Andrew was hustling. He was doing all the things, engaging with customers, taking orders and even went to stock the utensil area. There were three other employees around. One was baking and the others were standing around chatting. Andrew def needs to be recognized for his work ethic and getting things done! He was also very knowledgeable about the app and how to navigate it. There was a wait for a full size Cinnabon but it was nice and warm and gooey, so worth the wait. The other employees did bring a whole box of frozen buns out and put them on trays at the register area so kind of took the charm out of fresh rolls. The rolls themselves are clearly mass produced and not as good as we remembered as kids. But was definitely a fun walk down memory lane. read more

When I was done ordering I wanted to know how long it would take for the item I had ordered would be done, but she said whenever the food would be ready. I had just asked this question because I wanted to go and use the bathroom that was nearby. She then looked at me disgusted and didn't want to be bothered after I was done talking to her. I've seen other people like women and a guy being active with work but the cashier lady name Yadira on the other hand was not being as passive and productive as the others. She kept being on her phone to text or whatever it was I feel like she doesn't want to work but to just get paid standing by doing nothing I understand food takes a minute from what was stated from her but being on your phone for a long time is different and giving unpleasant attitude to customers is another. I've seen others being friendly and active or at least try to be at work but unfortunately overall I just don't feel comfortable with the one specific worker who took my order, she just needs to either take a day off or just not work in a company like that put you infront of people. I never once gave her a reason or made her upset about ordering something or even given attitude towards her. I just kindly tried to talk to her and asked her a question about an item and the difference. Seemed like no matter if you are nice she was not going to give a nice attitude back. Total honesty of this rating I would have to give for just the food and cashier I had it is 1.5 star. I only give it just a 1.5 star only due to the uncooked food and customer service that was given to me I would put zero but unfortunately it's a 1-10 star ratings. Cinnabon please have the worker/cashier do better with customer service and better communication.. I want to keep the ratings 10/10 but this visit I had did not do great at all and it's unfortunate why. I'll give this place one more chance, I will come back in a couple weeks and then finalize my ratings but for now this one I will mark down as not a good Cinnabon location to go too. If she is like that the next time I go I'm sorry but I would need to talk to the manager with HR about this specific person it just seems like that's the only way they will understand what is going on and see that this job isn't right for her or just need better training, like I said before never have I ever met a rude person like her. read more

Terrible cinnabon. Staffs are lazy and slow. The cinnamon roll was tough and dry on the outside. You can probably enjoy more once you get to the center. The sugar and fat probably makes this product ok. Waste of 8 bucks. There were 3 staffs who were working and looks like mostly just standing arounds. No napkins on the counter and we had to ask for them. We were like 6ft apart but they refused to make eye contact. No seats either. You'll have to stand around eating. read more

I've seen these places in every mall but have never tried them. The other night, I was in the mood for a sweet and this location was open late so I ordered via DoorDash. I got the classic and the smaller version. Eight bucks for a cinnamon thing is kind of obscene as is six bucks for the smaller version. Anyway, they both arrived safe and sound about thirty minutes later. I don't know what I was expecting really, but I began with the large version, the classic. I never think anything can be TOO sweet but the frosting was really, really sweet. The whole thing seemed like maybe it had been sitting there like so much fish for a few hours because it just didn't seem fresh. I stopped eating it about two-thirds through, and I trashed the other one. I hate leaving this kind of review, but you have to call it as you see it and I've called it as I've seen it (or tasted it). If you love the flavor of cinnamon you will enjoy Cinnabon. This is a place that I grew up loving and enjoying eating at. But for some reason when I had this Cinnabon it wasn't as how I used to have it before! I don't feel like it has enough cinnamon in it. They are generous with the frosting but still, it just isn't as good as it use to be. The bun itself was also very dry and a little bit on the harder side so not sure if it was because it was too late or what the reason was. Kind of sad that it turned out that way. Even though I stood right behind the customers paying and entered the building before the other customers they helped other customers who didn't even know what they wanted. CINNABONS ARE BURNT , Manager is rude , establishment is unclean. Zero stars if i could , but one star because the employee on the register and the employee boxing the Cinnabons while attempting to be helpful while manager roamed behind them doing nothing and whispering orders. I went in at 10:30pm ordered a four pack associate directed me to the last four pack in the corner by the door which looks stale and as if it was sitting there all day. I was informed by the employees that they are no longer selling four packs when I ask why the two employees looked at each other and they looked over at their manager Emily who then went to the back room. Associated in inform me I could buy four Cinnabons and he would charge me for the price of four which is almost $40 mind you , the pack of four is $22. I informed them how this was a huge inconvenience for me as I need four Cinnabons at the four pack price and did not understand why they were refusing to sell to me nor why the manager was not answering any questions as well. Ended up purchasing two Cinnamins. They were overcooked and not worth it. I have a year pass for universal and usually go to Ben & Jerry's or voodoo doughnuts. This will be the last time we come to this location as there are too many options around to receive horrible service and horrible desert. I've walked past Cinnabon a few times while visiting CityWalk and it always smells amazinggg. I was craving something sweet and finally decided to try the Caramel PecanBon and let me tell you it was BOMB! It was freshly made and still warm and ooeygooey when I bit into it and has layers of caramel, caramel frosting, and chopped pecans sprinkled on top that add the perfect crunch combined with the soft doughy cinnamon roll. It wasn't busy and the service was quick as I received it within 5 minutes of waiting. A little pricey, but honestly worth it for the size and quality. read more

