I've taken 3 vehicles here now for body damage and every time they come back perfect. Eric is good with the estimates. On my first truck he gave me a $1800 estimate to fix some door damage and when I agreed and went back to pick up the truck he informed me the damage was easier to fix than they originally thought and only charged me $1300. Get emails from Veronica a couple times a week letting me know what's going on with the vehicles which is very nice. Won't be going anywhere else. Would recommend anyone to go here. read more

I've been waiting for almost 2 weeks to get my car back and all it needed was the bumper to be painted. I've gotten every excuse under the sun. I was told Wednesday I'd have it Thursday then that turned I to Friday and nothing. No one even bothered to call me waited all weekend and it's now Tuesday at 6:15 and still no car. I'm literally giving them any stars because they did work to the vehicle but I will never use them again I wish my dealership never sent my car there. Took my truck in to get repaired, they gave me an estimate of 3 weeks. 2 months later I still didn't have my truck. After a chain of emails with Veronica their receptionist I finally get the green light to pick up my truck. I go in and it turns out that the truck is still missing 2 parts. I wait another month and then I am told that my truck is ready. I call Friday evening letting them know that I am on my way to pick up my truck and will be arriving shortly. I arrive a littler after 7:30pm. When I arrive all the lights are off, please keep in mind that their hours of operation on Fridays are from 8am-8pm so I had arrived 30min before closing and yet they had decided to close early. I waited around and then an employee opened the gate I told him I was there to pick up my truck he made a call and told me to sit tight for about 10min that the owner was on his way to give me my truck. By 8:30pm I had decided to give up. I wrote Veronica an email and I did not get a response until the following week. They agreed to drop of my truck at my home since I don't have time to be playing games. I was working when they dropped off my truck, once I got home I realized that they had stripped the paint off of my tailgate and didn't bother repainting it. In other words my truck came back from the body shop in worse condition than when I took it in. Again I emailed veronica and she told me to bring it in. I asked how they were going to remedy the situation before I continued wasting my time. They never replied. Worst business experience I have ever had, complete incompetence on every level of this business, from the owner, to shop workers, to estimators, to the receptionist. Getting work done is never easy but they made it super easy. Or so I thought when I needed to get ahold of the person who was assigned my car I could never get ahold of him. They made mistakes after mistakes; from ordering the wrong parts or not calling me back until days after. When I did finally received my car there were 4 long scratches on my car, and they proceeded to put the wrong tire on my car. The staff was efficient, and very helpful to fix those mistakes, but they were ones that should not have happened at such a nice place. read more

Terrible shop to deal with when it comes with anything. They make excuses on waiting for insurance to pay them, they tried charging my insurance 8,000 ( when my car is only worth that much) due to mostly cosmetic work. Then once my insurance paid them they gave me my car still broken, I took it back to them asking them to fix the things that they claimed to have been fixed but then they blamed me for breaking the car. These people are rude scammers and every time i called they just told me they would call me with an update. Not helpful at all. Very un-professional and rude shop to work with. After taking my car to a real establishment it was proven that the things they "fixed" were not fixed. They did a half-ass job on my car and i will never take my car here again. Where do I start? Victor and Gary are absolutely awesome. Luckily this was the first time I was in an accident and wasn't sure how to proceed with the insurance, cost, frustration, etc, but Victor and Gary made it super easy literally every step of the way. Firstly, they are both super friendly which makes the experience easier, whenever I'm in a shop for maintenance I always get a vibe that the workers are doing the quick and dirty job and trying to sell extra stuff/repairs that I don't need, I didn't feel that way at all here. Next onto the repairs, the front end damage was clean cut and as soon as the insurance approved the repairs they got to work immediately, getting everything taken care of as fast as possible. They even went out of their way to make arrangements to drop it off on a Sunday night and meet me at the shop, amazing. Finally, they went the extra mile again to do an awesome job detailing my car for free, I was super surprised, my car literally looked better than it did when I bought it, and completely unexpected. Also there was a repair that the insurance company said wasn't covered and once I came to pick up the car was amazed that they had replaced it! This has been the most disappointing and frustrating body shop I have ever dealt with . My TESLA was damaged on September 1, and sent to this shop @ the recommendation of my insurance. This is the sixth month going on and still no vehicle. Their office staff sends two generic emails a week supposedly to give you an update that invariably states its undergoing repair. Granted it took two months for TESLA to send all the parts but this is the third month for them working on it. In December, when the office stated it should be completed by Jan 25, 2019, I spoke to supervisor Eric who said it should not take that long and will be completed sooner. We are in February and still no car. Don't take your car here unless you do not care for when it is completed. read more

