On a recent visit to Port Orange, we did our homework, asked around, and found a great place where the locals go...and for good reason. The restaurant windows and interior were decorated for the holidays beautifully. This is clean but casual dining where you order and the food is brought to you. We were greeted warmly and able to place our order quickly. The place was bustling and packed. Still, everything was great and our food came out quickly. Everything was really good, the Biscoff danish just happens to be one of the best things I've eaten. Great coffee, bold and prepared well. My breakfast bowl was fresh and flavorful, the potatoes amazing, and my wife's croissant breakfast sandwich was delightful as well. The danish was an added bonus I wasn't anticipating, and it was just amazing. A fresh, soft danish, with Biscoff crème in the middle. We should have ordered two, it was very difficult to share. Cinnamon Tree Cafe is a must for breakfast or brunch when you're in the Port Orange area. I know we'll be back.

Best breakfast spot in Daytona! They have the best crepes and drinks. I went here all the time in college and it has become a favorite spot to visit whenever I am in town. I always get the berry crepes. The service is very fast - you order at the counter and then take a seat and wait for the food to come out to you. It is small inside so it is best to go before or after the breakfast rush, but it's super cute and well decorated.

Went for Mothers Day. Line was out the door at 10:15am. The wait on food was over an hour. I had the bowl which had great flavor but had like green leaf salad under the potatoes and meat. The potatoes weren't fully cooked and did not taste good. I will not come here when it's this busy again. The food is good here when it's less busy. A lot of people here and only have one bathroom for men and women. You have to clean after yourself after leaving a tip.

What a fantastic little place close to the highway. We were staying in the area for a long weekend and wanted to try this place for breakfast based on all the amazing reviews. We were not disappointed, definitely the best breakfast we had on our vacation. The inside was packed when we arrived later in the morning on a Tuesday, we placed our order at the counter and found a table outside. My spiced mocha coffee was amazing, with homemade mocha syrup, nutmeg, cinnamon and cayenne! We decided on a sweet treat to split and the Biscoff danish was heavenly. For my meal, the Hawaiian croissant had a wonderful combination of flavors including pineapple and sweet peppers, do delicious. My husband enjoyed his potato bowl as well. This is place is a must-do!

Found this local family owned gem via Yelp! We were in town for my son's Lakeside Jazz Festival. Amazing place, friendly staff and phenomenal food. Food portions were huge. My son had blueberry Pancake & it was giant & delicious. I highly recommend the blueberry fried chicken goat cheese salad. Also, the Nutella crepe was a hit too. We will for sure come back here the next we are in the Port Orange area.

My dream little cafe. I wish I lived nearby, I'd probably be here at least once or twice a week lol. They have breakfast, lunch, pastries, cookies, tea and coffee. Everything is DELICIOUS! On my most recent visit I had the most amazing candied bacon BLT on a fresh croissant with some refreshing berry lemonade iced tea. My mouth is watering just thinking about it lol I enjoyed every last bite. The inside of the cafe is quaint with just a handful of tables, a couple of them are larger to accommodate bigger parties, and a few tables outside too. Service is friendly and quick. Highly recommend!

Every time I come to Port Orange, I must stop at Cinnamon Tree Café for breakfast. I love that they use fresh ingredients and that you can see them. Cook it in front of you. Their lattes- chef's kiss. Everything that I've ordered so far is delicious. They have yet to miss.

When you enter the restaurant, you can order at the counter, and your food arrives fairly quickly. If you prefer indoor seating, I suggest arriving early, as seating is first-come, first-served and can fill up quickly + be a little loud. We ordered the Nutella crepe, biscoff crepe (the ice cream paired with this meal was amazing), breakfast sandwich, pancakes, and a Nutella coffee. The food was incredibly delicious and incredibly satisfying. However, I must warn you about the coffee. It's more creamy and lacks the Nutella flavor you'd expect.

Had a wonderful brunch here! Had a group of 5, we are all here on vacation so not very familiar with the area, and very happy to have found this place! There was lots of available parking spots, and there are lots of options for seating, both indoor and outdoor. You order at a counter, and they have a lot of very tasty looking pastries, muffins and treats on display. Great for a group, since you don't have to worry about splitting the bill! The staff were very friendly and they drop off your food as it's ready, so we were served very quickly. I ordered the avocado toast and added an egg, it was delicious! Came with a lot of avocado, and very yummy bread. Everyone's food was very tasty! I also ordered an iced latte and added their seasonal syrup (rose), and I was very pleased. Overall had a very nice visit!

