When we first came to visit, we were concerned based on the reviews. We read through and found a bunch talking about towing issues and management not being great. During the tour, the mgmt was great. They showed us the model home as well as the one we would eventually move into. They were extremely nice and willing to give us all the information we asked for. We have moved in and have been living here for half a month so far. The management that currently resides have been extremely helpful and nice. We had a few small maintenance requests that have been fulfilled very quickly. The apartment overall was very clean, and we did not find anything to note on the lease during signing. When I showed up to sign the lease, almost every "prospective tenant parking" was taken by those living here. They were putting notes on the car saying to move or they will be towed. The parking does suck if you do not have the spot, since there is not many extra places. As long as you follow the posted rules, I don't forsee any issues. The place is very quiet at night, and i love the woodsy feel. The area is surrounded by a nice shopping center and condos/apartments. So far we really enjoy it! read more

My family has lived happily and safe here for the past few years. We love the pool and often have guests over to enjoy it with us. The clubhouse is free to use for parties and laundry room on site. Putting in work orders lead to friendly and helpful management and maintenance coming to our rescue promptly. We have two daughters who share a room and have bunk beds and still there is space to hang out in the room. We have a small/medium backyard with a vegetable garden and sitting area to enjoy the outdoors. (Not all downstairs units have backyard space.) With all I've stated above, wonderful schools and shopping centers nearby, Cinnamon Ridge is a great community to live in. read more

About 5 months into our contract and it was been great living here. The staff in the office has been helpful and very professional- rarely any issues, and if there are they will take the time to explain them. They are also there 7 days a week. Maintenance staff gets things done in a time manner and they're really nice! There have been some issues with the laundry machines, but clearly those are residents breaking them as I have seen some people over load the machines. Everything has been well kept, clean, and taken care of since moving in the summer of 2018. One issue is the parking- there are spots given to residents but for extra cars for residents it can be an issue to find parking in the evenings. visitor parking is on the street or a small parking lot which is often taken or full. But if you have a small car you can find a spot or just walk 5 min and park on the street parking just north of the complex. read more

