    Stuffed salmon

I walked in after a long day for an early dinner. Hostesses were nice, asked about my day and learned it was my first time there. This restaurant is huge, so I thought I'd get overlooked but the service was awesome. There are so many great choices and the server helped me choose because I was struggling. The dish I got, stuffed salmon, was fresh and cooked to perfection. I almost went back the second night I was in town as a fellow traveler told me I must try the crabcakes. I will next time for sure! Anyway, it was a perfect spot to unwind, eat well and enjoy.

My co-worker took me here for a late lunch/early dinner when I was visiting the Toledo area. It wasn't busy at all so we got seated right away and were able to pick the section that we wanted to dine in. We chose the patio area that was not quite outside but we were able to see the river from there and it was more of a casual area. It was a little too windy and drizzling outside, so it was a good choice. Just came for appetizers and drinks as we already ate not too long ago but needed to kill some time before I headed back to my hotel. The calamari was ok. It was a little on the gummy side of consistency and not as crisp as I am used to. The crab cakes were great though! So definitely recommend that. Don't think I've ever had crab cakes other than the fried style so this was a nice change with the glaze on top. Our server was really sweet and came to check in on us regularly. The mule I had was nice and refreshing, especially at the end of a work day after talking to clients. Would love to come back to this restaurant next time I am in town and try their entrees.

Overall 10/10 experience. From the moment we walked in our server Savanah was very warm and welcoming. My husband loves a good martini with blue cheese olives so when he saw the goat cheese olive he had to have it, so much so he had two. The bartender came to our table and explained how he came up with the cocktails and how he made it which was a pleasant and welcomed surprise. I got the silk tide which was a mix of mango and vodka. It was heavenly and creamy without the dairy. I also had two.... We've been here a few times and our go to appetizer is always the tuna tartar. It's consistently delicious. The crispy rice adds a nice crunch to the soft tuna and the sauce ties it in well together The swordfish topped with avocado was well cooked, juicy and extremely flavorful. The walleye was extremely fresh, the breading added a nice crisp. Adding a squeeze of lemon took the dish to the next level Overall the food was very well presented, so much so we had to take a bite before our actual picture The overall vibe was very comfortable. Classy but not stuffy. We felt like we had an elevated experience but not quite fine dining. Also side note bonus, we love the iPad menu that has pictures of all the food so we have a better idea of what we're getting. Half of eating is visual for us!

Here for the Oyster Shellabration. The fried oysters were delicious. Not impressed with the Oyster Rockefeller. The smoked Oyster Gumbo was delicious. Had the Tuna Tartare. 5 stars!!! My only issue was they did not clear the empty dishes from our table til the end. Ate our meals with dirty dishes from the appetizers. 5 stars for food, 3stars for the service

My wife's and i's favorite place to dine. Service is great from the moment you get greeted at the concierge counter. To the walk to the table for where you're seated at. To the waitress being on point while also being friendly & knowledgeable. The food is also great. We've never had a bad meal. The ambience is very pleasing to fine dining.

Real Seafood offers a Birthday Discount making it very affordable for a nice meal at the Docks on the Maumee River. We went on a Monday evening, which was perfect because The Docks weren't all that busy. Win-win! The service was very good and the food was equally as good. We don't get an opportunity to go to Real Seafood very frequently, so this was a welcomed treat. I enjoy the interior decor - moderately elegant in a marine stylish vibe. I also like their fireplace in the center of the dining area. Like I had mentioned previously, if you are looking for a treat on your birthday, go to Real Seafood. It's an affordable splurge!

Overall a great selection and variety on the menu with a great emphasis on seafood. Service was lovely. Food was good, though I found many things to be under seasoned. Oysters were incredible. Overall, a very affordable and wonderful experience. Can't wait to come back in the summer time for the waterfront views.

