There's no food at this location. Citeadrinks is in a small plaza in Rowland Heights! Service was good and the ambiance is average! The store has an open window store concept where the store has an open window. They have 3 kiosks to order and I liked my drink! I ordered a creamy pistachio drink with purple rice! In addition, I got a 1 L cup! SUPER HUGE! It was creamy and the pistachios added a nice cream. I got less sugar and the rice was sweet enough. TIP: There's no restrooms in this store. Parking is ample but crowded in this parking lot. Be wary of the other cars!

When people ask: "What's your favorite dessert in Hong Kong?" Mango Pomelo Sago. Always my answer -- and a favorite among Hong Kongers This solid Mango Pomelo Sago with yogurt balls is next level. So thick, you eat it with a spoon No water added -- just whole milk yogurt and real mango. The whole family enjoyed it. IG: socalhkfoodies

Went to try their new coco drinks last weekend. There is plenty of parking available. The shop itself is simple. We got the blue rice and mango coco drink and the purple rice and matcha coco drink. First, the drinks look beautiful. They taste even better. I like that they are not overly sweet. Drinking through the various layers is a great way to taste each flavor profile. Then giving it a good stir to mix it all up is a great way to combine all the flavors. Great drinks and friendly service make this a place for you to come and visit.

Asian spot, aesthetically and in their offerings. Yogurt, rice, as well as milk tea. Some to-go fridge for quick in-and-out. 3.5% Credit card fee if you use their kiosk to order. The cup was sticky/worker spilled rice mix on the outside. I enjoy their lid.

I really enjoyed my mango pomelo yogurt drink! It had that barley popping Boba, which is super fire - this drink is super filling so keep that in mind.

Overall, good drinks. They have plenty of options and some drinks I've never heard of (duck shit). The matcha is good and creamy with just enough peach flavor. The lychee flavor was good and there were good bits of lychee mixed in. The service was pretty quick and the ambience is fun with the cute bears and an old school fun.

Really enjoyed my drink at Citedrinks ,The milk tea was smooth and well balanced, not too sweet, and the pearls were fresh and chewy. The layered drink looked great and tasted even better. Service was fast and friendly, and the shop was clean and comfortable. Definitely a solid spot for milk tea -- I'll be coming back.

I decided to try this spot on a hot Sunday. I was the only customer this early so service was friendly and quick. The inside is very small with no tables, so expect to get your drink and leave. Got the peach oolong tea and honestly it was very smooth.

    Avocado & Kale Rice Lava

This is such an underrated spot, especially if you come here during their happy hour (it is a steal). The place was never crowded neither. I ordered their avocado & kale rice lava 牛油果羽衣甘蓝冰浆 with less sugar and no topping 10/10. It is really unique, I don't think I have had something like this from elsewhere even 3Cat. I would definitely comeback and try their other drink too.

It was so nice in here, I got the mango pomelo yogurt. Its nice and refreshing, the coconut yogurt has no tang like ostracized yogurt does. Def coming back for this

Drinks got "revamped" supposedly, but everything got worse. Came here when they first open and the drinks were pretty good. Just ordered the same drinks I got as the first time...and I'm never coming back here. Price went up, drink quality went down. I was trying to stir my drink and all I felt was ice, I poured out my tea in another cup just to see exactly how much ice was in the cup, the cup had a little over 3/4s full. Crazy. Go next door to Little Tea or Tenju, you are better off there!

I came here, so I could order a Boba tea with a tea pot on top. It looks so cute on the Instagram post. It turns out a teapot is $10 and when I got it they don't even have dry ices coming out of the pot. They tell me I need to get it on my own . $18 for a drink with the stupid T pot doesn't even have smoke coming out. What a rip off. We'll never come back here to buy Boba because there's so many of them around.

    Pink lychee matcha

Place was dirty, no customer service unfortunately, and with a B rating. Matcha drink was different than what im used to. Similar to a melted ice cream taste, along with oats as the "popping boba". Would prefer more match flavor next time