If there was a way to give a review with negative stars, Cinnamon Ridge would have -5. The office workers have zero willingness to help even with maintenance issues that has caused major damage and problems for an entire block. The parking here is one spot per apt. and the workers will call towing on you after an hour of parking in guest parking. I don't understand how this place hasn't gotten sued up the hoo-ha for their horrible treatment of residents. If you have more than one car, DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER LIVING HERE. A daily occurance is residents sitting in their car waiting for a spot to open after work. It is ridiculous. Our apartment has had a major natural damage by tree roots that have broken the entire unit's piping which led to multiple floodings for all the residents. Maintenance came by and said that they need to rip the carpet out and we have to be out for a week without their assistance for hotels or anything. The old Korean lady here is rude as can be and the Spanish speaker is also very condescending when asking for help. For how old this apartment complex is, the price is not near affordable or worth it. THIS IS NOT LUXURY WHATSOEVER. NOTHING HAS BEEN UPGRADED OR REMODELED SINCE THE EARLY 80's. My family and I have been leaving here for three years now, and we couldn't be happier! I must admit that we got our cars towed a couple of times in the first year, and we were very upset with the charges to get our vehicles back. But a new management team took over and everything has been perfect. We specially love the maintenance staff. They are so kind, neat and respectful. We have not had many issues in our unit, but whenever we do, they respond promptly and take care of everything very quickly! The neighborhood is amazing and I believe that we are in the best part of Fullerton. The complex is beautifully landscaped at all times, and we love the heated pool! 5 stars doesn't mean perfect, but this place was great to us (given our situation) for the very short time we were there. You just need to go in with realistic expectations. PROS: Our interactions with the management was very good. Jenny, Jon & Kathy were always very professional, polite, and courteous to us. They were very flexible and willing to try and work with us on any issues we had. Granted, we did not have any major issues while we were there during our limited stay. For maintenance issues, we always got a very quick response. A couple times we put in a request and maintenance was at our door the very same day. They took care of all of our minor issues, and they were always very nice and friendly. The outside grounds is very well maintained and clean from what I observed. They have BBQ grills sprinkled throughout and a pool as well. CONS: The apartments are pretty old, with popcorn ceilings. They have a wall AC unit, which is OK if you're near the AC, but otherwise the rest of the apartment can get pretty hot. Was not here long enough to utilize the heater, so cannot comment on that. We were on the 1st floor (by request). The walls/ceilings are pretty thin and you can hear people walking around & talking (if they're speaking loudly). Otherwise, it was pretty quiet without any loud music or noises from our neighbors during the night. They have water bugs. However, management was very sympathetic and tried very hard to work with us in a reasonable manner. Parking is pretty congested. You only get assigned spot and everything else is 1st come, 1st serve. However, this is not unique to Cinnamon Ridge. Every apartment I have ever lived in always had the issues of too many cars and limited spaces. The core issues listed above are due to Cinnamon Ridge being an older apartment complex. You can't really do much about it, so know what you're getting into. It is, what it is. If these are deal breakers, you should look elsewhere. However, newer apartment complexes will also be priced relatively higher as well, & parking will also be an issue no matter where you go. The difference here was the stellar management in the leasing office and the maintenance crew, which earned them a 5/5 from me. Recently relocated 2800 miles back to Fullerton. Jennie, Jon & Kathy are very professional and friendly; all worked hard to assure that our cross-country relocation went smoothly with clear communication over the weeks prior to the move - Thank You! I lived at Cinnamon Ridge for about seven months and have been thoroughly impressed with the well maintained landscape/communal areas and the professional staff. The apartments are not stuffy and when I did encounter a maintenance issue property management did their best to fix all issues in an expedited time. Our neighbors were friendly and quiet. Unlike other leasing office staff, Jon and Jenny were amazing. They were the most accommodating when it came to my needs and demands and guided me through the entire process. I lived there for a year, and I wouldn't recommend the place. The Sunny Hills area is super hot in the summers, and the wall unit A/C's which probably haven't been serviced do nothing unless you stand in front of them. There are rodent issues in certain parts of the property. It is also hard to find consistent service with the staff, because they move not only the leasing staff, but the managers as well within the company from property to property. The property is pretty old and there is a lot of root rot and termite damage on the patios and some of the vaulted ceiling areas and carports (look up and you'll see them) as well as the garages (which they rent out to non-residents as well). Residents leave trash bags full of trash out in front of their doors instead of throwing them into a trash bin. Parking is a nightmare, and CalPark which has some company stake in it is ruthless when it comes to towing resident vehicles, so unless you make sure to have your parking sticker on your car and park in your stall, and if you have multiple cars, good luck! There was a safety issue for 1st floor units for awhile as well. There was a serial peeping tom that was going around the property as well. You get some vandalism elements from the teens from the property next door. The proposed solution when I was managing this property was wrought iron fencing to keep the residents safer and to keep outside elements out, so corporate got estimates but it never came to fruition during my tenure as manager at the property. Bottomline, the value for the money you pay versus the headaches are not worth living at this community. The property does target the Korean community. Folks that just came to the states that do not have established credit can get a co-signer and a one month's rent as deposit. Because of Equal Housing Opportunity laws, Arnel will not say outright it is marketing and targeting mostly to the Korean clientele, but they do, and the make-up of the community will reflect that. Also, they milk the Sunny Hills High School District thing. I'm sorry, Troy High School is ranked number #1 now, not Sunny Hills (also Acacia Elementary is #1 now), so not quite sure what they're so proud of being part of in terms of the school lines. There are a lot of apartments in the area to choose from in the immediate area, so choose carefully, and you have been forewarned! read more

Overpriced for what it is. When I moved out the place was practically like it was when I moved in - but most of my deposit was deducted for frivolous things like cleaning for the vertical blinds, or "repainting" the counters (which I doubt were repainted). The clubhouse is its only plus - you can "check" for free by giving them a check (in case you cause any damage). When the keys are returned, the check is returned. There is a pool and jacuzzi, which they keep clean. The laundry room only accepts their annoying laundry cards, and if you are not careful, clothes can be stolen from there if you are not wary. The place is conveniently close to a large shopping center that includes an Anchor Blue, Albertsons, Jamba Juice, Starbucks, La Salsa, etc. although because of the price, it seems to have a high turnover rate in rentals. read more

