Excellent pricing, excellent weld quality. I replaced my factory Audi 2.0T resonator with a Vibrant ultra quiet 2.5" straight through resonator, and got an awesome bump in exhaust note, yet 0 drone. Before my car was so quiet you couldn't hear anything, now I have a subtle deep exhaust tone that progressively gets louder, but not obnoxious at all. Absolutely zero drone on the streets or freeway. TLDR: quick service, great prices, great customer service. Come here twice to get catalytic converter shields installed. Once was after my fiance's was stolen off her car at her work place, the 2nd was a precautionary step taken on my hybrid. Both times, the team at City mufflers were extremely responsive, were able to fit us in for appointments in short order, and did a fantastic job with the installation. As most reviewers have said, this is the place to go for all your muffler install, custom work, fixes or catalytic converter needs. Spoke with Jorge and his team regarding a custom muffler I wanted for my 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport and they were able to get me in and out quickly without any issues. Didn't have the exact style in mind when I got there but Jorge told me what was needed to make it sound better (and CA compliant). Pricing is reasonable and the work they did was way better than expected. Very professional and understanding. Most importantly, they are open on Saturdays which automatically makes it better than any other shop since people like me who work way too many hours during the week can never find time to visit during normal business hours. I came here after someone tried to steal my Cadillac converter. It was still there, but hanging by a thread. A few months earlier my converter WAS stolen and I had it repaired at an auto shop in Concord. This time I did have my car towed to the same Concord shop, but they were too busy and told me it would be a few days before they could even look at it. I couldn't wait so I turned to Yelp for an alternative. I chose City Mufflers after reading the many positive reviews. They did not disappoint. I rode with the tow truck driver as my car was towed from the Concord shop to City Muffler. Within minutes of receiving my car, the wonderful mechanics at City Motors got to work. $180 just for 4 bracket welds!!! Here's the story. So i was looking for a decent shop to put my mufflers that is already came from another car and you actually just need to relocate like 4 brackets to fit on my car since it came from a different trim of car cuz i like it better than my stock one. And yes i did call them first to verify how much they charge for that kind of job and owner told me that he needs to see the car/job first before giving me prices etc etc. So i drive 20mins to get at there shop and owner said the job will cost me $80~100 for it so i said OK do it! After the welds and the job is done. He told to other guy to charge me $180 for it! WOW!!! So what happened to that $80-100!!?? I even ask the guy why he charging me extra $100 for it? And he started telling me some bullsh** that they have to do this do that!? Like the fck? Well im sure thats gonna be my first and LAST for this shop! Edit: Jorge, I wish you were as nice on the phone and in person as you're trying to be in your reply to my review. I don't know why you had such a chip on your shoulder the other day, but your actions were inexcusable. Also, my friend who originally brought the car in for the exhaust work is a mechanic and does not believe the engine is running rough. I had a bad experience here with an exhaust weld cracking and dropping my exhaust on the ground while I was driving. The new catalytic converter they had installed was badly damaged in the fall and needed to be replaced. When I called the shop to ask about repairing it (I was prepared to pay for replacement), the owner doubled the price and started making loads of excuses about why it was my fault and not his before he even looked at the car. He got belligerent with me when I brought my car in calling me a liar and cussing at me and said he wouldn't repair it. I got mad and yelled at him at that point too. He didn't repair his failed work. The full story: City Muffler replaced a failed catalytic converter for me under recommendation from a friend who lives nearby. Within a few hundred miles one weld cracked and was leaking exhaust. I planned to drive it back to City Muffler from where I live in San Francisco, but the weld broke and the exhaust hit the ground damaging the new catalytic converter. I was near an exhaust shop in SF, so they helped weld it back up. I would have been fine with that, but the cat was damaged and began cracking soon after. I called City about getting the cat replaced, and was going to pay for it, but the owner quoted me twice the price he had originally replaced it for citing COVID pricing increases. I decided to tell him about the failure and the owner immediately began making excuses why it wasn't his fault and trying to put the blame on me before I even brought the car in. I interrupted him when he was trying to blame me to which he quickly got angry and started yelling at me about interrupting him. I asked him to at least look at the exhaust on his lift, to which he agreed. I brought the car in and he pulled it onto the lift. Immediately he started making excuses about the engine running rough (it doesn't) causing the exhaust repair to fail, saying welds never crack (they do), and that the existing exhaust pipe they welded to broke instead (so why didn't they replace the supposedly bad pipe when they did the original repair?). Gorge also tried saying the muffler hanger was loose and that's why the exhaust fell when the weld broke, but his guys were the last to touch the hanger and the exhaust before it fell. They should have noticed that it was loose, or, more likely, they knocked it loose. I had bought new hangers to replace the old ones after the exhaust fell and mistakenly told him I'd replaced the center one, which I obviously hadn't, so he started calling me a liar. The center hanger was still holding the exhaust up, so it didn't need to be replaced, but he fixated on that and got more and more angry until he was cussing at me. He then told me to get out of his shop and started threatening me and charging at me with his arms flexed and yelling at me. That happened a few times and I backed away and told him to stay away from me. I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone. They don't stand by their work and the owner is angrily aggressive. read more

So I had 2 original catalac coverters from my 1992 Ford F150. I got the exhaust done.. I got a one chamber flowmaster muffler and 2 new catalac converters put on. Very good work. I wanted to keep my catalac coverters but they said it was the law that they had recycle them. Bummer because my brother said they were worth money. So in total I paid $1,900 flat.
