Dr. Kapote and the City Park Dental team are fabulous and they make sure you comfortable during all procedures. They spend more time with me than previous dentists and explain what is critical vs. things that can wait. In the last few months I have had 3 crowns put on without any pain and no issues so far. Overall I am basically happy with this Dental office. I have been coming here for many years. My pain point is what I owe is not clear at times, usually it is nothing but that is always up for a back and forth even though my plan covers preventative check-ups every six months and I have no dental issues so I am in and out quickly every time. Also, no cups or tissue by the water machine and the glasses I was handed to cover my eyes were dirty with splashes and oils from being on someone elses face. Ew. It's been about a year since I was last here, but my experience with my new dentist has been so easy that I felt a review was warranted. The staff are friendly enough, the location is convenient, my teeth were cleaned, and the facility is clean. However, they completely overcharged both me and my insurance. I have pretty comprehensive dental insurance, so when I went in for my initial cleaning and X-rays, I knew both were completely covered by my insurance with no co-pay. I was surprised when I went to the front desk to set up my next appointment that I needed to pay around $200. I remember that one of the charges included in the bill was Hygiene Education (which was them just telling me where I needed to brush more). When I asked about a payment plan, instead of telling me they don't do that (which I understand, but thought I would ask), they opened a credit care account for me. For those who don't know, that's a credit card. To re-iterate: when I asked about a payment plan, they opened a credit card account for me and didn't tell me that's what they were doing. I fully believed they were setting me up in their system for a payment plan (which, in retrospect, was naive, as they asked some person information, but I was a little too trusting at te time). I later got an EOB from my insurance, and they outlined charges that they were not going to pay, which included duplicate services under slightly different names. I really wish I had saved the EOB, but it was something along the lines of charging my insurance for a "routine cleaning" and also a "semi annual cleaning" as 2 separate services. I will note, that's despite the duplicate charge being rejected by my insurance, City Park Dental did not charge me for the rejected items on the EOB. So there's at least that. When I went back--I ended up being seen here a few times over a period of about 9 or 12 months--they would continuously push for additional laser treatments, despite me clearly stating that I didn't want any additional treatments that were not covered by my insurance. I also have been routinely going to the dentist 2 to 3 times a year since I was 6 and have never once been recommended this treatment. My new dentist also has not recommended this treatment. I've been with a new dentist for about a year now, and unsurprisingly my insurance has covered the initial visit with X-rays as well as all of my cleanings. All in all, my big gripe with City Park Dental is that they overcharge both you and your insurance. If you don't mind that, then you won't mind this place. But, it makes a huge difference for me, so I moved on to a different care provider. 2 stars for getting the job done and the staff generally being friendly. Minus 3 stars for severely over charging and opening a credit card for me instead of saying they don't do payment plans. read more

Dr Kapote was just amazing and enjoyable to work with. Hearing an extraction was required made me think of tremendous pain and visualizing movies of 19th century tooth extractions since some of the tools I saw brought out reminded me of this. Dr Kapote was very careful to make sure I was comfortable during the procedure. I felt heard by Dr Kapote since I had not eaten for three days. He was very concerned about this showing to me that he was not only concerned about my teeth. I wish I could sing his praises to a much larger community of people. worst experience ever do not come to this place it's on Colfax for a reason... so as soon as i get to the dentist it already starts off weird the front desk man was trying to convince me over and over again after I told him no more than once that I don't want to pay for anything extra. i get called to the back and Immediately the whole place just looks ghetto & dirty And the dentist they had me with was trying to convince me to spend money on things too after I repeatedly told him no. i made an appointment at 8 AM before work because I work at 10am. I didn't end up leaving until 9:30 .... It doesn't take almost 2 hours for a cleaning. (when they did my "cleaning" it took 3 mins) After x-rays, that's when it started to get really upsetting, They had me sitting down & like 30 minutes passed by so I get up and walk around the building looking for someone can't find anyone then I find someone random ask them to find my doctors and then my doctors come around the corner first of all they can barely speak english so it was a little hard to understand as well. I asked him what's taking so long and then I have to go to work and they say that they're waiting for a manager so they can get an estimate on a cleaning I don't want to pay for....... Are you freaking serious? I just came for a Regular typical routine cleaning, and when the cleaning finally started, I felt like they did not care. Late 2019 I went to my first dentist appointment since 2015 here and before this lapse, there were other previous lapses including the time I worked at Southwest Airlines. I know that even though I had insurance I didn't get regular checkups because it was such a pain in the ass to schedule any appointments. With mandatory overtime, I had to cancel the appointment or eat an attendance point. . (Incidentally the LUV airline is suing the City of Denver right now after being fined $1.3 million for violating labor laws) It disgusted supervisor Linda when I performed hygiene at the sink in the employee break room at the Albuquerque Sunport after eating on my 30 minute lunch. Just walking to the public airport bathroom would consume 7 minutes minutes. But I do enjoy having all of my teeth though, so I avoided meth and overcompensated with obsessive brushing and flossing Prior to this appointment I was worked about eating the wrong thing and finding myself in excruciating pain with a broken tooth. The work needed was substantial. They were amazing throughout the process and devised a treatment plan that prioritized the most problematic areas while perfectly coordinating the financial aspects with my dental benefits/FSA Besides deep cleanings, a maybe a regular filling or two and baby's one and only root canal to date, 4.5 industrial strength crowns I am so thankful to City Park Dental, Dr. Graves, Dr. McDavid, and the dental hygiene/technician staff who helped rehabilitate the secret haunted graveyard of janky molars with half busted silver fillings in the back of my mouth! read more