I brought my ML350 in for an estimate on some repairs after having received an estimate from a different shop. Not only did they drastically beat the original estimate, they guaranteed my car to be ready sooner than the initial shop I went to. I was extremely satisfied with the work, professionalism and a bonus, the gorgeous waiting area. The manager explained in detail the work that would be completed. On the day I picked up my car he walked me thru all the repairs that were made to ensure my satisfaction. Our new car was damaged due to an act of vandalism. Our insurance company referred us to City Collision who gave us an estimate and within 24 hours our auto insurance company who works with them was on things to get our car fixed. City Collision is a cool looking place with very cool people - Erik, who gave us an estimate; Karla, who offered me refreshments while I waited. Everyone we had contact with was professional and extremely helpful. Arrangements were made for the rental car company to pick us up and drop us off when the car was ready right there at the shop. Our car looks great, and even smells brand new again! They made an unpleasant experience with our car due to how it was damaged to very pleasant one. So, thank you!!! I didn't do much research on the spot since we headed straight there to get a quote and look at the damages with City Collision. Gary and his team took great care of me and the car letting me know how much time it would take to get the car repaired. This place is all luxury but can't event put an acura tl back together. I took my car there about a year and a half ago and turns out the work they did was all cheap work. To begin with they had lost my brand new spare wheel kit and keys for my rims and on top of that there were pieces missing here and there and the emblem was placed upside down. I took it back and they gave me some dirty kit and a cheap but lock set as far as the emblem went they just scraped it off and placed it right side up. The paint started cracking and I am now experiencing problems with my steering alignment and suspension which were all areas that they worked on. I just recently paid 900 dollars to repaint the damaged area all over again and they too told me that the paint was not done right. I would save my time and go somewhere else. I still have to go check my steering because as of today I don't feel safe driving my car. It's a beautiful place and they promise the world. That's as far as it goes... just promises. In reality, I've never seen so much incompetence, delays and excuses . First they told me I had to leave my car there to get an estimate which has never happened in 40 years of driving. State farm needed an additional estimate. and said" just send it'll be approved ". City said they would send it the next day. Two days later I call ...it has not been done. I got a bad feeling. they've already broken their first promise .I nagged them into doing it that day .They got approval two days later so by Friday they could have started the work. They didn't hurry. They waited till Monday even though they were open Friday  late and open Saturday.  They subcontract work out. You don't know who's doing your work nor the quality of it. When City got my bumper back.. it was not done correctly so it was sent back .So I lost another week.  How good could a subcontractor be if it had to be done twice ? the cheaper the sub.. the more money City makes . The owner Victor told me he would follow it and expedite it. He never got on the phone again with me. When I would ask specific questions, the most common answer I got from Julian who actually mishandled the repair was "I don't know". Then City had to Paint it Twice  because the first color didn't match . This is supposed to be a high-end Collision Center ??? Even trying to pick up my car when it was supposedly ready. I had to call 3 times and it wasn't ready the day they said. They had my car 15 Business days for two Bumper repairs basically minor  work. I'm sure they will respond and they will spin it but I have to tell you the only thing they're really good at is deception ,excuses and explanations that make no sense. The only reason I found these things out is because I asked a lot of questions . They were not forthcoming  with info. Be warned. read more