Thursday dinner reservation. It was not busy at all. Probably not needed to make a reservation. They had three different kinds of fresh oysters. As I am not sure which oysters to choose, got all three 4 each. One fresh oyster was $3.99 (12/12/2024) and they were so tiny. Dozen for $47.88... never again. Not worth it... I was very disappointed as some of them barely had anything on the shell. Calamari with Sauteed Peppers $16.99 (12/12/2024). Tasty but portion was nowhere close to the picture on their website. Calamri was thin and timy, mostly chewing on breading. For the main, I got Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass $43.99 (12/12/2024). Chilean sea bass itself was tender but a bit too salty to the point that sauce on the plate would be too much on it. I ended up not having the sauce. Service was a little too much. We wanted time to ourselves but the server kept coming asking questions, talking too much, etc. when we did not want that. Possibly because restaurant was not too busy... Overall, know what to order from the menu, definitely not recommend fresh oysters, as it feels like price of the food mostly is from the atmosphere/service of the restaurant rather than quality/portion of the food.

Came here from out of town for a friends birthday- overall was good! we did have a party of 10 so it took quite a while between sitting down and eating. We were there for just under 3 hours. Highlights to note: the bread, best restaurant bread I've ever had. I got the filet and i know this is uncommon but requested mid well, it definitely was more medium. Very fresh in the middle. Felt bad but the waiter noticed and sent it back. (The manager came over and apologized, they put my filet back on, and when they brought my steak back they did give me fresh hot sides which i thought was great) i will say my steak was then well done when it came back but beggars cant be choosers. Had a variety of cocktails, all very tasty. Brussels sprouts were good to start us off. Crab cakes were the biggest hit at our table. I would be back but only for special occasions due to the price. Service was ok- seemed like our waiter knew his stuff but nothing the write home about. Good atmosphere for a celebration. Best thing was the tablet to see the menu with photos- haven't seen another place like that. Worth the price? Ehhh. Food was mid, atmosphere was better.

I stopped here to have a selfcare moment before caring for a friend. The food and the service were spectacular. It was after lunchtime but before dinner so it was actually really quiet. It's a beautiful place to dine overlooking the river. The portion was perfect and the taste was everything I needed it to be.

Dinner with co workers. I had a New York Strip steak, asparagus, grilled shrimp, and a house salad. Co workers had seafood. Beautiful clean restaurant. Great service. My meal was good , nothing great.

Cedar Plank Salmon was incredibly delicious.
    Terrance S.

Everything was delicious. We both tried the salmon, as well as clam chowder , gluten free pasta, broccoli, and asparagus. The bread and butter is addictive, so stay away if you're trying to watch your figure. But everything else was truly on point. Staff was very welcoming, attentive, and responsive. Great location right on the water, and amazing view of the river. Must visit spot while in Toledo.

Ambiance was dark- like a bar-type of atmosphere- which didn't matter because it was an overcast day in Ohio. It was also more of a sports var as there were lots of TV screens. I ordered a chicken caprese sandwich after being assured by my server that it was one of her favorites. It came with delicious French Fries. The sandwich was good but not amazing. For my taste, the chicken was a bit overcooked, but better than undercooked. The fries were delicious, even though I only ate a few. Before I went to college, I worked in a nice seafood restaurant and our nightly task was to make sure ketchup containers were full. Therefore, I noticed that my container of ketchup was down to the last few squirts. Never a good thing/sound! Overall, not a bad place to eat, but nothing worth going out of your way to try, imo. I see that others gave it better reviews, so this is my experience, Pictures below...