Yesterday I desperately NEEDED a chia latte and a good breakfast sandwich. So, I went to cinnamon tree. I made the correct choice. The latte was perfect not too sweet, tasted the cinnamon flavor and the ham and Swiss cheese on the croissant was delicious. Customer service is always great and there's always a plethora of baked goods. Also delicious is the hot/spicy potato bowl!

Loved the Cinnamon Tree Cafe! The cinnamon pancake was so good! My husband ordered one of the savory crepes and it was delicious! This is one of my favorite places to have breakfast. Food is flavorful and fresh. Absolutely love the Veggie crepe with bacon I'm having. To brighten the start of your day you are greeted by a smile and very pleasant interaction by a staff member taking your order and another who presents your order. It can get busy for good reason but they have both inside and outside tables and chairs. 5+ stars

Okay, I'm writing a review due to the quality of my "chocolate croissant " which is NOT a croissant at all but rather a bread with chocolate inside it! I'm flabbergasted that this is marketed as a croissant. Starbucks has better and theirs comes from a bag. Maybe their breakfast is better but their bakery seriously lacks. read more

The food is absolutely superb! I had the Nutella crepe which was amazing, I got the kiddie pancake for my son, which was way too big (a good thing though) and my step father got an Italian sandwich which he loved. What was even better than the food, the service! They were so nice, since I'd never been I didn't know to get my own silverware and he brought it to the table for us, nothing but smiles and positive attitudes. 5 stars all day! read more

A very good creperie go visit. Prices were decent and I felt like a pig so I got the black forest crepe along with a kiddie pancake. They were out of cherries for the black forest so I had them replace it with strawberries. The kiddie pancake was not so kiddie like, it had to be at least 6 inches in diameter. read more

Little piece of heaven. Their savory crepes are yummy, the pistachio muffins are to die for and their cinnamon rolls taste as good as they look (10x better than Panera's cinnamon rolls). Definitely a local gem. read more

I went the first time and got a Chai Latte and it was pretty good. I just went a second time and the experience was mediocre. The guy wouldn't take my expired coupon, lame. It took a long time for them to make the food. When I finally got it the guy didn't supply eating utensils and didn't bother showing me where they would be. When I sat down to eat my Florentine crepe ts was bland and lacks any flavor at all. It makes me wonder why anyone is in to eating crepes. read more

Came as a large group with a large order of coffee and crepes. They were so nice and accommodating. The team works so well together. The chorizo crepe was so spicy and good and the biscoff crepe was amazing, as well. The coffee flavors are also so good! 10/10 !! read more

Yummy breakfast items but be prepared to smell putrid like fried food when you exit. Of course this is with any restaurant but it's really bad with Cinnamon Tree Cafe. My friend was even like "why do we smell so strong", probably because of the small space...but otherwise good food and quick service. read more

Amazing service, food, and atmosphere! Definitely one of my favorite places in Port Orange. In my opinion it's the best place to eat breakfast in Port Orange. They have awesome dessert crepes and breakfast crepes. They also have biscotti ice cream that they don't advertise that's awesome. Plus the portions are always huge! read more

i got the hot potato bowl. this bowl is very spicy so make sure you are ready for a kick. i really enjoyed it. i also got a raspberry pastry and it was absolutely amazing i 100% recommend getting one of the pastries. my girlfriend got a croissant sandwich which she said was delightful. read more

For the high prices of this place, would not recommend. A crepe is about 8-9$. Our food took much longer than expected to come out. Additionally, there was a strand of hair in my friend's dish. As I was finishing my crepe I noticed there was a strand of long hair at the bottom of it. The waitress was nice about it but nonetheless unacceptable read more

Wanted to like this place more as I love crepes but it fell just a bit short of 4 stars. This is an order at the counter and they bring our your food type of place. The atmosphere isn't bad, I feel like they could have done something a bit better with the seating against the wall (across from the counter) as it felt a bit clustered. We got the Florentine, three cheese crepes and a chocolate chip pancake. The crepe itself was pretty good - not too thin and not too thick. We weren't huge fans on the Florentine as it needed some seasoning. The cheese one was good expect the tomatoes were under ripened and didn't taste good at all. The pancake was good and also enormous! I would suggest sharing a pancake and a crepe. The coffee wasn't the best either. We ordered cappuccinos but one of them was purely milk and you could barely taste any coffee - I went to ask to get it adjusted and the barista gave me an attitude and started telling me the difference between a cappuccino and a latte...I know the difference, I've had lots of great coffee. read more

