This is our go to pizza place. The best in the valley. They start you off with fresh bread and butter. We always order the large anti pasta salad, chopped ! Pizza is amazing and I recommend requesting fresh mushrooms as you do have a choice of fresh or canned. We've never been able to get beyond the pizza but I have had pasta dishes in a catering situation and they were fabulous. We like to go on Tuesdays as the large pizzas are half price. We can feed 5 teenagers and 2 adults for about $80. The best buy in the desert and fabulous food to boot! read more

We had been wanting to check this place out for ages and I'm so glad we finally did! As soon as you walk in it smells like some delicious pizza. It was really quiet when we went since they're remodeling but that didn't deter from the overall experience. The service wasn't out of this world, we didn't see her much but she did her job. Food was ok, customer service was horrible. Our waitress was new and in training, which wasn't the problem, her manager with a bad attitude was. We ordered a side Caesar with our order, when they brought me out a surprisingly huge Caesar I asked if this was the side salad? She said yes, we ate some of it and moved on. Our order of Alfredo was never placed, everyone was done eating while the person who ordered the Alfredo didn't get their food, they then proceeded to blame the kitchen..we just told them box it to go. When the bill came I asked the waitress why I was charged a large Caesar, she had no answer, she left and came back with the moody manager which I'm sure is the same one mentioned in other reviews, who proceeded to approach us with the line "I was told their was a problem" "what's the problem?" "Well she made a mistake and brought you a large" with a crap attitude, who then told me I need to pay for their mistake.. why would I have to pay for YOUR mistake (customer service 101) rather then sit and argue with my children present and causing a scene I paid and left If you are the OWNER OF THIS PLACE YOU WILL CONTINUE TO LOSE REGULARS UNTIL GETS THIS SAID MANAGER IN CHECK.. won't be returning or recommend in any of our Airbnb properties as before we would highly advertise this place.. no thanks.. do better Ciro's , need some in house training. read more

Maybe the 2 other yelpers ate at a different ciro's than myself. This was the second visit since they reopened under the current owner. Both visits were an "Epic" fail. For the first visit, my Chicken Marsala, tasted bland lacking any flavor of marsala wine so I sent the dish back. When my dish returned there was a hint of Marsala . I don't mind paying a for a dish but at $16.99 this dish should have had great depth of flavor of Marsala wine which includes a deep rich color to the sauce. Not the pale puddle of lifeless sauce that my chicken breast swam in. The chicken breast was browner than the sauce. I felt as though my chicken breast needed to have a life preserver tossed to it so that it could be saved from this unpleasant sauce. Today's dish was lasagna. First of all it appeared to be bubbling hot when it arrived at my table. As I cut through the center of the Lasagna it was cold to touch. ICK!! How hard is it to take an internal temperature with a probe thermometer? Food poisoning is no joke. Service was much better this time. The building still looks worn and unkept. There is much that needs to be improved in my humble opinion. I wish these new owners best of luck in their journey in food service. I do not recommend this restaurant. read more

My wife heard about their lunch specials starting at $4.95 on TV and suggested we try it. When we got here we found that gets you a cup of soup and a little salad. Whoopee. If you want real food, it's $7.95. OK, let's do that. There are more things to choose from here than most restaurants' lunch specials. Macaroni and cheese? Really? You can also get a small pizza, sandwiches, etc. I thought the chicken parmesan sounded good, and my wife ordered beef ravioli. Oh - the meal also comes with a choice of soup or salad. We both got salads. When we got our entrées, I got a moderately good-sized piece of chicken fairly smothered in spaghetti and sauce. However, her serving of ravioli seemed pathetically small. I had more spaghetti than I could handle, so I gave some of it to her. And we didn't have room for dessert, even though the s'more with ice cream sounded enticing. Was it good, yes, but not THAT good. Not enough to rave about, but OK. Three stars. read more