Okay guys seriously!! There's a few poor reviews on here and I do try to keep an open mind. Well…read more.. now you have a Yelp Elite telling you to STAY AWAY!! At least until they have some serious changes!! First off it is WAY overpriced! My husband had the teriyaki steak for $18!! As you can see by the photo, this included a small handful of extremely overcooked bits of beef. I ordered a chicken dish just to be told they were out of chicken. They were also out of the 8oz steak special. I got the firecracker sushi roll which was supposed to have jalapeño. Not sure where that went. Before our meal we got the absolute worst wilted (not intentionally) iceberg and cucumber salad with an awful ginger dressing. It was bitter. Then the miso soup was actually miso broth with green onions and it tasted much more like water then miso. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. The services was subpar as well. She never asked us how we liked our food, never checked on us actually. Then we had to sit and overhear the servers talk about their poor tips. Gee I wonder why? I have to say the ambiance is pretty perfect actually but it only adds to how disappointing the food is. With such a beautiful building, this location should be a serious hot spot! I will say they appear to be clean. I usually rate on a scale... okay food 1 star, service 1 star, ambiance 1 star because it set me up for disappointment, cleanliness 4 stars. I think it's safe to say, this location gains one star! Points for improvement: if you're going to charge $18 for a steak dish... serve a steak to the customer's desired temp. And if you're going to serve miso soup and a salad make sure it's fresh and well executed. Stop using a microwave and make the food fresh!! Research authentic Asian cuisine and just execute it better. Okay I just left the bathroom. Check the picture. I'm done here.

We haven't been here since my birthday 4 or 5 years ago. Anyway, the ambiance is great. It's not changed since the 80's and it really has that small, intimate, elegant feel that can really make a place special. It's comfortable, clean and very welcoming. Unfortunately, the food can be really hit or miss. When they get the veal piccata right, it's the best in town. That said, sometimes it so tough, it's inedible. When they get really nice, fresh fish, it's amazing. When it's not that great... I guess we all know. Other parts of a great night out are the drinks and the waitstaff. Our waiter (Mr. Ponytail guy) came to our table after a nice, thoughtful delay between arrival and getting settled in. I think he's been there since the place opened so he does know what he's doing. In fact, I've had him in the past and he can do an incredible job (if he wants to). I guess this wasn't the night he wanted to. After going over the specials, none of us ordered a cocktail, which disappointed him. None of us ordered salads or the famous lobster bisque (which we would have if we were asked) and nobody ordered any of the specials. Mr. Ponytail guy made it obvious we were wasting his time and basically chose to neglect us for the rest of the evening. He didn't even bring the entrees out of the kitchen. Another group of folks carried out food out of the kitchen and Mr. ponytail guy did a really lame attempt at serving the plates to us and then briskly walked away. He never came back to check our satisfaction or to see if we wanted anything else. That said, the busboy was ON-IT! My water glass never ran out and there were no lingering dirty plates on the table. Kudos to him! Mr. Ponytail guy could take some lessons in congeniality and graciousness from the busboy. So, I understand that this is a high-end place. the staff really depends on folks ordering drinks, sides and apps, I get it. That said, even with very little effort, Mr. Ponytail guy still made about $10 bucks in tips off of each of us. I guess if serving drinks is so important to this guy, maybe he should look into waiting table at Barbie's Place on Bennet. This seems to be more his caliber. The coup de grace for the evening is the barmaid screwed up my change 3 times. I know, math is hard, but when the bill comes to $60.06 and you give $80.00 in cash, the change should be $19.94. She gave me back $4.06. I informed Mr. Ponytail guy of the error and he brought me another $5.00 bill. Again, math is hard. He also said he never checked the amount of money I gave him to cover my check, so he didn't know what was going on. Way to be a steward of your customer, Mr. Ponytail guy... After being made to feel like totally inadequate plebes that should have supped at the coney island next door, I really doubt we'll ever go back. I do ask Georgio to send Mr. Ponytail guy to congeniality school so he can learn the disappointments of life and how some things just don't go your way. That or let him spend some time washing dishes. Remember, Mr. ponytail guy, you decided to take on the task of waiting tables, and there's absolutely no shame in this. Lord knows, I've done a lot worse for a lot less. Just remember that some of your customers may not have big appetites, consume alcohol, eat fish or have a willingness to be treated like inconvenient morons just because you decided to judge them for not being who you wanted them to be. There are a lot of other high-end places much closer to home that would LOVE to get our money... Oh, 2 stars because the food was OK.