I feel so bad bc a lot of these reviews are harsh but I had a pretty great experience. I hadn't been to a dentist in like 10 years and they filled my 3 tiny cavities and really cleaned me out. So satisfying! Then, after 15 years, my two front crowns finally needed to be replaced. It was pretty pricey but normal for what that actually costs. I've had them since April and it is now January and they are fantastic. They look very real and I can eat whatever with them (my two front teeth so that's really important). I was so uncomfortable that I left the appointment - something I've never done before. I'm very glad I did. They are the best! Dr Jordan Sherman their endodontist is excellent. And Dr. Shah one of their dentists is also excellent. Dr. Sherman does root canal retreatments and not all endodontists do them. He did one on me and did a great job. Then I went right to Dr. Shah right after seeing the endodontist and they gave me a permanent porcelain crown right then and I did not have to wait any time to get it. They fitted the crown right there. Before when I have had crowns I had to wait several weeks to get the crown because they had to send away for it. This group makes the crown right away in their lab. I can get appointments soon when I need them. The office staff is friendly and professional. So I really recommend this dental group. It is on Colfax but there is plenty of free parking back of the building. The only downside is that they are expensive but I think you get what you pay for. read more

I had Cigna insurance at the time of the amount of $4,500.,00 so I am told it will cover the cleaning the X-rays both old fashioned and digital! A crown, the extraction of two teeth and partial.? Well the cleaning was done with the instrument that scrub the teeth. I don't the name if that tool is called but is not the one the use as a toothbrush that scrubs your teeth. I waited in the room after the x rays, in my room and the dentist is cleaning a different client ahead of me with that machine that is loudly. So when my turn comes they use that old tool that doesn't make noise!! Because he told me he is afraid of Covid? Then I waited a month to see the endodontist he is name is Emmanuel I there on time before my appointment 8am my tooth in my mouth is pain . So the doctor has me seating there till 10:39 am . All the times he was there 3 others two females in one dude who has scrubs that u assume will be his assistant all the time he is ask me questions about things completely unrelated to to my treatment! No questions about my pain no physical examination of my mouth no after care treatment either . Questions unrelated? With the door open for everyone to hear . Outrageous he wanted to get two more opinions from doctors I don't see anymore because according to thim I was going to get in infection??? On top of that after I was told by the dude receptionist that everything is covered that day they wanted 800. Some change for unrelated issues? The tooth wasn't removed by this dude and wanted me to stay there longer??? Ridiculous they violated HIPPA rights? This people don't deserve clients. And when you all doctors put pictures of your self when you were in twenties and mention both gym as a regular activity? And you see them both in personal most of them overweight!!! I love the staff here! I've sent my entire family to them as well. The check in process is super timely, and we have really never had to wait for appointments. Yesterday, I had a chipped tooth composite come off. City Park Dental got me in quickly and fixed the tooth quickly and perfectly. Dr. Gonzalez is super nice as well as very skilled. Today, I took my daughter in for a cleaning. As I am in a cast, I ran a few errands, and let them know to send my daughter out to the car so I didn't have to walk in. Not only did they accommodate my need, but Dr. Gonzalez came out personally to help me understand my daughter's teeth care protocol. I am so happy we found this group. DO NOT GO HERE!! DANGER I went to City Park Dental for years. I had 2 root canals done in the fall of 2020 and the specialist was suspicious right off the bat. He said the teeth didn't need to be done, then forgot which they were, then..... and the worst of them all... did them INCORRECTLY. He made some excuse at the time for why he may not be competent enough to do it but here I am 2 years later being told by a competent dentist office they both need to be redone ASAP and there was no reason they shouldn't have been done correctly in the first time. Similar to pervious reviews my crowns FELL OUT leaving a gaping hole for several days as they were too busy to fit me in....these people are SCAM ARTISTS...RUN Do yourself a favor and go to a different dentist so you won't need a more skilled office to go over their work. READ BEFORE HAVING ANY RESTORATIONS HERE Full disclosure, I haven't been to these dentists for 3 years, and it appears the general dentists have completely turned over since then. I did use this group for about 4 years, and in that time frame, rarely saw the same dentist twice. this place tends to run more like an assembly line, with the dentist doing a brief exam, and any necessary drilling, and support staff doing everything else (reviewing xray results, performing restorations). for those who have issues with cavities, READ THIS PART. my main problem with this group is that they do not do fillings. ever. their management of dental caries is strictly with inlays and onlays, specifically with the CEREC machine. my understanding is that although it allows for a same day restoration, it requires removal of a much larger portion of the tooth, even if the cavity is small. of the 5 or so restorations done with this "technology", I've had 5+ failures, including one that failed 3 times within 4 months. i couldn't say whether the technology is flawed, or if it is a technician problem (yes, my restorations were NEVER performed by a dentist). the restorations generally felt uneven and honestly, sloppy. my new dentist questions some of the choices made, such as a "3/4 crown", which left a remaining sliver of natural tooth vulnerable to fracture. even worse, insurance counts that as a crown and wouldn't pay for my new crown. so i was out about $1500. and yeah, they did upsell me an ill fitting $400 night guard which i wore twice. read more

I had a routine cleaning done and got right in and out without a single wait. It is obvious the office is equipped with the most modern technology, from completing medical history forms on iPads and electronic signatures to the cleaning technologies they use. Every member of the staff is knowledgeable and walked me through the steps they were taking and answered all questions that I had. I would recommend this office to everyone I know. My husband had an appointment today to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed (which we confirmed today because there's a blizzard happening and everything is closed). The door was locked and nobody was there! They called to change the appointment time twice yesterday and we were flexible and made an earlier time work. The fact that they couldn't call him or whoever handles their calls to let anyone know that they wouldn't be open today is unbelievably inconsiderate. For nearly every appointment he or I have had there, they have called to change the appointment time...usually the same day as the scheduled appointment. Unprofessional. Updating my review because every single filling they gave me has now fallen out. Do not go to this dentist, literally the worst.

