DO NOT GET YOUR ACRYLIC NAILS REMOVED HERE! I went to go get my acrylic nails removed here thinking it would be fast and easy but it was the worst nail experience in my life. The man who was work on my nails drilled so far that it left parts of my nails pink. When he was drilling it burn really bad, even my mom noticed and she said something and I spoke up on how it burned to him and he just continues to do the same thing to all my nails. Granted at this point I should have left or something but I thought he was going to drill and be done. I was wrong, he proceeds to get a different drill piece and make my nail thinner then they already were. On top of the I kept pulling my hands back due to how careless he was drilling, he was cutting the edges of my cuticles. Then after all that he proceeded to file them down even thinner. This is a great place to get a pedicure HOWEVER I will never make the mistake of getting a manicure here again. I was cut over and over again with a file and the shape (that I was charged extra for) did not even come close to what I wanted. The gentleman who did my nails laughed when I told him to file the sides to make it more of a coffin shape because one side was more inward than the other. For someone who wears glasses, he sure should get prescription checked. Don't waste your time here for a manicure. If you have an appointment he will also rush when he sees walk ins. I called in advance to make an appointment, however, my appointment was not respected. Had to wait an additional 30 mins. I wanted my nails shaped almond, but was told it wasn't possible because my nails were not long. I told him that I wanted that shaping so my nails could take form. The paint job on my of nails is awful, the gel manicure LED light is not working correctly and they still continue to use it. read more

If you don't wanna read this rant just don't come here and go to NB POLISH ON WATERMAN AND MILL And if you have time then grab some tea cuz here it goes; Im not one to leave bad reviews but man oh man I have to get it off my chest. Peters attitude is completely uncalled for. I've been coming here for 2+ years and I will never be going back! Although there work is descent for the price, I don't think one should be putting up with being mistreated especially a paying customer. About 5 months ago I walked in without an appointment and just wanting an estimate about how long the wait would be, Peter rudely said "YOU DONT HAVE AN APPOINTMENT, YOU WAIT! NEXT TIME MAKE APPOINTMENT!" I wasn't even rude when I asked so his attitude just threw me off, I'm usually one to argue back but I didn't because I wasnt in the mood. I just walked off, then I thought "well I work with people too, so I get it.. it gets hectic, and people rushing you makes it worse so I probably gave him anxiety or something" I just hadn't gone back. I found this amazing place called NB POLISH ON WATERMAN AND MILL! And I recommend you go there because it's literally the best! Soooo today.. I went and had my nails done at NB polish which they did amazing per usual but I didn't have enough time to get my toes done on my lunch break so I figured I'd go after work but unfortunately they were booked for the day. So I called city nails around 5 and they told appointment at 6 so I'm like cool cuz I got a beach trip tomorow and I don't wanna wear sandals with crusty toes. So I go in and sit down as always so patiently and I'm on my phone minding my own. I hear the door open but I'm not paying attention. Then I hear the lady yell "she has appointment!" And a daughter and mom are like "wait didn't you have an appointment too?" It's already 6:10. I'm like "oh yeah huh!" So I ask the lady "what time was I on schedule" then she said "we'll see you after her" so I said "ok" still confused but whatever, I have time but then peter was like "YOU WAIT!YOU HAVE APPOINTMENT BUT YOU STILL WAIT!" I didn't say anything then he starts talking to them like ranting upset with me and the lady's giggled. I felt dumb, I wanted to go offffffff! But I just left and now I know why that girl threw a beer at you peter a couple month back, I don't condone it but man now I get it. I had the worst experience here. I asked for french tip with a think pink line. First the lady painted my nails all pink, I asked again for the French tip and a think pink line. She did pink French tips. I gave up. Next I asked for the same on my hands with a gel manicure. She did white tips. They were so crooked another worker walked by looked at my nails and laughed. The gel was all over my cuticles and caked under my nails. By the time I left I was nearly in tears with the poor service and the workers laughing at my nails. Peter did my nails this time I got a gel manicure, he wasn't rude or anything they looked fine when I left the salon but later on that night my nails began to crack. All of them! I'm not sure what he did because the last time a lady there did my nails and they lasted a good two weeks these however didn't last 24 hours!! read more

Came here on a Thursday afternoon with my friend the lady could not do a set I wanted a full set when she got through putting on the acrylic which took her almost 20 minutes to put on 1 pound of acrylic the fucking acrylic bent in half and then she told me this is why I said to cut it short she was not letting me pick my own fucking nails I told her no I want it off she takes it off and soaks it off and my hands are covered in glue because she put way too much glue and now I'm pissed The owner doesn't give a shit all he was doing was talking shit about me to her never ever come here!!!!!!! read more

This establishment is amazing every time I get my nails done I am always greeted warmly and the service is amazing!!!!! The prices are affordable and the technicians are very friendly! I came for a full set and was very pleased, as the clumsy person I am I broke my nail the next day and I called in to see if they could take me in the same day. They told me to come in 15 mins and when I got there they seated me right away stand fixed my nail!!