Worst customer service ever. Never take your car here even when the towing company says this is the closest repair shop. I dealt with Victor which is one of the owners. He would promise to call me back to keep me posted on the repairs of my car but never heard from him. Then lied when I complained about a rumbling noise when I would make turns and he said that problem was there before. I had to argue with him and told him I wanted my car back the same way before the accident. Then there was a problem with my alarm he said it wasn't his problem. This placed caused me as much anxiety as the whole accident. BEWARE!!! If I would have known I would have never taken my car here. read more

They continued to make promises for delivery dates on several occasions, only to miss those dates. Every time I spoke with them, they had another excuse why there was a delay. Worst experience I've ever had with any business hands down. They had my vehicle for almost 5 months and never returned my phone calls. For 3 weeks straight when I finally would get a hold of someone, they told me my car would be in paint this week. I finally decided to go in and take a look and my car was still disassembled! I then complained to the owner and it still took another 4 weeks to get my car finished only to find they had scratched my window tint, scratched my interior in two other spots, and I had to get them to buff the paint again because they missed several spots. I do not recommend you take your car here at all. The only reason I had to is because they were one of two shops in the area that could repair Tesla and they still had to send it to Tesla for 4 days to fix a harness issue they couldn't figure out! read more

Tesla only certifies certain places to work on their cars and there's really no other options with technology this new. We originally purchased a Tesla because of how innovative and sustainable the model S's are. We heard how they went above and beyond for their initial customers and thought we would be in good hands even though it was a growing company. Our car was hit and racked up 27k worth of damages and it took over 5 months for if to be repaired. It took 3 months to get all of the parts and the next 2 months was taken for this shop to have repairs, all while Tesla is still pumping out new constructions in the same 6-8 week window. Obviously new customers are more important. Anyways, we felt we were being kept in the loop by a receptionist that was so nice. It sucked to get calls twice a week with no good news or progress but at least we are getting updates and didn't feel like we're being blown off. About 3.5 months in we stopped getting updates and after 2 weeks with no communication i called in to see what was going on to find out that the girl who was communicating with us was no longer there and her position was filled. Her replacement, Eric, was finally flagged down and gave me bad vibes from the beginning. I never felt like he was being completely honest and after blaming Tesla for so long it was time for them to preform. After more time went by we wanted answers and lost patience. You can only be calm and collective for so long before the nice wears off!!! We finally demanded an ETA and we were ensured it would be done by a certain day and when the day came they were far from ready. Another week went by and we were given every stall tactic up to closing of the day we could take the car home. The car was being detailed : hair and dust inside and only the outside was washed quickly yet we were told it was being detailed which takes time, center console had evidence of being pried apart and the gray wood grain was chipped and exposing the raw wood. 1 of 2 USB ports above that area that was price open is dead, no wiper fluid, and hardened blue splatter marks on my steering wheel. The owner of this place seems legit and said they stand by their work however no damage was acknowledged afterwards other then the undeniable damage to my center consul. Buena Park Tesla has great staff who seem to care and they are taking care of the outstanding damage since it's under warranty but ultimately this should be handled by the shop who handled my car for 5 months. I'm not sure if the owner even knows what transpired after us leaving but Eric completely disregarded all additional emails regarding damages incurred while our vehicle was stored there. I love this car soooooo much BUT I will never go through this again. Driving several rentals for 5 months has made neck and back recovery almost impossible! I'm just glad all those new customers didn't have to wait any longer for their brand new car. In 5 months I could have had 3 new cars made!!!! read more

I had my car fixed by this guy's a while back never really took the time to thank them for a wonderful job they did. I was so in pressed of the quality and workmanship of this place that not long after they fixed my car My sister in law had her car fixed here as well and the constant quality is there whether it was my 00 civic or 2014 Nissan Rouge we where both happy, but never the less it did took a bit longer for for repairs due to parts not being available but at the end two happy and totally satisfy customers. read more
