Limón is one of my favorites, and I've been to a couple of their other locations over the years…read more The Burlingame location is right on the main street, with plenty of seating both inside and outside. The staff are always friendly and attentive. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, with the half chicken as our main course. It comes with two sides, and this time we went with double salad, but the fries and plantains are also great options. The ceviche had wonderful flavor with fresh toppings and delicious house-made plantain chips. The green beans were cooked perfectly, still crisp and topped with garlic and ginger that added great flavor. I've tried all of the empanadas, but this time I went with the veggie truffle mushroom, and it was delicious. The dipping sauce that comes with both the empanadas and the chicken is so yummy! My absolute favorite dish is the truffle mac and cheese. It's rich, creamy, and incredibly flavorful without feeling too heavy. The truffle is perfectly balanced and makes it one of the best! Limón continues to be one of my go-to spots because the food is consistently fresh and flavorful!

The salad and french fries were crowded on the plate. The presentation was not easy on the eyes. The french fries were cold and not fresh like they have been sitting there a long time. The waiter was not the most upbeat and friendly . He wasn't very attentive, and came as the meal was at the end, asking if everything is ok? My husband and son were still eating when they took my plate and daughters when they were still eating their meal. Usually when people are all finished, then you clear the table. We were outside eating and it was fine. It was rather cold, the waiter could have asked if we wanted the heat lamp turned on. Overall, I will continue to go to the Walnut Creek location where the service, ambiance, and food is top notch .

This place makes me want to visit San Mateo just to eat here!…read more I am currently on a very difficult journey to try everything on the menu, but the problem is I keep wanting to reorder the same staples, especially their famous Cubanos. Everything I've tried has been delicious, and the sauces are seriously amazing. They make their own chimichurri sauce, a super spicy habanero sauce, and a creamy white sauce that somehow makes every bite even better. The fresh juices are also worth trying. You can tell they're actually fresh. This spot is flavorful, memorable, and absolutely worth going out of your way for.

They have a variety of options , including salads, bowls, wraps and sandwiches. They also had multiple customizable options for vegetarians or vegans that included impossible patty, broccoli or veggies . I got the Quesawrap with Maduros ( plantains ) and veggies options. It came with a side salad as well. Unfortunately , they made the wrap with some seafood or meat , the 1st time. Luckily ,I checked before eating and notified the staff. They made a new one for me and comped off some amount from the bill. The staff was very friendly. They also have a bunch of interesting sauces . Would try this place again

There are not a lot of restaurants in the SF Bay Area that have ocean views. This is one of them. I like that they don't rely on their location to get business. The food is actually pretty good. Of course, it is always necessary to get a pisco sour. Our server was very nice and let us chat over a pisco or two before ordering. I really enjoyed my visit here. I will be back.

For that price, service wasn't rude, but it could've been better. Dishes were flavorful and authentic, we got the fried fish with a seafood sauce, some ceviche, and empanada trio to share. I was surprised i had to order a separate side of plantain chips for like $10 and that it didn't come with the ceviche. My main complaint is that the service was slow and it was difficult to flag someone down especially since they forgot one of our dishes. I had to tell two different people throughout the night before they finally put the order in again, near the end of our meal. Turns out they forgot to put it in, in the first place. The atmosphere is nice overall, I do love Pacifica, but I wouldn't come back here again given the service and prices, esp since we can get similar quality food and portions at more local smaller sf establishments at half the price.
