Tracy and the team here are amazing! As a college student who woke up to a swiped car due to a hit and run, I was calling body shops left and right looking for a quick, reasonably priced fix. The most knowledgeable and pleasant person I spoke to was Tracy. City Body Repairs was the only place that was able to replace my side mirror (and paint it to match the car) in a mere 4 hours. All other places that I called were not nearly as efficient in obtaining the part or doing the repair- most quoted a week long turnaround time. Time is money and a week is far too costly. They replaced my side mirror and bumped out the dents in my fender that were scraping against the door. The paint that they mixed together matched my car's to a tee. Not only did they paint the mirror, they touched up scratches and scrapes on my car and even gave me a small bottle of touch-up paint for my own use. In summation, top tier customer service (Yelp review inducing speaks volumes in and of itself) and best turnaround time I found in the area. read more

I went to City Body looking to make my 2015 Jeep Srt stand out. I spoke with Lano and Tracy and they turned my Jeep into a dream. They helped me get a carbon fiber hood and did a heck of a job on the diamond mesh in between the hood slits which they colored acid green. I also got a carbon fiber grill that had diamond mesh colored acid green. They colored my break calipers acid green, shaved my side emblems, colored my SRT emblem acid green, tow hitch cover SRT acid green, rear jeep emblem colored polished black and they cleaned up my rear number where my exhaust tips had melted some of the rear bumper. Did an absolute amazing job. I get compliments everywhere I go. Going back for more! read more

Car accidents suck. Period. Over a decade ago, in the SJSU 4th Street garage, my poor little Honda Civic was backed into by some bruiser in a Bronco. It turned out it was one of my professors! I took my car to City Body Repair and they did a great job of fixing my sweet little car. Two weeks ago, someone rear ended my CRV. I remembered how great City Body was all those years ago and gave them a call. They were wonderful - helpful and professional from the first phone call. They went over the damage to my car with the other driver's insurance adjuster and then went over the damage with me. In just under a week, my car was perfect! The folks at City Body did a fantastic job of communicating with me and getting my car repaired perfectly. Totally happy with City Body service and with smiles too. A couple years ago I tangled with a cement pole in our parking garage. It didn't hurt the pole, but it took off my side mirror and made damage to car door and back and over the rear tire. They gave me a good repair price, I was very happy with the work once finished. Since then I have tangled with a garage door hitting my car and leaving rubber marks that was a year ago. And yesterday while at a doctors office someone left their white paint over the back driverside tire, so much it looked to be to the metal on my car. Today I went by City Body to see cost of repair and happy joy they were able to buff off the white car paint, plus the rubber mark from a year ago, and all without a charge to me. City Body Repairs did a great job repairing our car after it got rear ended by a Lexus LS430. The paint job was great and the repair was done right with no rattle or uneven gap. Lano really took the time to show me the damages after they did the take apart inspection and he carefully explained how they are going to fix the car. They took the initiative to contact the insurance company and do all of the communication part for us. They kept us in the loop and made sure to look after our interest to make sure the repairs were taken care of properly. Our car looks amazing! Ugh!! No stars for this shop...I was in a bind in getting my car repaired and had to go to this shop as the shop my insurance company referred was busy and offered a three week timeframe before service. I dropped the car and received a call from Lano Sr. a couple of days later that there was more damage than the previous estimate. He asked me to visit and see the damage and in meeting him and seeing the damage I could see he was correct. I asked him to call me with any updates from the insurance company with next steps of repair or making the car a total loss and then I would determine next steps. I didn't received a call for a couple of weeks until I finally received a call from the office manager saying the car was severely damage and I wouldn't get any money for it. I called thee insurance company who said the car was a loss but they then informed me that the auto body as insisting in charging $75.00 a day for storage which totaled nearly $2,000.00. We were scammed. No notification a meter was running, no phone calls from the shop and or Lano Sr. about fees. AND I never signed anything in regards to any fees and or storage. The did a great job matching paint on my Jaguar. They are the only Jaguar authorized body shop in the Bay Area and are expert in matching those very difficult light colored, metallic paints.