Matcha lovers, this one is worth the stop…read more I visited Chayan not too long after they opened, and this was such a good find in Rowland Heights. First of all, the space itself is beautiful. The traditional Chinese-inspired aesthetic gives the shop such an elegant, calm atmosphere. It isn't overly flashy or trying too hard to be trendy--it just feels peaceful and thoughtfully put together. Definitely the kind of place where you can slow down and actually enjoy your tea. But let's talk about the reason I came here: the Matcha Green Tea Frappe. SO. GOOD. What immediately stood out to me was that this didn't taste like one of those drinks where the actual matcha gets completely buried underneath sugar. You can genuinely taste the matcha and the quality of the tea. It has that distinct matcha flavor while still being creamy and enjoyable. And the topping?! Instead of just throwing regular whipped cream on it, they top it with whipped matcha and roasted peanuts, which gives it this really interesting combination of creamy, earthy, nutty flavors. The peanuts add a little texture and complement the matcha surprisingly well. It tasted intentional rather than just sweet for the sake of being sweet. That's probably my biggest recommendation before coming here: if you're looking for an extremely sugary, dessert-style matcha, this may not be what you're looking for. This is much more about actually tasting the tea. If you want something loaded with sugar where the matcha disappears somewhere in the background... Starbucks is right there. But if you appreciate a more balanced drink where you can actually taste good-quality matcha, I absolutely recommend giving Chayan a try. Beautiful atmosphere, quality tea, unique flavors, and an overall really relaxing experience. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

LOCATION & PARKING This CHAYAN is located inside Pacific Plaza on Colima Rd. The parking lot is shared with the other businesses in the plaza, and it's not very big, so parking can sometimes be a little limited. The shop is on the ground level, right next to the stairs that lead up to the second floor. ORDERING & ATMOSPHERE Once you walk into the store, there are two self-order kiosks on the left where you can place your own order. You can also walk straight to the counter and have one of the staff members help you. The staff members I interacted with were nice and friendly. Usually, there aren't too many customers inside, so the atmosphere tends to be pretty quiet and relaxing. PEACH OOLONG MILK TEA I've visited this place twice. The first time, I ordered the Peach Oolong Milk Tea with their chestnut boba--or whatever their specialty topping is called. Sorry, I forgot the exact name, but it's definitely not the regular black boba. The drink was pretty good. It wasn't overly sweet, and I liked how the peach flavor blended nicely with the tea. You could still taste the tea instead of the peach flavor completely overpowering it. DA HONG PAO MILK TEA The second time, I ordered the Da Hong Pao Milk Tea with the same chestnut topping. This one was decent as well. Nothing crazy or mind-blowing, but still an enjoyable milk tea. OVERALL Both times I came here, I had a good experience. I'm giving CHAYAN 4 stars because while none of the drinks really "wowed" me, they were still good enough for me to consider this place above average overall. Friendly staff Nice and quiet atmosphere Drinks aren't overly sweet Good tea flavor Easy ordering with kiosks or at the counter The drinks just need a little more of that "wow factor" for me to give this place a full 5 stars. Will definitely come back again and try some of their other drinks!

It's located in the same plaza as Chubby Skewers with a large shared parking lot, though the plaza itself can get busy. Ordering is easy through the self-service kiosks, and they also have a rewards program. The staff was incredibly friendly. My partner decided at the last minute that he wanted to add their mini pearls, and they happily accommodated the change without any hassle. I got the large macchiato (around $6). I would've liked a stronger tea flavor, but considering the price point, not bad. The mini boba wasn't my favorite, but if you plan on adding it, I'd recommend asking for light boba unless you're a serious boba lover. My partner's drink was probably close to 40% boba, which was a little much for our taste. Just know this is strictly a grab-and-go kind of place. There aren't any indoor tables, although plenty of people were hanging out with their drinks outside. Likely would come back to try their other drinks!

The presentation of their fresh milk mochi (鲜奶麻薯) bowls and dip-and-stretch mochi desserts is undeniable--it makes for great photos, and the shop itself is super bright and clean. The stretchy texture of the milk mochi base was fun and delightfully soft, and components like the taro paste and purple rice had a nice, subtle sweetness. However, for the price point, the execution fell a little short. Some of the toppings felt under-prepared; the taro balls lacked that fresh, springy chewy elasticity you want in a shaved ice/mochi bowl, and the coconut jelly base tasted slightly watered down instead of rich. Logistics wise, the service was quite slow even though the store wasn't very busy, and parking in this Labin Court plaza can be a complete nightmare during peak evening hours. It's a solid place to stop by once for the aesthetic and novelty, but given the steep competition for Asian desserts in Rowland, it doesn't quite hit top-tier status for me.

The smooth, light, melt-in-your-mouth custard is nice and thick, so the ratio of custard to crust is like 15:1 (how it should be, in my opinion!). Pictures do it no justice--you absolutely have to try it. I tried it the next morning after refrigeration and microwaving for 22sec, and it was so delicious, I finished the entire piece!
