I'm easy to get along with...but my gawd. 9 months without a car to drive, once the car is there they will hold it hostage and would not let me remove it under no circumstances. I almost got into a fist fight with one of the guys because they wouldn't let me take my car out. If I can save 1 person I feel like my job has been done. They used to be so busy and now they barely have any clients, I pass by everyday on my way home. Terrible people to deal with and in all honesty I don't know how the receptionists deal with the stress because after 5 months I was a complete dick when I called 3 times a day to get updates. My Tesla 3 got hit from behind and the car was no longer able to charge. Geico was great as well. They told me just pick any shop. I got quotes from a couple of places but they all keep stalling. So one phone call to City Collision Center and the accept the job at ease. The place was big and busy. Still they took my business and me a quote in a day. Told me when it would be ready, which was 2 months but it was reasonable because of the damage. Upon pick up was easy, Ormarion was very helpful. I dropped my car off at the Tesla Buena Park service center to repair a minor scratch and it was contracted out to City Collision. Prior to dropping it off at Tesla, I enabled speed limit mode to 50 mph just to make sure my car wouldn't be driven recklessly. While my car was being driven back to Tesla from city collision, I received 4 alerts that it was approaching 50 mph. At first I didn't think much of it until I picked up my car and took a closer look at the energy consumption graph. Based on the graph and alerts I received it was glaringly obvious that my car was driven recklessly by City Collision employees on the 5 mile drive back to the Tesla dealer. Please be aware that your car will be driven recklessly if you choose to have work done at City Collision and if you're a Tesla owner enable speed limit mode and monitor your energy consumption. read more

Terrible shop to deal with when it comes to a minor accident. It is almost 2 months now and they are still waiting on parts. (Maybe Ford no longer makes cars... or something) I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau and they scored a D+. I have received nothing but excuses and false expectations on when I will get my car back. First it was this week, then that week, then this date.... so on and so forth! I don't understand how they dare charge my insurance over $8,000.00 at this point - unless they are calling it car storage! I'm very disappointed with their lack of customer service and communication. Beware of this shop. read more

After being rear ended in my bmw, I knew I wanted to take to to City Collision because my boyfriends family had previously taken their Tesla here and it came out great! Bianca at the front desk was very informative and answered all my questions since I've never been in a car accident before. The drop off process was seamless. The only issue during this time was the insurance not wanting to pay for OEM. Luckily, JP did an outstanding job by fighting for my repairs and advocating for me. My car ended up being done will all OEM, as they're BMW Certified ! He made sure I was only paying my deductible and insurance didn't do anything unfair. My car was done quickly, I'm sure it would have been ever faster if insurance was prompt on the suplemental claims. I fully recommend this shop for collisions ! We received an estimate within a couple hours dropped the car off the next day and it was ready to go within three days. Looked absolutely amazing like nothing ever happened. I had a problem with my Raptor making a strange noise, coming from the bed area. I took it to the dealership and they told me it was possibly loose bed bolts. They recommended I see City Collision Center and gave me the name Angel as a contact. I called Angel and he immediately gave me an appointment for diagnosis. Upon meeting with Angel he was one of the most accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable people in the auto body shop business I've ever met. After I explained my problem he brought in one of his service guys to diagnose the problem. Within 30-45 minutes he came back and they had figured out it was a bad leaf spring, not bed bolts. He recommended I go back to the dealership for the mechanical repair, Which I did. Angel had called the dealership and explained what they had found and his recommendations to replace both leaf springs. After speaking to Angel and confirming his diagnosis the dealership replaced both leaf springs and my truck runs like new. Angel went above and beyond to help get my truck working correctly and come to find out it was a dealership issue not a body shop issue. Angel secured me as a customer from now on-his attention to detail, his willingness to help and eagerness to make things right have convinced me there are still people in this world who have pride in themselves and their careers. He truly made me feel as though the customer comes first. City collision center should be proud to have him as a representative. read more

Katella shop is trash I've work with a few shops around the area for body work on different cars never one so unprofessional. Oscar takes my phone number doesn't call for weeks then calls Friday on a speaker phone that doesn't hardly work at 3:30 for me to run down and pay before they close. Take me off speaker you lazy :) and UMMMM NO! I'm over an hour away and in Friday traffic are you high? They tells me he doesn't have my email- so he couldn't contact me. your problem- you never asked for it. YOU HAD MY PHONE NUMBER. Text and calls are just as easy as email. I will definitely NEVER USE A CITY COLLISION FOR ANYTHING EVER AGAIN. The work was also not good but not my car or choice of shop so I'm done with this mess. Oscar needs a new profession he's way to comfortable being lazy here. Management is not much better. They only have a one word vocabulary "sorry" and a deer in the headlight look. My experience with my car repair was horrible. I was referred by a Tesla employee at the Buena Park location. I constantly had to call to receive an update and was told I would get a call back. A few days later I had still not received a call with an update. Once my car was ready, I went to the shop to pick it up. The admin notified the person assigned to my car that it needed to be pulled out. I sat and waited as he scrolled through Instagram and read some comments. Maybe this is why I would never receive an update. Once I finally did get to speak to someone I was told Covid affected their staff on site. I understand that but it shouldn't take over a week for a response or update. Also when a customer is waiting any non-related work activities should not take priority.