So, I first went to this practice last year and saw Dr. Harrison. She was lovely - she spent time with me and complimented my teeth and said everything is in amazing shape (I know that, I'm 42 - never had a cavity or any issues in my life). She then said that I grind my teeth and it's causing some issues and I should get a mouthguard. I DO grind my teeth a few times a year when I am stressed out but my previous dentist of 20+ years told me that it was no big deal and not causing damage aside from throbbing in my jaw - but again I grind my teeth a few times a year, not a few times a week or month etc. The mouthguard was like $400. I return today after 7 months and was seen by a different hygienist. She was pure hell. She started to tell me how I have advanced periodontitis and will lose all my teeth if I do not sign up for their $600 out of pocket, after insurance, deep cleaning procedure. She said that I must bleed when I brush, I said: "Uh no, I've never experienced bleeding." She then said while she was doing her exam that I was bleeding. I didn't taste any blood so I asked her for a mirror to see this so called bleeding and she told me no! I was too stunned to react. I asked how it is, that 7 months ago my teeth were perfect and how it could possibly have escalated to ADVANCED PERIODONTITIS? She showed me my xrays...nothing was there. I asked her to pull up the xrays from 7 months ago, she did and they looked exactly the same. So I said to her to please point out to me where this bone loss is and where this plaque is - and she's sort of pointing around and blah blah trying to distract me and obviously she thinks everyone is a moron and not going to question her. I questioned the hell out of her. She didn't like that and told me that there wasn't time for a regular cleaning and I should schedule the TWO HOUR deep clean for another day. Uh, I don't think so lady. So she goes to see the "dentist" and returns and says she is now going to do a regular cleaning and I need to sign some disclosure about refusing the deep clean. Uh, okay.... She literally does a 7 minute cleaning, and leaves to get the "dentist." This (insert curse word) man introduces himself and asks me how my day is going, I say it's pretty crap considering I'm going to lose all my teeth. He says to me I should come for cleanings more often. It was 7 months - so sorry I wasn't more punctual to be there at exactly 6 months but that's how life goes. The office is modern and the employees are nice enough, but be ready to ask, "Is that covered by my insurance?" over and over again. The employees are constantly trying to upsell patients with fancy x-rays, "deep" cleanings, and other unnecessary procedures that require out-of-pocket payment. It is tedious and unpleasant to have to listen to sales pitches and repeatedly decline extra services. Over a year ago, my husband was upsold on some sort of gum scraping procedure, which means that all cleanings since then (and in perpetuity, it seems) will automatically be fancier and more expensive. He wasn't asked to opt-in to these special cleanings -- they are the new default. He needs to opt-out by requesting and signing a special form. Of course, they don't want you opting out, so my husband wasn't told about the special form. I only found out about it because I called to find out why a standard cleaning was $80 when it should have been fully covered by insurance. He opted out of all the extras, but apparently phrased it in a way that could be exploited by City Park Dental, because they only removed some of the extra procedures (like fluoride). Apparently these special cleanings aren't considered optional, despite not being covered by insurance. When I spoke to City Park Dental Group about how shady these practices were, the receptionist said she understood how I could think that, but it's too late to do anything about it now. I met with Dr. Erica McDavid - she was amazing. I could not be happier with my experience! I was dealing with some pretty serious teeth stuff and Erica made me feel that I was in good hands. I scheduled an emergency appointment because I had broken a tooth. Erica was so sweet and even came in early to meet me so I could make it to a meeting at work. After she took a look, she gave me various options and was transparent with pricing. She is very knowledgable about the latest techniques. I feel that it was only due to her attention that I was able to avoid a root canal. The office is modern and clean and they have very modern processes that make their procedures better and faster, so you don't have to come in multiple times. This is now my home dentist and I recommend it to all my friends! read more

