shrimp cocktail and raw oysters (on the half shell) were excellent. She was seriously surprised by how fresh they were, in both taste and texture. She also had the scallops, Cajun boiled, medium. Her only complaint, as well as mine, is that all of the boil formulations use too much butter (soy butter actually), and butter flavor comes through. Too much. It's much like getting wings with mild sauce...you think you're going to drown in butter. I'm not into the whole "boil scene," not outside of Arcadiana, anyway. So, I ordered Cajun fried rice with sausage. Although the rice was a bit dry, in general, I was quite pleased. The dish was surprisingly tasty! Who cares what the kids got. They ordered some messy, hoty, buttery, seafoody, boily things. They were happy. Beer selection? Not great. But, when I'm eating things that are especially hot, I'm perfectly content with a light domestic lager...specifically, Coors light, baby! Special shout out to our waiter, Tracy. Finally made it to Cincy Crab and I'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner. Simply wow! This place is amazing. The staff are friendly, welcoming, & help you with any questions. Nicely decorated and clean. Our server, Anahi, was great! Food was hot, delicious, & not overcooked as can sometimes be the case with seafood boil restaurants. But not Cincy Crab. They do it right! We ordered; snow crab, head off shrimp, scallops, garlic butter & Cajun seasoning without spice & EVERYTHING was delicious!! Oh and the drinks.... Yummy!! We had the peach mojito & the Crab Claw. Manger doesn't greet customers and also doesn't help his staff knowing the restaurant needs more help! The restaurant has a pay first policy! (It takes the waiters about 10-15 minutes to come back and take your payment) We sat at the bar yesterday hoping to get some margaritas! We never thought sitting at the bar ment gratuity won't be added even tho it shouldn't because you're at the bar! I walked in and was seated immediately. My waitress was nice and provided explanations to any questions. I got 1 pound of shrimp and a lobster tail, which came with corn and potatoes. This restaurant reuses old grease and seasoning for meal preparation, and my order of a bagged crab leg meal had all the old grease and overload of mushy seasoning mixed with my food that caused me to feel sick when I tried eating. The manager did nothing about the issue. read more

Dropped in on a Friday night. The place wasn't busy at all. They seemed to be limited in their wait staff however our waitress did very well given how many tables she had. They also have Dungeness crab, and snow crab legs! They steam seafood dishes in a bag with your desired spices, I prefer just plain garlic butter non spicy, but they have various options. Plus, steamed seafood bags come with corn and potatoes. The waiter will mix the bag and dump it on your plate right in front of you, and give you gloves and a bib. I ordered from here for the first time. I ordered the Family Combo #1. Seasoning I ordered was garlic and butter. No spice. It was excellent!! Large chunks of garlic. The corn in the cob was tender, the red potatoes were cooked perfectly. The snow crab legs were really good and it was loaded with shrimp. I recommend using the gloves they provide lol and the bib as well because of all the delicious butter it's served in. You will need to transfer it to a bowl or container if you order it for pick up (like I did) because it's served in a heavy duty plastic bag :-) I will definitely order from here again read more

The place was pretty busy on a Sunday late afternoon so apparently somebody likes it. But my partner and my opinions are that it sucks! We got the snow crab and some shrimp. All you could taste was garlic, enough to kill a vampire! It was terrible. Also, it took almost 20 minutes just to get a waiter. We got water for our drinks and that took almost 15 minutes which is okay but once we got our food it didn't even come with napkins.