Chicken Scampi, how embarrassing, my dish had othing to do with the real meal. What I received was plain dried noodles with 5 pieces of dried fried chicken, (I guess), disqusting. No herbs, cheese, spices. just plain as plain can be with no taste. So, for those who want to order the Chicken Scampi! save yourself the money and order something else. As for the people in my group that ordered the Chicken Scampi you can guess we will never return. Also, those that ordered the Eggplant Parmesan were not impressed with their meal either. Sometimes I take a little bit off since I don't like as much on, but most people love the extra toppings on pizza. My boys had the beef ravioli kids meals. Jenn took care of us and her staff were so kind and they made sure we had refills on our drinks and if we needed anything else. We have been coming to this restaurant for many years, not regularly, but when in Indio. I was aware when it changed ownership and the only difference that I noticed was that it became a little more expensive. One can hardly expect that would not be the case. I always think of it as "The Businessman's Lunch Place" and I can't remember being there for dinner, although it is possible. The fare is predictable; pizza, pasta, eggplant Parm and a selection of sandwiches and salads. I can't count the number of times we have eaten here, and we have never had anything that was not altogether acceptable or that we left uneaten. If you are looking for authentic gourmet Italian food, this is not the place for you. However, if you want a straightforward no frills meal that will quell your hunger and give you a sense of satisfaction, come and enjoy. In my opinion it is inexpensive, which makes it appropriate for "The Businessman's Lunch." read more

Had dinner last night with friends. Ciro's has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. I was happy with my meal and our waitress was great. However, the manager was loud and obnoxious. I didn't know who he was initially but I asked the waitress who he was and she let me know it was the manager. He could be heard from our table no matter where he was in the restaurant. At one point he was in the back and we heard him yell "you're f**king killing me" to an employee. I also heard a customer complain it was warm in the restaurant. His response was its hot outside so there was nothing he could do. Very disappointed with this manager's behavior. I hope he isn't there the next time I stop in. read more

I'm a bit befuddled as to how this restaurant can charge so much for such mediocre, straight out of the can food. I ordered the Ciro's deluxe pizza. The mushrooms were obviously straight out of a can. So much for fresh ingredients that you would expect at a restaurant. The crust was so thin on the bottom that it barely possible to get onto a plate without breaking and all the toppings falling off. The salami and pepperoni were undercooked. It was a disappointment. The pizza looked so good too, what a shame. My husband also noted that his dish looked really good - baked correctly and presented nicely - but it completely lacked any sort of seasoning. In his words, the sauce tasted liked a can of tomato paste. Here are the good points - clean restaurant and staff was likeable and attentive. The pizza dough is actually very good once you get to the end of the crust. The breadsticks they serve to you are fresh and tasty. The location is pretty easy to find and there's lots of parking. They offer a rewards program and have daily specials as well. At the end of the day, I was really hoping that this could be our new go-to place since we just moved and need to find a nearby restaurant to go to or order takeout from on regular basis, but based on the food, I'm going to look elsewhere. read more

From the looks of the place, I would not have expected much, but because of the review here, I went in with high hopes. I ordered the Trio Ravioli and a side salad so I could taste this awesome Italian dressing I had read about. I spent $18 and was definitely disappointed. The Ravioli was just ok. I could barely tell the difference between the cheese and the sun-dried tomato ravioli and the mushroom ravioli was just ok. Something was a little off with the pasta sauce also. Couldn't quite put my finger on it. Perhaps it just wasn't my type. The side salad was a little pathetic, basic iceberg salad. A little dry. The dressing was very basic also, store bought flavor. For the price, I don't feel it was worth it. For almost 20 bucks for lunch, you expect a little more flavor. Perhaps I should have stuck with the pizza everyone raved about. My family has been going to this restaurant since before I was born and I've been going for 25 years now. I've since moved away from the desert but every time I come out to visit my parents I always insist on coming to Ciros for at least one dinner. We always get the pizzano.....and it NEVER disappoints. I've also had the mushroom pizza. It is also delicious. You can tell they use fresh (not canned) mushrooms. We LOVE this place. read more

This was a quick pit stop on our road trip and wanted something to be picked. we ordered pizza and pasta nothing fancy and we were told the 15-20min for pickup. Once reached there had to wait another 15 min or so for small order. I guess as this places looks pretty often visited by the locals any takeouts of the small order are lower priority. I am not totally against this jut the hospitality business should respect the timings. Now lets come to the food. The quantities are fine portions. Quality of the pizza and pasta is fine.
