My wife and I shared a full order and I so enjoyed it, I ordered another half order. My Veal Chop Marsala was awesome! My wife truly enjoyed her Gnocchi and my friends clean his plate with his Chicken piccata. His wife loved her Chicken with white beans. We each shared a dessert. We got a tiramisu and my friend and his wife enjoyed a crème brûlée. Overall 5 star! I will be back and I highly recommend it.

I told her the crystal champagne glasses were to celebrate her success! I ordered champagne which came in a chilled marble container to keep it cold. I had looked at a couple other restaurants before settling on Twin Oaks. Twin Oaks was easy for her to get to after meeting with a new client. The food was delicious. The ambience looking out over Spectacle Lake with the moonlight on the water was wonderful. The waiter could not not have been more attentive yet not intrusive. For all her hard work and her business beginning to take off, she deserved some recognition. It took courage to have given up a career that very few would have walked away from and start her own business. Twin Oaks was the the right place to acknowledge her success that night. When I am stumped about where to take a guest or guests, I never go wrong with this place--it's so close to me as well. It is one of Warwick's best-kept secrets. First, their dinner-for-two with a bottle of wine lives on, though I no longer enjoy the revamped menu, and the price has gone up. It's just better for me to order off the regular menu now. For starters, they have warm bread, roasted garlic that is so soft and moist to spread on the bread, olive oil, vinaigrette, and parmesan to par if you fancy. Their dishes are filling, and the dessert choices are ample. As a rule, I do not eat dessert after a meal, but here, that rule is kaput. So worth it. They also always give you complimentary limoncello shots. On my most recent visit, we ordered the Mediterranean Calamari for starters, the generous Seafood Pescatore, Pan Seared Black Bass, enjoyed with Meiomi Pinot Noir, and for dessert, something special that I cannot recall. The problem is the complete lack of customer service and the dismissive attitude of the staff. This restaurant doesn't offer online reservations, so I followed the instructions on their voicemail exactly. I called before they opened, left my name, phone number, party size, and requested time as instructed. The message clearly stated that someone would call back to confirm the reservation. That call never came. Thinking it might have been an oversight, I called again after they opened. No answer. I called a third time. Once again, voicemail. We decided to take our chances and drove to the restaurant anyway. After standing at the entrance for several minutes while multiple servers walked past without acknowledging us, someone finally came over and asked if we had a reservation. I explained everything that had happened. Her response was, "Yeah, if you don't get a call back, you don't have a reservation." I replied that a call letting us know that would have been helpful since I had followed their instructions exactly. Her response? "Yeah, when you called we didn't have any tables available anyway." That simple statement summed up the entire experience. No apology. No acknowledgment that their reservation system had failed. No attempt to make things right. Just a shrug and an attitude that suggested our time didn't matter. If you know you can't accommodate a reservation, pick up the phone or return the call. If your voicemail promises a confirmation call, honor it. And if a customer shows up after doing everything they were told to do, the very least you can do is treat them with courtesy instead of indifference. My family lives in town, and we make a point of supporting local businesses. After this experience, this restaurant won't get another opportunity from us. There are WAY too many restaurants in town (actually several in the SAME PARKING LOT) to tolerate that treatment.