This cafe is WONDERFUL!!! While visiting my daughter at Embry Riddle, we met for a quick brunch before her volleyball game and upon entering The cafe I was greeted to the most glorious aromas of cinnamon, fresh coffee and the smiles of wait staff. We enjoyed the best crepes (peaches and cream) and croissant sandwiches. I highly recommend the macchiato which is reminiscent of the ones I enjoyed in Italy last year. Other delicious choices are the savory crepe ham and cheese and the cinnamon roll pancake. I'm sure whatever you decide on will be delicious!! read more

I visited this Café this morning. I was looking for a nice place where I can come and have a morning coffee while doing some work before starting my day. This place was very pleasant and welcoming. I informed the Cashier that this was my first visit and he even suggested this Nutella ice coffee that I never had before. It was excellent and I will be sure to order it next time. I am making this my new morning place to start my day and I am looking forward to trying their breakfast out next visit. Just the sight of some of the food I saw made me extremely hungry. read more

Stopped for breakfast and was thrilled with the menu. Superb staff are friendly and even wear vests and ties! The place has a "rustic Paris" feel and the music is soft early 2000s rock. (Or at least it was during my visit.) the crepes and croissants are large enough to share and the coffee is very well made. Ask for your cinnamon roll to be heated - yum! - it's the icing on the cake... er... roll! A nice relaxing start to the day. read more

As for the smoothie that I got, the person that I got it before said it was delicious and she loves how fresh the ingredients are. The service is also pretty fast. You come in, order and whatever you decide to order is usually done in five minutes or so. I ordered my food and paid, and then I went to sit down, and only about five minutes passed by and all my stuff was ready. I also must say that the ambience of the Planet Smoothie is somewhat reminiscent of a beach trip and it's very calm and pleasant. I love the turquoise colors and everything. The two girls that were working when I went in today were super sweet and they also let me take my time when ordering which I also appreciate. There were so much good things on the menu. It took me about 10 minutes to decide what I wanted. also, apart from that I would highly recommend to download their app and sign up for an account with them so you can get rewards each time that you order. I can already tell that the reward system is pretty good because I made my account today and with the order, I already received 25 points. once I get 25 more points then I get a reward so it seems pretty fast in that regard. Once you sign up, you also get a "Welcome Reward" which means you'll get $1 off any 20 oz smoothie. The app is also pretty helpful because you could easily give the employee your number to add the points onto your account, but it also has a QR code that you could scan once you're ready to pay. Just some final remarks: I will say that the toppings that they added to my açai bowl were amazing and super fresh. I also love that the employees did not mind on giving me good amounts of each product. I really did get a good amount of the açai base and she also put a lot of fruit and Nutella on the top which I loved. The fact that they don't skimp on ingredients is absolutely amazing and one of the biggest reasons why I'm gonna continue coming back. Come here! You won't regret it.

I've been coming here for a long time, and this little gem had been hidden long enough. This food and coffee will change you. The illy coffee is exquisite and the crepes are so satisfying! You couldn't believe what you get for such a small price. Yeah, it's not the McDonald's dollar menu in terms of cheap but it's worth more than most steak houses charge for a prime cut. The berries and cream comes loaded with your choice of Blueberries and Strawberries or Peaches in a cream cheese filling. To top it off a light sprinkling of powdered sugar. WoW was I impressed! This was my favorite cafe all 4 years I lived in Florida. Incredible food (I'm still trying to find crepes that good) and the pastries had unique and seasonal flavors!! The drinks were delicious too, and I literally still crave and miss cinnamon tree cafe to this day a full year and a half since I've been. I racked up enough loyalty rewards/points that when my brother moved to FL and I moved away, I "gave" him my points account and he didn't have to pay for anything for his first three trips lol. I'm madly obsessed with Cinnamon Tree Cafe! Their Nutella coffee is absolutely divine and honestly one of the main reasons I keep coming back--it's rich, cozy, and downright addictive. I love starting my mornings with the spinach and cheese danish, which is perfectly flaky and savory, and when my sweet tooth kicks in, the berries and cream crêpe never disappoints. On top of the amazing food and drinks, the staff are always so kind and welcoming. Cinnamon Tree has the most amazing food. I love their breakfast menu with their egg croissants and crepes, their baked goods, and coffee. my new favorite is their Saturday Night After Hours desserts. This past Saturday, I tried the Apple A la mode- so yummy. My daughter tried the caramel Crème Brûlée. She loved it. Last week, I had the Bananas Flambé which was to die for and she had the Lemon Crème Brûlé, (Because of that one, we have to go back every week so she can try something new).