The apartment is located within walking distance to Amerige Point Shopping center and also located within the highest-rated school district in Orange County. The rooms are clean and well maintained, amenities in all of the rooms are very high quality especially in the kitchen. All of the apartment grounds and the swimming pool are kept clean daily. There are several barbecue grills throughout the apartment complex and gas for the grill is provided free and the whole barbecue area is washed and cleaned daily. The parking area is gated and very convenient. Also, Cinnamon Ridge Apartment has a month to month rate as well as 3-month, 6-months, and one-year rental rate. Well, it was such a madhouse, bumper to bumper cars trying to find a place to park that we couldn't even get the car out of our assigned covered space. So the only option was to drive to the shopping center early in the morning before they started work. That was last Thursday and Friday. It is now Tuesday, 4 days later. This morning I just got ANOTHER NOTICE ON MY DOOR announcing repairs to balconies and replacement of some posts!!! We had four whole days of relative peace and quiet. I use the word "relative" because the gardeners use outdated, noisy, smelly leaf blowers, trimmers and lawn mowers a couple of days every week. If you work from home, as many of us must do during the COVID-19 lockdown, don't expect it to be quiet enough to concentrate. The rent is raised every time your lease expires. Well. From the beginning I was lied too about numerous things. First was about the condition of an apartment we tried to rent. I was told from a leasing agent that they will be changing the carpets since the last tenant was there for 10years so they were old. So Now on Day before moving in I was told that the apartment it was not ready until the following week. Really!!...Then when we were ready to move in we did the walk through with the agent only to find out that the rugs were never changed. Dirty!...Seriously. So Now I had to completely change my apartment from a 2bed to a 1bed because that was the only one that was ready for move in that day because we already had our moving truck already there. I even had to pay extra Monthly to lease this other apartment I didn't want. REALLY!...Then I was told there would be enough parking for our 2nd car and when it came time to find parking we couldn't find any nor guest parking vehicle parking. Wow!....So at this point I had enough and told them I would only move in if It's a 6month lease because They lied about the other Apt and now I'm stuck. Then I was told to pay an $200 extra for a garage..Yeah right. Also They Have No Security and I know this because my Car Got broken Into and I have a police report. Cars park with no tags everywhere even in front on my entry walkway way into the apartment that is not a parking & is very visible and nobody really cares. I called the Front office and was Talked to Rude and was told to call the police and so I said No I'm calling your security patrol that's supposed to tow it so please give me the number. This is the worst apartment I have ever lived at in the last 10 years. Read the reviews before you decide to live here. Water gets shut off at random times. Management took all of my security deposit when I paid a professional to clean the unit. They charged me for water spots in sink, small black mark on wall which I don't know where it came from. I made sure walls had no marks before I moved out. The charged me for new carpet $450 which I did not cause damage to it. I have pictures of the unit. No other apartment has ever treated me in this manner and takes all of my security deposit or even charge me for carpet damage. Every apt I lived it was left in good condition. The carpet cleaning guy even knows there was no damage to carpet.. There was also an incident there where a man tried to lure my daughter into his apartment. Management did not do anything about it. I did a police report. This is an awful rental property to live at. Also the parking there is horrible. Only residence is allowed to park there. I have been living here for about 2 years and in my opinion it's pretty descent. It is slightly over priced considering there is no central air conditioning or washer/dryer in the apartment. But, for the price you get location. Ameritech shopping center is practically a block away and has all you need. The pool is always nice and clean, I'm surprised there aren't more people here on the weekends. I have only live here for three months but my experience has been great overall. I really wish for consistent management at the complex. Heather and Corrine were so wonderful with us in moving in and with any maintenance problems we had after our move in. When we had a leak under our sink one day, my husband said that maintenance was at our apartment within five minutes. He told me " that Heather is amazing." Israel and Felipe are also kind and friendly when I see them working around the complex. It's nice that they know you and acknowledge you. I wanted more information regarding online payments and went into the office one Sunday. The young lady that was there was rude to me. She was talking on a personal phone call and gave me a look of "what" and that I was bothering her. I asked for a flyer in regards to online payments and she asked me for my apartment number -never asking me my name or introducing herself. After I left the office, she went right back to the phone. My husband and I went to the pool area and I went back to the office to let her know the Jacuzzi was not working. She again hung up her personal phone call and looked bothered telling me there was nothing she could do about it. I left but this left a really bad taste in my mouth because I know that anytime I have entered that leasing office in the past, Heather, Corrine and Cathy have acknowledged me by name. I was so happy to see Heather in the office last Saturday because I went to the office with a concern and she took care of it right away. Heather is a problem solver. A few weeks ago, I went to the office to complain about a parking situation and Terrance was in the office and very kind and helpful but he also told me he would get in contact with Heather and she was helping out at another complex. Arnel, we need Heather here. The Jacuzzi jets have been broken for over two weeks. If Heather was here it would have BEEN fixed. Probably over a month ago, I told Heather about someone parking in handicapped space without a placard. While I was still in the office, she called parking enforcement. I know this is a very nice property, but some residents are running a mock because there is no strong management. I met Amanda the other day and she was courteous and professional. I really appreciated having her in the office but we need someone here at Cinnamon Ridge to keep things in line. Do not move here if you want any help from your leasing office. I have never experienced a turnover in staff like here, including during the time of our switching apartments when they gave us keys without us signing the full lease, turning on our electricity or even really knowing who we were after being in the office every day for 2 weeks (one woman asked us if we wanted a tour when we walked in after living there a year). After moving out, we received a bill for electricity 2 months later. When I called them (three times) to have them call Edison and take responsibility for the bill (which Edison told me TWICE to have them do), one woman said she couldn't do that without even trying, one woman told me that I was responsible for the electricity in the apartment I hadn't been living in, and finally the 3rd decided to help me. 2 of the 3 of these women were not employees when I had moved out 2 months earlier. The apartments are not horrible, but WAY overpriced now (our lease went up $200) and the best part is the maintenance crew who was extremely helpful and friendly, maybe they should manage the place. Things might run more smoothly. Avoid this place if you can find ANYWHERE else. read more