First when someone tell you they are in pain and that they want to schedule an appointment, How about you dont tell them you will call them back tomorrow to schedule the appointment and THEN NOT CALL THEM BACK. Because City Park Dental Group showed a willingness to make things right, I did not want to post this review. However it's been almost a month since they offered a refund and I'm still waiting for my insurance benefits to return. Meanwhile, I'm stuck with an extremely fragile dead tooth missing a large chunk. I literally have a hole where half of the tooth is supposed to be, and because of City Park's slowness to refund me, I can't access the $1000 of dental benefits that are necessary to restore my tooth. Dr. Harrison booked me for two three-quarter crowns on my rear molars, #30 and #31 on August 14th. THESE TEETH WERE ASYMPTOMATIC. I had NO PAIN and they were completely functional, even though there was some decay underneath the fillings that were there. The appointment itself was a nightmare. When Dr. Harrison was drilling #31 I told her I felt her hit the root through the numbing medication. She disregarded me and continued with the procedure. After Dr. Harrison finished drilling out my teeth, she left the room and let the assistant 1. Design and mill the crowns, 2. Seat and cement the crowns, and 3. Polish the crowns and adjust my bite. I confronted Dr. Harrison about her cavalier and irresponsible use of her assistants the next day and she defended it. I called three other dentists in Denver who offer the same procedure, and all of them said they participate heavily in the 3 steps listed above for which Dr. Harrison was completely absent. Having experienced this same neglect last year at a different appointment, I realized that the business model at City Park Dental is for the doctors to overbook themselves for expensive procedures and then gamble with their patients health as they let assistants attempt to complete work that should only be done by an MD dentist. To continue about this nightmare appointment, they botched the milling of my crowns, I ended up being in the chair for 5 HOURS, and Dr. Harrison LEFT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY APPOINTMENT. What's better is that I learned this because after the assistant finished her work, I asked if the doc was going to look at it, and she said "I think she left." If she really needed to leave, Dr. Harrison could have come in and said, "Sorry I have to go but the other doc will check you over when you're done." Instead, I had to insist that the other dentist who I had never met X-ray and look over the work. I returned the next day very upset because the assistant had not gotten my bite right and I was in terrible pain. Dr Harrison attempted to fix my bite but could not and sent me home with a narcotic prescription and scheduled me to be seen by her endodontist 10 days later. My life was a living hell for the next week as I tried to remain functional. Several calls to Dr. Harrison's office were fielded with little empathy. I finally caved and shelled out $1000 out of pocket to see an endodontist earlier than the appointment Dr. Harrison had booked and got a root canal done and my bite fixed in one appointment. They also diagnosed the crown on #30, that didn't need a root canal, with an open margin, meaning the crown Dr. Harrison's assistant made for #30 doesn't cover part of the tooth that they drilled out. This causes sensitivity and the tooth immediately starts developing a cavity. Dr. Harrison offered a complimentary crown and whitening to make up for this nightmare, but I felt like she was treating my oral health like an over-cooked steak at a restaurant, and I decided I would no longer allow Dr. Harrison's office to work on my teeth. Consequently, the office manager agreed to refund me for this both on September 5th, but apparently did not send the money back to my insurance until the 20th, and I'm still waiting for my insurance to receive it. Just last night half of my crown that was on the tooth that received a root canal popped off when I was flossing, leaving me with a jagged and fragile half-tooth. So now I have one tooth that urgently needs a complete restoration and another one that needs to be re-done because of an open margin, waiting for my benefits (which I pay $60/month for) to be available. I've already spent over $1000 out of pocket just to get myself out of the blinding pain that Dr. Harrison put me in, and I cannot warn you enough to stay away from City Park Dental Group. read more

