    Since 1966 but different owners

We went in with a table of 13 people and service was a little bit slow and convoluted. My friend ordered wine she never got. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was slow too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My husband said his pizza was okay. My eggplant was okay as well but Mario's is much better. The lettuce on the salads wasn't crisp. Haven't been here in a long time. They need to improve service for sure! I'd return & try lunch again.

Had lunch at Ciros today & it was pretty good not a bad price for what you get! I liked the soup it was tasty & my pizza too now a couple of my slices got soggy from the oil but it was good overall. Service was pretty good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance could use some sprucing up[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] but I'd come back for the lunch specials for sure or try dinner.

My family has been coming here since 1986! That is roughly 40 years worth of ciros dining. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant has gone through many changes and many owners since then but one thing that constantly stays true is the family Feel as well as the recipes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Those recipes have stayed true to the original owners concept for over 40 years, Ciro's always tends to get the best servers as well and the best cooks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Every time I step into this place it brings back memories of family members that I've lost through the years.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love this place so much and I'm so happy that it's still around! Please give this place a try, it could definitely use your support and you will not be disappointed! I can't say enough good things about this place.

When wanting to have an Italian lunch Ciro's is definitely the place to hit up. Great food choices and excellent customer service. The minestrone soup has not changed in its unique flavor for years.

Real Old School place. I went here when I was a kid 57 years ago. But I gotta say. Veggie Lasagna is on point , garlic bread decent, but the Mannicotti is brilliant. Very affordable prices. Definitely coming back when I'm driving thru again

Great old world Italian. Food & service are fabulous. Easy access in Indio. We love their hearty red sauce. Meatball appetizer for the win.

Just tried calling Ciro's and # has been disconnected. Have they reopened with another # or are they closed permanently?

    Has Ciro's closed down?

No!! They shut down during stagecoach and Coachella. They feed thousands and cannot run the restaurant adequately so they close. We are regulars there.

Do you deliver. I am bedridden and you sound so good? i am on Requa & Oasis.

I want to eat their dessert but always get too full from the sandwiches to try it. If you are ever in the area, must try sandwich shop. The accolades in the back with their story is pretty sweet. It was well after the lunch rush but it was pleasantly busy. Employees were friendly and checking on patrons, serving food and tending to empty tables. We had been waiting awhile, so I carried our number in with me and made note of the numbers they were delivering... which were higher numbers than ours, but also very random. I went to the cash register and asked the employee if they called the numbers in order. She answered politely that no they didn't. I then mentioned we were sitting outside and asked if I should wait inside for my order so they wouldn't have trouble finding us. We were not in a hurry and were trying to make it easy on the hardworking employees....and bonus that it was cool inside *At that point, a man who I perceived was a manager or maybe even the owner , turned to me from behind the counter, handed me a bag and said " Here Ma'am , GO!" Then turned back around to what he was doing. What? GO? I don't know what his intent was because I'm not a mind reader, but it felt rude and dismissive. His facial expression was as though he was busy and or annoyed. I was so surprised at his response in such an otherwise pleasant environment. I'm pretty tolerant of grumpy people (you know, sometimes there's a reason) but this just felt really icky -it was our intended destination after a hot drive from Phoenix and it did not sit well with us. We won't be returning. Food =10 Customer service = so disappointing 3

Kiki's Sala: salanova lettuce is unusual but tasty -- like arugula without the bitterness. This is a large portion which you could share with four people as an appetizer. Sugar Snap Pea pizza: unexpected flavors with snap peas, mushrooms, & stracciatella. Table was divided on whether this worked. Cacio e Pepe: this version uses bucatini and is a little creamier than the classic. I ate it all regardless. Grilled Avocado: the name ignores that it includes fried artichokes as well. Satisfying and not too garlicky. Another large portion. The only disappointing item was the Polenta -- a little bland. If you get the Chicken Parm, you only need a half portion. Jack says the best two dishes are the Caesar and Linguini & Clams. They fly in Juniors cheesecake from NY! Full bar, attractive ambiance, and well trained staff. Go to Kiki's.

Once seated, the service only got better. Our waitress continued to be warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling overbearing. What really impressed us was the owner making the rounds to personally greet each table--it added such a personal, heartfelt touch that you don't often see. As for the food, it absolutely delivered. The chicken parm was perfectly cooked with rich, comforting flavors, and the hanger steak was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Between the exceptional service and the delicious dishes, this was one of those meals that leaves you already planning your next visit.

The menu might be considered small however plenty of excellent choices for everyone's palate. We started with martinis Aviation gin for me & Ketel 1 for my hubs complete with bleu cheeses olives served tall & verrry cold. Our appetizer choice, the deep fried artichokes served with a creamy tasty aioli nicely presented however a bit over salted for our tastes, hence the 4.5 vs 5 stars. We came in to Italica wanting pasta the Bolognese with wild boar/fennel sausage arrived practically overflowing from the bowl, easily could have served 2 or possibly an appetizer to share at the table. My choice the Spaghetti Alio Olio presented bucatini pasta with bread crumbs & pecorino cheese ~ OOOOH MY, sooooo DELICIOUS my bowl was inhaled. Mid meal we ordered the prosciutto ~ fig jam flatbread just perfection the jam adding sweetness in every crunchy bite. To full from our appetizer & pasta we skipped dessert this trip but we'll be back!!!!!! as the drive to Indio from Palm Desert is maybe 30 min (+\~) easy & plentiful FREE PARKING be sure to look for the all stainless patchwork door for entry, once inside relax & enjoy the vibe.
