    Pick Two Meats

In the world of Columbus BBQ, City has been a disappointment. Picked the two meat combo but I had to pay extra to have the ribs and beef brisket. Both left me high and dry. I like my meats to fall off the bone. Good meat on the ribs but just super dry. Brisket had no moisture. Potato salad was ok and I liked my toast. But just disappointing for the price. Columbus has to do better.

Everything was good. The menu was easy to navigate. We made our choices and cashed out after we cashed out. The cashier told us about the senior discount which we both would've qualified for, but she waited till after we paid to tell us. That was kind of a negative. But we got our food and the food was really good

    Crispy Baked Potato

We went to City BBQ tonight to try the new crispy baked potatoes. It was a joke! I ordered a plain potato, with butter on the side. My husband got one with pork. When it came out, I had a half of a small potato. Looked like potato skin with about an inch of potato attached-no butter. I took it up to the counter, she informed me that's the way they do it--a half of a small potato---that is not a baked potato!!! She offered to bring out the other half, to which I said, YES! What a huge disappointment-and of course it looked nothing like the picture. My husband says his was ok-and for some reason had more potato ‍. Think we'll stick with Skyline for our baked potato cravings. One last thing-how are these "baked" potatoes. They have been fried!

Ok, the City Barbecue near my house hurt my feelings because I don't recall seeing an announcement in my email, warning that they were being demolished for reconstruction. I had to find out while driving by and screaming like a little girl upon that shocking discovery. Well, I DID get an email a few weeks later, offering me $5 off to visit another location in its absence. Which I did. Although there was a line, it moved quickly and the young lady at the register was exceptionally kind. I ordered my traditional sausage dog and potato salad. I don't know what I can say that is different from my old review of my 'home' location, but their sausage is definitely worth the price of admission. It has a nice kick to it, enhanced by the grilled sausage and onions that request be added. Surround that with Texas Toast for bread and you've got a hit. And if you know me well enough, aftertaste can make or break a deal. Of course, I click the "Yes" box on that one. Passed with flying colors. Their potato salad is easily the best I've ever had, at ANY restaurant. I've been known to go through there just to get that side item in a larger container. This visit was no exception. I won't drive out that far just to get food, but I CAN say that when I AM in that area, it's probably the ONLY place I'll go.

This place is great especially for take out. This was a last minute idea as neither one us us wanted to cook so we ordered dinner to go. Registration and ordering on the website was pretty user friendly. Have to look around a bit and decided what we wanted. Just a note, for the 1/2lb of meat, it is an option under the Meats by the pound. Ordered 1/2 lb of pulled pork with original BBQ, and a 1/2lb of beef brisket with original BBQ for a variety. Also added a quart of green beans with bacon and scheduled a pick up time. Arrived and food was ready on time. Checked the bags and everything was included. I did ask to add to another BBQ cup as only three were there for the two of us and those are pretty small. The food did not disappoint and was so good. Easy process. Good food and food experience. Plan on using them again for dinner.

This is one of my favorite BBQ spots in Westerville!! I'm going to try out their salad and banana pudding next!

Stopped in to my local City Barbeque today. Greeted by DeJuan the Manager. He's been with them for around 13-14 years and definitely knows his barbeque. Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. Ordered the sausage, baked beans, corn pudding and potato salad. The sausage is a coarse ground with a great casing to it, put it on grilled Texas toast and some Fire BBQ sauce and Yummmy. Beans are made with a nice thick sauce and chunks of brisket. Delicious!! Corn pudding is off the chart, no one else makes it. Then there is the Potato Salad, Yummmy, it is made with mayonnaise, red potatoes, celery and onions. Some of the best in town. If you haven't been to this location, check it out. You won't be disappointed.

We loved the peach burrata, so fresh and the arugula was tossed in a rich olive oil with grainy salt. We only wished we had more bread because it was so good! Large seating area, so even though it was noon on a Saturday we were able to be seated. Also got the High Bank House Salad without tomatoes and swapped out the blue cheese for pecorino. They were very accommodating of substitutions which made it easy for us to relax and enjoy. Salmon bowl was well seasoned and the flavors complimented eachother well. Very well cooked salmon, not overdone and a good cut of meat. Tasted as expected.

The side of fries were amazing due to the sauce. Got myself another drink which was the popsicle stand which tasted like a 50/50 bar Had a pair of friendly servers with one in training. Ended the night with a butter cake. Large serving but too much compote for my liking. Overall great experience for both! It was early so we were seated right away. Our server, Candi, was friendly and attentive to us. Even though it was breakfast time, we decided to have lunch items (a BIG plus for us being able to do this). I had the fish sandwich without coleslaw (don't hate) with fries and Mindy had the bologna sandwich with sweet potato fries. The order came out quickly and was hot. Mindy gave the sandwich a 5-6 out of 10. She is a ranch "snob" (her words not mine) and said it was not good. Her sweet potato fries did not have any flavor. My fish was hot but did not have flavor either, even after adding salt and pepper to it. My fries were okay, but nothing special. Overall, we were not impressed with Delaniey's Diner with the exception of our server. She did a great job and was attentive to our needs. Our beverages never went below half before she refilled them which is a big plus for us. Food - 2 stars Service - 4 stars

I ordered the country fried steak and eggs with toast. The meal arrived lukewarm, and it seemed like only the sausage gravy was even moderately warm. I personally prefer my breakfast food served hot, so this was disappointing. My boyfriend ordered scrambled eggs, sausage, and French toast. The eggs were not cooked well done as requested, the sausage was just okay, and the French toast didn't arrive until nearly 20 minutes later. When it finally came out, it was warm at best and quite dry. We understand restaurants can have off days, but overall the food quality and temperature fell short of expectations. Sadly, this isn't a place we would recommend based on our experience.

Whom placed me at a very nice table. I looked over the menu, which had a little something for everybody. To be honest I liked that, plus there wasnt an over abundance of items... it was that goldilocks moment... just right. I decided to try the grape leaves. I asked if they had made them themselves and they did -which is what pushed me in the direction. You get two very stuffed grape leaves --that are definitely made in house. I was not really a fan of the lemon sauce that they use. I didnt dislike it, I felt it was a tad too thick and not enough lemon. However, I seemed to eat all of it, which is something I dont do at most places, so despite it needing more lemon I must of liked it more than I initially realized. As far as ambience, it still has the footprint of the former sushi restaurant. the bar is completely unchanged. however, they have these lovely little lilac flowers or Japanese cherry flowers hanging from trellises throughout the entire back dining room. makes it look lovely. This transforms it into its own identity. i liked it. They had soft music playing. I wasn't sure if it was Mediterranean or Spanish, but I enjoyed it. I liked my time there The one thing that needs mentioned is the pricing of the salad proteins. This is confusing. I was going to order a salad but the menu had it listed the price of a salad. Them below protiens. The price listed on menu is not in addition to salad. Its the final price of the salad. I did not realize that and thus didnt order the salad. I also didn't like being quoted 10.80 for my total and then having it changed because I used American Express to 11 something. Personally, I feel businesses should make it a little easier for their customer in the cost of doing business should be at the restaurants expense in that situation. I probably would've tipped more had they not popped up my price Tbo Would I come back? absolutely. However, I will bring cash the next time so my bill doesnt go up. Lol.