Sure, the signage is very awesome along with all the ginormous signs for each & every restaurant/store in CityWalk, but that doesn't give you the right to give poor customer service. Saw him give napkins to the previous customers before us & after us, but none to us. This Cinnabon location is my go to. If you're not into the whole chewy gooey (uncooked) center you'll love this place. Their Cinnabons are cooked through and through, no questions on if it's thoroughly baked. Service was great, always friendly with pleasant conversation. I really hate leaving negative reviews but honestly the one star is only for the poor girl at the register. We had been looking forward to a Cinnabon after a day at Universal Studios. That warm yummy soft bun drizzled in buttery sauce...mmmm. Alas we were disappointed. This location was manned by only 2 employees on a Sunday night an hour before Universal closes. Seriously?! We payed approx $45 for 5 Cinnabuns, 2 churros and 2 regular coffees. There was no cream for the coffee and coffee prep area was disgustingly dirty. To top it off the buns were cold although we purchased them individually (more expensive) instead of in a pack of 4 so they would be warm. They were not only cold, they were hard and dry. This review is regarding the store located at the CityWalk mall, not inside the theme park. I have been to this shop multiple times. On more than one occasion, I have gone in to the shop to try to by a 4-pack of Caramel PecanBons to take back home. As I write this, I'm failing to remember any effort to buy a 4-pack that was successful. Every. Single. Time. I'm told 'We don't have any 4-packs available, but you can purchase a 6-pack for just a little bit more'. Um. If I wanted 6, I would have asked for 6. Now, because this keeps happening, I finally decided to not only write this review here, but contact Cinnabon directly. What is the problem here? The only people in the store were me and the two employees. The display was FULL of Cinnabons. When I was denied a 4-pack, I asked the sales girl if she could put four of the rolls from the display into a box and sell me the 4-pack. She said she couldn't. I don't know why not because when I asked, she hemmed and hawed and looked to her co-worker for an answer, but there wasn't one. Were they out of boxes? Well, that shouldn't be an issue. The last time this occurred, I was with a friend and we ended up splitting a 6-pack. Which meant the shop employee had to get another box and put 3 rolls from the 6-pack into the 2nd box and prep both sets as Caramel PecanBons. So being out of 4-pack boxes wouldn't matter. Use a 6-pack box. Use 4 individual boxes. Whatever. None of this was offered. I was simply told it couldn't be done - but not why. There was absolutely ZERO attempt to provide me with what I wanted to purchase. (Did I mention the FULL case of Cinnabons????) WTF? Thankfully, a VooDoo Doughnuts opened up right across from this store. Even with a line I was in there for no more than 10 minutes. City Walk is touristy and will always have a high volume of people. Cinnabon doesn't have to worry about anything and doesn't have to worry about Yelp reviews. My experience is okay. When I feel like a Cinnabon, I'll go get one. I'll visit this one, especially since I like going to the movies at City Walk. Do I feel like Voodoo Donuts, which are a little cheaper? The thing is out of the two desserts, donuts as a class of desserts are lower for me and even specialty donuts do not help it by much. If you feel like candy shops, there are also those around. The lady cashier tried to upscale her sale to sell me another one, and then denied my request for water. Instead trying to sell water! Wait isn't water suppose to be free?! Usually, I can always find what I want (but never need) at a Cinnabon: warm fattening mega calories served with sweet icing and cinnamon spice in round soft bread shapes. I needed a box of 4 Cinnabons to go in a snap. They have some already made in quantities of 4 and 6 but I needed to customize my box. 3 frosted and 1 plain. The guy on the phone said no problem, be ready in about 30 minutes. I drove up to the loading area and ran up to the store and picked up my freshly made Cinnabons. You know how the center of the bun cups are supposed to be gooey with a ton of cinnamon and melts in your mouth? I just drove all the way here and decided to spend the premium at the Universal location only to get the driest center of the buns I've ever had. Upon closer inspection, it was not in fact centers, it was just a plain cinnamon bun cut up into pieces with scalding icing and some cinnamon frosting on top. And this probably has less to do with the location and more so with company policy, but I had a birthday coupon for a free Iced Coffee and they told me I had to print it out. I have had a lot of birthday coupons, and not one of them required me to print it out since we have this silly little invention called a smart phone. Anyways, going along with the theme of this entire review, the iced coffee was incredibly bland and watered down. Also wouldn't accept my gold member discount for Universal Studios. Voodoo Donuts does though... Ended up going to Voodoo Donuts and ended up spending more of my money there instead to satisfy my sweet tooth. read more