Let me start by saying I do have dental insurance. I called in the morning to schedule a cleaning/exam and was offered a same day appointment. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Wait time in the waiting room was minimal. The dental assistant that took my X-rays was professional and friendly. She had some difficulty getting a couple x-rays, but appropriately asked a fellow employee for assistance. Took a little extra time, but no big deal. There wasn't a hygienist in that day so the actual dentist, Dr. Gutierrez, took care of my cleaning. I did have some complaints of sensitivity on a tooth with an old filling. Dr. Gutierrez explained that despite being an old filling it was in good shape. He did some cold testing and said the results were not conclusive with the filling needing to be replaced. He suggested maybe a new night guard. I didn't feel any pressure to complete any unnecessary treatments or was it suggested I needed any restorative work. Given I do have insurance, the dental team could very easily taken advantage and filled the tooth I questioned, plus suggested other treatments, but they didn't. I left the office with clean teeth and a fairly priced estimate for a new night guard. I'm planning on continuing care with City Park. They are honest, have great customer service, and very accommodating. read more

After moving from the Loveland/Fort Collins area over a year ago it was finally time to find a local dentist. My insurance is very restrictive so I was given a list of dentists and this one rated high in the yelp meter. I called for an appointment and was in the next day which was a stroke of good luck. I noticed that everyone in the office was wearing shirts regarding clean water. It turns out the owner personally financed a well in Ethiopia which immediately made me feel really good about supporting this business. Overall, the staff was very, very friendly and I felt like they addressed my concerns (my jaw has started to pop, early TMJ) professionally. I did not feel like I was getting an up sell at all and I wasn't approached about any dental treatment that I didn't bring up. I really liked the dentist, hygienist and the extern that was doing my x-rays and mouth guard fitting. When they were working with me, I felt like I was in great hands. The area that I found to be a little off putting was the amount of time it took for my appointment. I was there for two hours and a lot of that was waiting between seeing the dentist, getting x-rays, getting my teeth cleaned, getting fitted for a mouth guard and finally trying to pay my balance (the cashier was busy so they said they'd be in touch). I asked what their process was and they took time to explain that the dentist comes in first, then the cleaning, etc. It was great information but as a new patient, a little more initial communication would have been appreciated. With that being said, I've already booked my next cleaning and will be going back in about a week to get my fancy new mouth guard. read more

