Red bean jambalaya rice with sausage. Comforting, filling, and delicious.

Red bean jambalaya rice with sausage. Comforting, filling, and delicious. Wonderful mochi, too. Great vibe, especially compared to places closer to the airport, and even to the look of the surrounding neighborhood. Low, warm lighting. Minimal wood and black. Good music. Small feel. Classy. Service was quick.

This is a rare and interesting Southern Asian fusion spot. I found it upon searching on Google, they should advertise more! I thought the dishes were creative. We got the soup dumplings for appetizer. The soup was flavorful, but the meat can be a bit gamey with a slight strange aftertaste. Therefore, I asked for chili paste on the side which took care of that as it paired better with the soup dumplings and masked the strong meat taste. I enjoyed the Cajun surf and turf, esp the garlic pasta. However, meat came out medium instead of medium rare. The house fried rice was way too salty for me but my husband enjoyed it. I just have a low salt tolerance overall so may be a me problem. The owner is the sweetest man!! Our waitress was also so sweet and attentive. Excellent service. I hope people give this small business a try. The owner has been in the business industry for a long time and he hopes to finally build something that is more of a stable in Austin.

What a great find! Was searching somewhere in this area and CK Kitchen popped up. Got there shortly after opening on a Saturday afternoon and were the only guests for a few. The location is nicely decorated with clear bar and dining sections. Restrooms are unisex with two rooms. There is outdoor seating as well and when it's warmer would be perfect. The staff were so friendly and funny. They were aware of the Sun setting and adjusted the blinds to make sure we weren't having the sun in our eyes. Great service! The food was amazing, got the Goyza, spring rolls and blacked shrimp with noodles. Everything had amazing flavors and the garlic noodles with the main dish were the star of the night. Also got the Lychee martini and yummy!!! I'd 100% be back to try other items.

We are here after arriving at our hotel. It is a hidden gem off Riverside drive. The food is very flavorful and plentiful. I tasted the lichees cocktail it was one of the best I had. The dinner was also amazing, I ordered the seafood and macaroni and cheese dish. Usually you get a few shrimps and crawfish, but my plate was filled with both.

Super cute restaurant. Loved the shrimp skewer as well as the bulgogi. Good portions for appetizers. Very nice staff, and super fast service. Was just stopping by here at a layover, but will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Such a good eat! Me and my partner tried a little of everything. The menu is a little selective but had really good options and made it not so overwhelming when ordering. Food didn't disappoint at all. Quality and flavor was all there as well as presentation. Our server was very helpful and took great care of us. The place itself is cute and clean and gives a fine dining feel. They also have a bar with seating which is a bonus! Definitely a new staple for us.

There is a parking lot that you can get validation for 2 hrs free, but after that you will be charged. Overall though, it's totally worth a visit! The bartenders are really friendly, the bathrooms are immaculate, and the inside of the place is really cute -- think kinda pink vintage? There are some tables, and big comfy couches around a coffee table in the middle of the bar which is where we sat. I had one of their happy hour cocktails that was similar to a creamy espresso martini, and they are 50% off on happy hour days/times! My friend got one of their floral cocktails which wasn't discounted but I LOVED it personally. I also got a strawberry matcha drink (non alcoholic) that was a little too sweet in my opinion; I finished it but wouldn't get it again. Overall though the cocktails and vibe in there are worth a visit alone! When it's not too hot, the area outside has little mini-chandeliers and is also very vibey.

I usually only go to coffee shops to work, but today, went on a coffee date with my dog instead. There's ground floor parking in the garage that's complimentary for two hours. I kept it simple with a vanilla latte. I noticed they had tacos at the bottom of the food menu, but at $13.25 for two tacos + an a la carte item, I decided to pass. Maybe my expectations were too high (as usual) because it's inside a hotel, but I was hoping for the kind of warm hospitality hotels are known for, but instead, the service felt a bit cold. It didn't exactly make me want to spend more money there. While sitting on the patio, I spotted the food truck outside and thought, "PERFECT. A food truck HAS to be cheaper. Take that Simona's!" I walked up to the window... only to find out it wasn't actually a separate food truck. It was just the pickup window. To order? I had to go back inside to Simona's and place my order with the delightful staff... I ended up ordering two Blue Migas tacos, and honestly, they were just... good, but nothing memorable. They tasted like your average breakfast tacos that you can find all over Austin for less. Despite loving how relaxing the outdoor patio is with its lucious greenery surrounding you and the beautiful French chairs and cafe tables, it's located right next to the hotel pool. If you're visiting on a summer afternoon, expect some extra noise with pool guests. If you're looking for a quiet coffee or a place to work, I'd recommend coming early in the morning instead.

Normally good food and Holiday Inn go together like squid goes with chocolate, but this place was one of the more pleasant surprises I ate at in Austin. We were watching some bands nearby and needed some food at 930pm. Looking on Yelp (what else would we use?), the only highly rated food places nearby were a few food trucks and a restaurant in the Holiday Inn. We wanted to sit down badly enough that we decided to risk disappointment and GI distress. Man were we glad we did! The good: the waitress, I think her name was Brittney, was very nice and welcoming. There weren't more than 2 other tables at that time of night, so she walked us through the menu. Everything was made on site including the ice cream. The restaurant itself is clean and open. There's a full bar. The menu has pretty good options for the vegetarian with us and for us carnivores as well. The sandwich I had was really good and the brownie waffle dessert with cookies and cream ice cream and hot fudge STILL HAUNTS MY DREAMS! The prices were reasonable, and the food was remarkably good. The bad: the reataurant is in Texas, and I'm in California. The mediocre: nothing Overall: This place would be my go to late might place if I lived anywhere nearby. It's probably best that I am not nearby because I would also weigh about 200 pounds more than I currently do because I would eat that dessert every day until I could no longer walk without assistance.

The barista was super helpful and even suggested mixing two syrups, which I thought was a really cool option to try. I ended up getting a latte with burnt sugar and vanilla syrup. The first sip was great, but as I kept drinking it, it tasted a bit more milky than expected which was honestly my fault. I asked for something not too sweet, so we went with just one pump of each syrup in a bigger 16oz iced drink. Next time, I'd probably stick with the standard three pumps and go with a smaller size so the flavors come through more. Overall, a really solid spot and I'd definitely come back to try some more flavors.
