For the all-you-can-sushi they put double the amount of rice on their sushi rolls and charge you for left over rice. The rice to sushi ratio is extreme & even though it's all-you-can-eat, each roll is 10 pieces. It is definitely not worth the price whatsoever and the quality of food is severely lacking. I really enjoy this place. It always feels extremely like home and always warm and welcoming. Unfortunately I got dinner here tonight and this is the second time I have came in and ordered to go and while ordering the two item bento box, I have not gotten my miso soup. And while this rainy weather is relaxing, it's twice as cold, and I had my heart set on some warm tasty soup. And I love the miso soup here. I'm saddened by it, but other than that. Sushi was good. I ordered online via GrubHub and my order was accurate and on time. What I didn't like were the "security measures" I had to go through just to pick up my order. When I walked in the door I told the guy I placed an order online, through GrubHub, and I told him my name. That should have been enough, right? How many GrubHub orders placed by a Cheri did they have that day? Nope, it wasn't enough. He then had me recite my entire order back to him and my order wasn't small so I stumbled to remember everything I had ordered. I left my phone in the car because I thought i was going to be in and out. Otherwise I would have just looked it up on the order confirmation. I didn't know I was going to be given a pop quiz to pick up food I had already paid for. Maybe it's because of their semi-sketchy location that they have to do this? Maybe people come in off the street lying about to-go orders a lot there? I don't know. I was just a little annoyed by this. This is our new favorite. We were sushi-less (locals will know why) and thought we would not eat sushi until our old favorite re-opened. Oh man! This place is awesome! All you can eat sushi for $16.00 per person. You order slower, but it's worth it. You can get appetizers, kitchen entrees, udon, fried chicken, handrolls, cooked rolls, raw rolls, and it's all very diverse. It's prepared & presented beautifully. Their fried chicken is this side of perfect! Unreal crunch! Shaved slices of tender thigh meat. Panko coated and fried to golden crisp and served with dipping sauce. You gotta try this sit down Chinese-Japanese fusion eatery. We love it! read more

Food was warm, I ordered a shrimp chow mien and t came out literally in 2 min and when I got it half part of it was cold and the other was warm. My Girl ordered a lion king and bit into it and her reaction was like she wanted to throw up, asked her what was wrong and she said it did not taste like a lion king at all and tasted like throw up. Been here a few times now, and I love the sushi! Customer service is warm and friendly, and the seating is ample. I got a spicy tuna roll, which was delicious (Even though I would have liked a little more Sriracha or some other spicy sauce) And I also got the unagi roll, which was to DIE for (Still, could have used a bit more of the unagi sauce). My ONLY complaint was the cucumber salad I got was practically inedible.. The cucumbers were only slightly chilled and floppy (I was honestly at least expecting a crisp cucumber?), and were SWIMMING in the vinegar dressing which leaked EVERYWHERE, including my shirt and my car causing me to have to go home and emergency change as I was on my lunch break at work. It's a chinese/japanese restaurant, I loved the quiet atmosphere with great music, I ordered the wonton soup and combination fried rice, my cousin had the broccoli beef and chowmein, we spent less than $30 and we only finished half! Bring a few friends because the portions are made for 2 people a plate. Did I mention they have a large selection of sushi and even an all-you-can-eat menu?? So I came in to CJ Fusion to see what they were all about i do under stand it was almost 9 on the dot, also I have restaurant experience I know the urgency to want to leave and it does suck to have people at the last minute but what attracted me was the neon lights and and open signs so i pulled in to the lot as soon as i turned my car off they shut off the open sign, even turned off the parking lot lights and locked the door. I personally would have preferred a sorry were closed apposed to a shut the lights off we don't want your business. My family and I have been patrons of CJ Fusion ( formerly Sushi Tandy) for many years. Their new location is great. The sushi is THE BEST. We have eaten at all the fancy sushi places like Sushi Ran and Akikos in SF. And CJ's is just as great, if not better! And the prices are more than reasonable. My wife and I had dinner here with a couple of friends. Had a great time. Owners were very accommodative and friendly. Its a family restaurant serving great selection of Chinese and Japanese cuisine. Great food and I was surprised with really decent pricing. I had a Bento box - chicken katsu and grilled calamari. It was great. My wife had Salmon Teriyaki and calamari. We were pleased. WORST SERVICE EVER! Took my family of 5 which included 3 children here for dinner. After asking questions about the all you can eat sushi we ordered 3 all you can eat sushi and another entree as one of my children doesn't eat sushi and the other is a toddler. We were told that we couldn't share the all you can eat meals that were ordered. I understand that every restaurant has they're rules but when my son wanted to try a crab puff which was an all you can eat item the lady serving us starting yelling that we couldn't share. I completely could have understood of I didn't order my son food or if I was allowing him to eat the sushi but it was simply 1 wonton! That lady made my son feel as if he did something wrong and I will not deny my child food that I was paying for. After she continued to give rude service we cancelled our ordered, paid for the sodas my children order and left. I have never received service a bad as this at any restaurant and all I could think of was how my children felt. I will never step foot in this place again and will make sure people know how horrible the service is. And to top it off an apology was given to another family member who stayed for their order. We used to frequent the last restaurant that was here, so we definitely been wanting to try out this place and support them. The place has been revamped, and is alot cleaner than how it used to look. Their menu items consist of Chinese and Japanese cuisine. There's only a few Chinese options but lots of Japanese items to pick from. We wanted to try out everything so we did the all you can eat option. Everything we ordered was ok, nothing spectacular and they have a huge sushu selection to chose from. What I didn't like was the fact that the portions they brought out were huge for an all you can eat and their sushi rolls were packed with alot of rice. I'm used to smaller portions served on a saucer rather than an actual dinner plate. The rolls come out huge too, with lots of rice and atleast 6 pieces per a roll if not more. But I guess this limits the amount of times you order lol. Overall not bad but most likely will not be returning. read more