The good: The office staff is friendly. The office is clean. They have what seems to be up to date quality equipment. The bad: Dr. Harrison, while I believe knows what she is doing in the aspect of dentistry, does not seem to care about her patients. Lack of integrity comes to mind. I had a crown done there, and most of the work for the CEREC crown I had done in the office wasn't done by Dr. Harrison at all, but what seemed to be her student. This was my introduction to a "same day" crown. I was recommended doing this method instead of the other process which takes several visits, and was told it was a fast and painless procedure that worked just as well as the other option. I had to come back to the office 3 times to get a "same day" crown done because they couldn't seem to get it right, and I am still having problems with it. I've now found out that the crown has been shifting position as a result of a bad root canal done by a different dentist prior to this. When I first came in to the office, Dr. Harrison looked over the root canal and said it was questionable but they would make it work instead of getting an extraction. We went ahead and put a crown on it. Later, after the several attempts of trying to make it fit, I was now told by Dr. Harrison that the root canal is not good, and that I may potentially need to have a full extraction done. I have been working with City Park Dental Group to try and get my X-Rays sent to a different dentist. It's been 2 weeks now, and I've made several attempts to get these X-Rays sent to my present dentist, including signing an electronic disclosure document. My current dentist still does not have X-Rays that were done by City Park Dental Group only a couple months ago. I've wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I have a bad feeling about this office and Dr. Harrison. It seems they don't care about Dental Ethics, just how many people they can move in and out of their office quickly. Genuine care for clients well-being beyond the money you are getting from them goes a long way in a business, and I think City Park Dental Group and Dr. Harrison will need to learn that the hard way. read more

I had a pleasant visit to City Park Dental Group. It seems like some of the negative reviews have to do with the quality of fillings and crowns. I came in for a cleaning and exam. I was self-pay, and appreciated that pricing was clear and without sales pressure. The new patient special includes x-rays, digital images of tooth surfaces, and exams for $59.* In addition, I paid for a medicated irrigation, dental cleaning and fluoride treatment for a total of $168. The medicated irrigation -- a dental "power wash" -- is optional. I'm glad that I had this done, as it had been more than a year since my last visit. It reduced uncomfortable scraping during the cleaning and removed bacteria from under my gum line. I'd recommend it to other patients if it's within budget. I was surprised that the dentist herself gave me my initial cleaning. She was nonjudgmental and gentle. She and the specialists attended well-reputed dental schools, so I felt comfortable with their training and skill level. The staff were friendly and helpful. In summary: City Park isn't a luxury dental practice, but it more than met my needs. I'm guessing any rating above 3 stars is employees or friends a family of employees. After 2 crowns and 3000.00 bucks my tooth still hurts the same as it did when I went in. Going to a stand alone dentist with no profit margin they need to hit. I will then work to recoup my losses. Stay away. read more

I should have looked at these reviews before I went. I scheduled a routine exam and cleaning as a new patient. I had not gone ot a dentist since COVID and I had moved away from my previous dentist in that time. I scheduled an appt for 5/26/2021 at 10am. Got there at 9:57am. Was greeted and checked in. Got my xrays done, then the dentist came in and checked out my teeth, went over the xrays and recommended some deep cleanings for my back top teeth. We talked a bit about implants. Kyle came in and discussed the charges and gave me my estimate for an implant. I paid $247 for the extra deep cleaning that I was told the insurance didn't cover. After paying it was about 11am and I was told the cleaning would start in about 10 minutes cause the technician was finishing up with another patient. 10 minutes comes and goes. Then around 11:20 a lady comes in with a tray and says she will be with you in about 15 - 20 minutes. So I ask can she be done by 12pm because I have to be somewhere by 12:10pm. The lady that brought in the tray went and asked and came back and said "you'll have to reschedule she can't finish by then". I was shocked, mind you I am a new patient. So the lady from the front desk comes in and it took another 20 minutes for her to find a slot to reschedule me in. I'm still thinking is this really happening right now. I have been there for 2 hours and still no cleaning and no apologies given! I rescheduled for 5/28 9am - 10am. When I got home I was boiling and not confident that my rescheduled appt would last just an hour. I would need to pick up my son by 11am that day so I called and cancelled the appt and asked for a refund and let them know I was taking my business elsewhere. Kyle was helpful and cancelled my appt and issued a refund, he apologized about the situation. The only one that apologized. I do not recommend going here unless you want to waste your time. read more