Lived here for a year with 4 friends and it was an absolute blast!! The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful to 5 college students with no renting experience as they answered every question and solved every problem. 10/10 recommend!! read more

Overpriced, incompetent staff, dirty and old apartment complex. That's how I will simply put it. This place is absolutely horrible especially for the price. Parking? Forget it, they tell you they guarantee you 2 parking spots but you would lucky to find 1 parking space after 9pm. When I asked them to enforce the parking by hiring a tow staff company, they gave me the run around. You have to park 1 mile away from the apartment and take an uber home or have a friend pick you up. It's that ridiculous. For the price I'm paying, I can get a much nicer apartment in San Diego or Santa Monica (both expensive areas) The apartment is drab, bland and old. I had to request 10s of repairs here and it just became frustrating. The management needs to be changed. I can't wait to move of this place next month and never look back. read more

If I could give this place and Arnell properties as a whole a negative 50 I would. We went in here and met with Amanda (I believe that's her name) and met heather the manager. During the application process, they told us they wouldn't be charging us for the co-signed application simple because it was my grandma, they really liked her, and didn't want to charge us for her. We had put a $200 deposit for the waitlist and I called in the middle of December to let them know that I was not getting as many hours as planned and I needed to cancel our waitlist and get our money back. They said okay, no problem. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago (last week of January) and the male I spoke to said the computer said the check was out for delivery and I should be receiving it by the end of the week. End of the week hits: nothing. So I call and they give my corporates number and told me to ask for Natalia. Natalia is the biggest, word I can't say other wise this will be removed, I've ever had to deal with. She said the check had never been out for delivery and she would be sending it out. She said that it was never out for delivery before I called her either. I said okay and waited for it: I never got it so I called on Friday. She said it's no longer in her control and she couldn't do anything. I also asked why it was okay for an employee to lie to me and say it was out for delivery when it never was. She said he didn't lie and told me what I needed to hear so I didn't worry (that's a lie). The check came today, February 12th, 2 months after I had cancelled our waitlist position. The check was for $160 and not $200. I called Natalia and asked her why and she said it was because we never paid a co-signer application fee. I told her what Heather and Amanda said and she said she needed to call them to verify this. An hour later and she calls me and says Heather said she would never do that, because it's against company policy. Heather was all willing to do a lot for us that was against company policy (ex:rent animals with no fee), so I asked why I was being penalized for what Heather had done. She then again said Heather said it never happened and Heather doesn't make false promises. I'd like to mention that during this process of applying, 2-4 people came in and their cars were towed all because Heather told them they could park somewhere they couldn't. I'm so disgusted that a company could be so poorly minded and treat people so disgustingly. I will be taking legal action. read more
