The person who asked us to call them regarding our review essentially explained that they are family of the owners and blamed the poor customer service on us. No accountability was taken. They were selling Jell-O shots through a syringe and the bartender told us that they don't reuse them and we could throw them away, so we decided to keep them instead. The worker claimed we stole from them even though the bartender said they were going to throw them away. This bar sucks and if I could give it a negative star rating I would. It gives racist. Our entire group will not be returning.

We had our roller derby afterparty at City Slickers and couldn't have picked a better spot. The staff were incredibly welcoming--even with a whole team of sweaty, glitter-covered skaters rolling in. They went above and beyond by creating custom menus just for us, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel like VIPs. The vibes were on point, the food was delicious, and the drinks hit the spot after a long day on the track. Huge thanks to the City Slickers crew for treating us like champs--we'll definitely be back (hopefully a little less bruised next time).

Slickers is the best bar on sutter street! Wednesday night they have $5 bingo to win money! Drinks and food are amazing!

If Jack, Brad, Shelby, or Anthony are working the service will be fabulous & the bar manager, Ally, is amazing.

We decided to try friends. When we walked in, it was completely empty. One table inside had two people seated and one table outside had two people there. We sat on patio, it is quiet and nice to feel like you are in the woods with trees and foliage all around.. Nice and peaceful. The tables looked like the "old" Benihana type of tables with the grill pan in the middle. They looked dirty but it I think they are just dated. Not a problem for us as we tend to like "hole in the wall" type places and that is the vibe this place gives. Our waitress was nice just seemed shy. Music genre was oldies. We ordered a jalapeño burger and the grilled chicken club sandwich. The jalapeño burger was supposed to be 1/2 lb Angus beef. It did have good flavor and cooked right, but it was a very small burger. Hubby felt that it couldn't be 1/2lb. For the price it was just too small. $18. The grilled chicken avacado club sandwich had one slice of bacon on it, not a deal breaker but the chicken wasn't grilled. Not sure how it was cooked, but not on a grill. It had a lot of seasoning on it and yet the sandwich was underwhelming. The produce seemed like it was yesterday's produce. The fries were also just ok. Didn't seem like there was any salt. They did sprinkle some chopped cilantro on top which looked nice. Overall we did enjoy the patio and peacefulness of our lunch there, and we do hope to see some improvements in quality and maybe better portion sizes for the cost. We will give it a shot another time, maybe dinner time when they are a little busier.

It's got shade in the heat and it's big enough that you can get social and loud or find a corner if you want quiet. Bartenders are friendly and attentive. They get busy but they hustle to keep everyone served. The food is decent and can be hit or miss but generally is good enough for when you have the munchies, and it's reasonably priced. The only improvements I can think of are the bathrooms are kinda gross (which is typical for this kind of place but still), and the tap list tends to be dominated by IPAs. I feel like it could use some lighter options in the summer and darker options in winter (bring back Alagash White!). But all around this is a great community watering hole. Great place to throw one back with friends, strike up a conversation with a stranger, or just enjoy the deck vibes by yourself.

When one leaves Indiana for California, you take advantage of the weather when the opportunity arises. And it was a beautiful day, so the search for outdoor dining led us to Tonno's Sports Bar and Grill. We aren't big drinkers, but everyone knows that sports bars have great food, and several reviews raved about their burgers. We arrived a bit after noon on a Saturday, and there were several people inside doing a specialty 'breakfast shot' which was whiskey and bacon or some such. If that's your thing, this seems to be the place to be. We selected a table outside in a nice area with both sun and shade. There were kids in this area too, so it's obviously not 21+ like most places in Indiana. They were a big crazy (young, running, loud) but not enough to bother us or others around us. The parents were probably doing the breakfast shots LOL. I ordered the cheeseburger with added bacon plus tater tots. The tots were oversized and delish. Think of the taste of a McDonald's hash brown but in bite size form. The burger was great too, believe it was a full half pound burger. Wife ordered the BLT and loved it. Her fries were good, but nothing special. Ordering takes place at the bar, and they give you a number for your table. Service was quick and I went inside for three refills on my soft drink. They didn't give me a dirty look, so it must not bother them. We stayed for nearly 3 hours just enjoying the weather, eating our food, and reading books while we waited for afternoon activities that were scheduled for our team. A good experience, would return if in the area.