This Dental Group gave me absolutely the worst service and customer experience I have every received from a dentist or dental practice. I went in to get a filling that had originally been done there within the last couple of years replaced. It fell out while I was flossing. When I was presented a quote for nearly $400 for a replacement. I asked about their guarantee and argued that I should not have to pay at all, especially since this is not the first filling they've done that I've had an issue with. They said that the guarantee only applied if I come in every 6 months for a checkup. I mentioned that the reason I hadn't been is because we're in the midst of a pandemic and they were the ones who cancelled my last appointment. After negotiating down to half the original quote I thought we were ready to get started when Erica McDavid came into the room and said that she wouldn't feel comfortable fixing my tooth because I mentioned leaving a bad review. This was the final straw. I wasted the money I spent on the original filling, over an hour of my time taking work off to drive down and wait in a chair, and my only consolation is that now I can choose a new dentist who should be able to do a filling that doesn't come out while flossing and who won't put me through the same thing every couple years. I would encourage everyone to read the other reviews and to avoid this practice at all costs. read more

STAY AWAY! This dental group is notorious for trying to up-sell. I heard this but since they are a block from my house I went anyway for the cleaning/exam special. I told them when I came in I thought I had a cavity in my left upper quadrant. After over 2 hours and 2 separate x-ray technicians took 2 separate sets of x-rays and a dental hygienist looked me over and then the dentist herself this is what they came up with. "We can't figure out which one is a cavity or not. We would like to make an appointment with our periodontist 3 miles from here on another day for you". I said, "You have not even done the cleaning yet and I have been here for over two hours!" Sadly, I recommend this place before I went there for my neighbors's daughter's braces. They made an appointment for her and it was not until the young girl had taken off from school and was sitting in the dentist's chair did they tell her, "We don't actually have an Orthodontist here at this location yet". In conclusion: you have really nice people running a crappy business. read more

I got a crown here a couple years ago. It was the worst dental experience of my life. It took 6-7 hours to get the crown in and cost an insane amount of money. I went back about a month later because it was constantly hurting, and they said I needed a root canal. They drilled through the brand new crown instead of replacing it. Crowns are supposed to last a really long time. Now just a couple years later, I had to go back to the dentist (a different dentist- you couldn't pay me enough to go back to City Park) because the crown was falling out. Because they drilled through the crown and didn't replace it for the root canal, bacteria got inside the base of the tooth. My new dentist tried to drill out the cavity and salvage the tooth so I could get a new crown, but there wasn't enough tooth left. I had to get it pulled. So now I'm 40 years old and am missing one of my main molars, after spending thousands of dollars at City Park Dental. I recommend going just about anywhere else, unless you want to throw around $4000 down the drain, experience an unnecessary amount of pain, have the staff not seem to care at all, and then have to get your tooth pulled out anyway. read more

I was visiting Denver for the holidays, and after 18 years of being in place, my orthodontic retainer on the bottom of my front teeth decided to come off on one side. I was able to easily make an appointment online, and saw Dr. Brown. She and the hygienist re-attached the retainer, and also thoroughly cleaned the staining that had accumulated under the retainer over the past 18 years. The price was very reasonable (w/o insurance). Some reviews I read are less than stellar, but my experience was very good. read more

On my first trip to this practice I saw Dr Harrison because I had some swelling of the gums that I had never experienced. She was very accommodating and the facility is beautiful. She thought that the abcess was related to a deep infection and recommended antibiotics and prepping me for a root canal to be completed by an endodontist on another date. This was a very expensive procedure and seemed extreme since I had never had a root canal. I'm also not a fan of antibiotics. I was referred to the office's endo who was very helpful and much more conservative. She assured me I didn't need a root canal on that tooth but should see a periodontist about the gums and that I should have another large cavity taken care of. I was referred to the perio who suggested a deep cleaning (scaling) in the irritated area and to work on the cavity. Then I made an appt with Dr Goff who has more evening hours to have this work done but on the day of the appt I was seen by Dr Harrison. I asked about my original appt and did end up seeing Dr Goff but she had never been given the notes about me needing the scaling. The procedures to take care of the cavity seemed to have extremely high out-of-pocket expenses, and in short it really didn't feel like the communication between all the specialists was very good and I didn't feel like I was receiving one clear message about how to take care of my teeth and have truly comprehensive dental care. Everyone was very nice and helpful but in the end I had 4 appointments (the last one was 2 hours long) and the only work that was completed was a localized cleaning. I left with a long list of thousands of dollars in recommended dental work and not really trusting the recommendations that were made by various health professionals. read more

Pretty telling, when most of the reviews are either 1-2, or 5 stars. I too, was told I need crowns, I should have my Wisdom teeth pulled (even though there is absolutely NO issue with them), and other things I didn't need. They try the scare tactic of upselling unnecessary procedures. And when they priced these procedures, their pricing wasn't even right, according to what my insurance plan actually pays.
