Everything felt thoughtfully made, especially if you love tea-forward flavors with fun textures. Standouts for me were the Hojicha Einspanner which was deep, smooth hojicha flavor with a perfectly creamy top and the Mango Coco Blue Rice, which had a strong mango taste and a super smooth consistency. I also loved how refreshing the Lychee Oolong was; light, floral, and balanced nicely with basil seeds and lychee jelly. Even the more experimental drinks (like the avocado and blue rice combos) were surprisingly smooth and well executed. You can tell they care a lot about quality tea and texture. Visited here after eating and saw they had options of pre-made drinks and drinks you can order on the kiosk to be made, which I thought was cool. I ended up getting this Mango Sago drink from the pre-made drinks area and it was pretty good. The sago wasn't as chewy bc it's been saturated with the liquid but I still enjoyed it. They had a lot of options, which I appreciated. The interior looked almost futuristic and had lots of large tables if you ever wanted to bring a group of people there to hangout. I recently visited Citeadrinks after seeing their cute mini teapots online, but I was disappointed to find out that they only give you the teapot if you leave a 5-star review. That didn't feel authentic to me, so I didn't get one. The teapot you see in my photo belongs to my friend. The shop offers durian drinks, so be aware that the place has a strong durian smell. If you're not a fan of that aroma, the environment might not be the most enjoyable. They're known for their Duck Sh*t tea, but I found it a bit underwhelming. The Duck Sh*t milk tea tasted like a regular oolong milk tea--not bad, but nothing special. The Duck Sh*t lemon tea was just sour and didn't hit the mark for me. The strawberry yogurt drink was okay as well, but again, not particularly memorable. When we asked for recommendations, the guy at the register didn't seem to have any solid suggestions, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the drinks are decent but not standout. I tried the jasmine milk tea and osmathus oolong milk tea and lemme tell you that it was so good!! DEFINITELY ONE OF MY NEW FAVORITES!! It's refreshing, light, not too sweet and the flower tea fragrant was strong. It really reminded me of the teas I got in Taiwan. I didn't request any sugar and ice adjustments to try it and it was PERFECT!! Even though it's a milk tea, it's so light you think your drinking tea. Also look at that cute cup!! The drinks come in a pretty pink cup with and the cup lid is the lid of the traditional Chinese covered bowl tea. They also use a special straw to drink this milk tea. The store is so decorated and cool! Will be back for more! Parking can be chaotic at prime dinner or lunch time. Known for their fresh fruit teas and drinks, as well as their aesthetic interior and the fact that you can add CBD as a topping to their drinks (at least for their SGV location the last time I visited), Citea has opened a location in Rowland Heights! They're located in that unfortunately fisted Galleria market plaza with Yoshinoya and Pizza Chicken Love Letter, so just know that parking can get ugly, even with the spots in the back. It took over the spot where another boba place fell ages ago and now this plaza has...I think 3+ boba places? It's gonna be tough competition for sure. We ordered to drink at home and they had a deal where it was BOGO free for 2 of the same drink (ordered via Uber Eats). We got the: 1) Mochi Black Rice Mocha Latte: -This was the drink that we were able to get the BOGO free deal with so we got 2 of them. -It's possible to adjust the ice and sugar level so we got less ice and less sweet. -It has a heavy mocha taste to it that is somewhat bitter, but despite this and the sweetness adjustment, it is still quite sweet. -It also leans to the side of more of a dessert than a beverage drink since it comes with the really dense mochi and rice topping. -I was able to drink maybe 1/3 of one of these before giving BOTH to my brother who ended up just straining the drink out of the toppings since it was much too rich even for him to enjoy unfortunately. 2) Milo Dinosaur: -There is no sweetness adjustment for this drink, but I was able to customize the ice level to less. -This only comes in the large size. -Lots of milo powder on top and there's some fruit jellies at the bottom which I thought was a bit strange for a heavily chocolate taste profile for the drink. -As there was no sweetness adjustment for this drink, it was WAY too sweet for my taste despite being a Milo/Ovaltine/Horlicks enjoyer. -I did take a bit to dilute with milk to enjoy a bit of it, but ended up giving it to my brother. 3) Durian White Moon Light: -This comes in a large and small size and we opted for the small size. -We got this less sweet, but it was still quite sweet from the coconut flavor. -There's durian flavoring to this slush/smoothie icy type drink and a little bit of actual durian on top. -I'm not the biggest durian fan but my parents said it was alright, but wished there was more real durian to it haha. Overall a kinda mediocre experience unfortunately. Maybe it would have been better if I just stuck to their fruit drinks. Next time potentially. read more

We didn't plan to get some drinks since we just had dinner and drinks somewhere else, but then I saw their Double durian looks good and had good reviews. So we order the durian and also some promo about get another drinks free. We order this "Lychee fermented rice & Osmanthus oolong tea" despite the long name, this is the best drink for the night. The double durian is quite a disappointment because, the durian meat at the bottom is about 1 small tea spoon and the icee is too water down no creaminess or no milk at all. Staff are nice with little english the 2 that we interacted. That's not a problem at all we just want to know their favorite drinks. Ambiance and decor is the reason why I am intrigued to walked in because they have about 4-5 Be@rbricks which collected the small size of them way back in the days in late 90's at Comic Con SDCC. Ordered online and the drinks were ready when I arrived. The entire time I was there chilling I noticed that most orders come from online so I recommend doing that. I enjoyed the dragon fruit yogurt drink but mine wasn't blended as well as I would like. I gave it a few stirs and it was to more to my liking. I don't know if that's the way it's prepared or if it's because they were swamped with orders. They have fridges with ready made drinks and other items. For those items you pay via a QR code. This is in a very busy plaza full of other boba tea competitors but this stood out to me since they advertised DURIAN smoothies! I definitely had to try it. So if you live around here , you already know how full this parking lot gets. I arrived here a little before 6 pm , and there was still some parking spaces left. So if you want to avoid hunting for parking , then arrive way before meal times . In my first visit, I ordered the Avocado Kale Pistachio smoothie. I really enjoyed this drink because it had a healthy sweet flavor. I especially liked having chunks of pistachio with every sip. There are many more drinks in the menu that I am interested in. The boba was $1.50 and defrosted in individual bags before being dumped into the cups. You have better luck going ChaReDefine or A Little Tea next door in the same plaza.
