Middle of the road diner. A friend of a friend recommended this place and labeled it as "an old time diner". That person must have been on crack or something as there is nothing olde-timey about the place. The location is right on a busy road and it wasn't too crowded for a Saturday morning. The service was a bit slow for whatever reason but they got caught up and things were fine service wise after all was said and done. I actually stumbled upon this diner accidentally after taking my dog to get groomed. And I must say, I'm pretty glad I did. The parking lot may be a bit small but don't let the size fool you, on the other side of the diner there's a lot more spaces to park. As soon as I walked in I was greeted, seated, and watered all before I can say "alex part of 1 please" I didn't even bother opening the menu, I ordered my meal as if I was a regular and I asked for a small OJ to be on the safe side. The meal came pretty fast. Which was a huge plus because I was in a but of a hurry. The food was surprisingly good. Although the homefries were a tad bit tasteless, It could've used a bit more seasoning. But overall BRAVO! Bread was toasted pretty perfect too! Not to self: ask for a large OJ! Have had dinner at Circle M many times. Tonight we took out from here and we're very pleased. To me, once you take a burger out it becomes very dry, not here. Our hamburgers were juicy and very flavorful. The large dinner salads were fresh and loaded with grilled chicken. French fries were so good. Order was ready when We arrived. Nice employees, clean atmosphere and just really good. read more

Ordered the veggie panini. First bite was full of oil. The veggies were drenched in oil. Totally inedible. Told our waitress. She had the worst attitude. When I told her about the panini, she was like you ate it. No I didnt eat it. All I did was take a bite. Was sick and nauseous after that one bite. At first she didnt want to take it off the bill. Just went here for the first time today since moving to the area. Its a very basic diner, and not many choices. But thats fine by me, I usually just get a burger or omelettes when I go to diners. I had a burger, my girlfriend got a chicken quesadilla and my friend got a veggie burger. There was nothing wrong with the food. Everything was good. I wish it was open 24 hours but they only have normal hours of operation. I order take out from here all the time as I am about to leave my house to pick it up and it's always ready by the time I get there. Very straightforward diner with consistently good food and average waitresses. Whenever I order, which is always the same exact omelette and fries, the fries come out extremely well done even though I always say "please make sure the fries are not well done" beforehand; when I ask for them to please make me some that are not so well done, they always act surprised and inconvenienced and tell their other waitress friend incredulously. Grew up around the corner. Had been a regular here for years and years. Watched the prices climb into the stratosphere while the quality plunged. What about the service? The waitresses by and large are a bunch of geriatric hags and crack-heads with putrid attitudes, too much make-up, too few teeth, bad breath, and dirty tobacco stained fingernails. Think "two broke girls" after 30 years of meth addiction. Mix in some hot flashes, 3" gray roots on an abysmal dye job, and you'll have an idea. When a tuna melt comes to the table disguised as a tuna sandwich with cold cheese slapped on top and Brünhilda the camp guard tells you it will just burn if she takes it back to the kitchen; you know there's a problem. When you tell the owner about it and he starts to ramble inanities about the World Cup; you know that problem pervades the whole place. One oasis shimmering in this wasteland of gloom is G my favorite waitress; who while magical in her own right cannot be expected to save off the speeding demise of this train wreck eatery. Great diner for families with young kids. The staff bends over backward to make sure you're happy. We come almost every Sunday for breakfast and they treat my son like a prince. Food comes super fast and everything is always very tasty. Pancakes and challah French toast are great. I am a big fan of the spinach and feta omelet. The hubby and I did not know what we wanted for dinner. Decided at the last minute to get diner food. I went to Circle M diner on Wantagh Ave in Wantagh. It was excellent. I got the cheeseburger deluxe medium and they cooked it perfect. The tomato slices were big and fresh. The fries were crispy and pickle was nice and tart. My husband got the triple decker turkey club with fries too. He was very happy and only ate half a sandwich. One great tip the waitress told me is that the burger meat is fresh and never frozen. I have no idea why there is a single bad review up here. People really are crazy. I've never eaten one bad item or had one negative thing to say about Circle M. Me and my friends were shaking our heads when we read these reviews particularly about the waitresses. Wow. I can't believe I've eaten so many times and been so pleased yet all these reviews. Honestly, I've had breakfast and lunches and dinners here and its one of best diners i've been to. I love the hot open roast beef sandwich the best. Burgers, eggs, home fries...all of it I've always thought were above average. The pea soup on Tuesdays is best ever had and have gotten takeout many times. My only complaint is that the middle to the back of the place has no windows and can be stuffy. But I've managed to almost always go at off hours when I get seat near front where windows are. Been ordering food here and gone here since 2012. The food is good but only certain things. Steer clear from the burgers and tuna. I've fouond hair in my food and when I tell one of the employees, they give me an attitude and tell me I did that with my hair when it's not the same color as my hair nor do I have pubic hair or coarse hair. why would I put hair in my meal when I want to F'in eat. Second the tuna smelled when I got it the last two times and my stomach was turning. I was vomitting for hours. I called and asked to speak with the manager and " there's no one here to help you" and hung up. The staff is nothing but nasty when I have an issue or if I ask for extra sides mid meal. The manager finally was reachable and apologized for problems and felt sincere. To bad he doesn't seem to repremand his staff. I ordered soup from there recently and AGAIN hair in my soup. I took a photo and showed up, the lady at the desk said she can help me becuase shes to busy and told me to call in the morning. I must be beyond stupid that I keep getting their food but most meals are delicious and the manager is sweet. I will no longer get their food and not reccomend it. My family and frieds have had issues here and there over the years and even staff that's been there forever, were rude. I dont want to stop everyone from going but I wished the manager hired more friendly and positive staff and for the ones who've been there for many years needs to be repremanded or docked shifts until they can check their own attitudes. read more

While the service is quick, I'd say other than a handful of waitresses and the busboys, most of the staff is rude. They always seem like they're in a bad mood or that we are bothering them. What can I say. When I first walked in the young girl who acted some what like a hostess walked me to the very back of the diner. She tried to sit me at a table right in the center of the room. I then asked her for a booth up front. Which 95% of those booths were empty. This kid got an attitude right away. Then to top it off two of the waitresses started arguing. You could hear them loud and clear a third one told them to "shut up" just as loud about 5 times. My food was so greasy it nearly slipped off my plate. The waitress came back within two minutes of serving me and left the check on the table. I didn't even taste my dinner Do yourself a favor don't eat there. Go across to Burger King.
