If I could give them 10 stars I would! I have been looking for a new nail salon for a very long time, and the search is over! I dropped in without an appointment late afternoon (would recommend making an appointment) but just had to wait 30 minutes. While I was waiting, I was checked in on several times. Everyone who works there is very friendly. I recently had a surgery on my leg, am in a boot and this was my first pedicure in months post surgery. The ladies were SO thoughtful, attentive, and wanted to make sure to take care of the injured leg. Their prices are very reasonable and the salon was very clean and quiet! I was truly relaxed and will absolutely be back. read more

3 of us went to have our nails done. My niece and daughter had great manicures! The ladies were super nice! I had the deluxe mani pedi. The massage on the legs, feet, and hands was AMAZING!!! I really like Anna and the way she shaped my acrylic nails. Unfortunately, they kept chipping at the tips. She said my acrylic was old (done at another shop and only two months old) and I needed a full set. I don't think so. I've had acrylic nails off and on for 40 years and the only time a new set was needed was when it gets yellow and that's after months and months. I know that certain acrylic and/or bonding liquid, or too thin at the tips, can cause chipping on my nails. I ended up needing to go elsewhere which was too bad because I liked the shop and how they looked before chipping. read more

I got almond shaped acrylics! The service was so quick and only $85 on à set with designs and gems. The woman who worked with me, Anna, was amazing. Totally reccomend! I posted a pic of my set- white and pink flowers with green stems. read more

If you are a black person do not come here. I was patiently waiting for my nails to just be removed and all I wanted was that and then a new manicure set. Not acrylic or gel or anything else just for nail removal. A couple walks in and not only are they treated nicely, but they are greeted at the door they were seated promptly for two pedicures. I was waiting and I was there first and they decided to assist the white couple over me . I will never return to this place and will highly recommend every single black person to stay away from this place . They are racist and should be ashamed of themselves. Quite embarrassing for them actually. read more

I've been here about five times but based on the last two, I wont return. There is an attitude if you question things. I've come here because it's affordable compared to other places in the area. Is there a favoritism, yes. One person was hugging a guy when he left because he's a regular. Another reviewer mentioned racism because a couple was taken before her. They do have people who make appointments that might've explained that instance. Anyhow reviewing the service here. read more

We did a walk in on Memorial Day for 3 pedicures, they were able to seat us fairly quickly. Everyone was super nice, the pedicures didn't feel rushed, and they took extra good care of making sure my toes weren't painted evenly. The prices were fairly reasonable and service was great! I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in the area! read more

Great nail salon in Kirkland! There are 6 massage chairs for pedicures, 5 stations for manicures, and a room for waxing. I've been twice for a pedicure ($25) and have had a consistently great experience. They are very thorough with cleaning up your nails, and the foot and leg massage is fantastic. On top of that, they finish the massage with hot stones and hot towels. The staff is very friendly and asked if I wanted a beverage while I was waiting on a busy Saturday afternoon. Lots of nail colors to pick from, and they did a wonderful job with application. read more

I just had the worst experience at Claire's Nail. I was getting a pedicure and they stopped my service to work on another woman that walked in, and she didn't have an appointment. Meanwhile, there was another woman next to me getting a pedicure with visible fungus on her toenail, but her service wasn't interrupted. I strongly believe this was because I'm Black. To make matters worse, when they came to finish my service, they had just stopped working on the lady with fungus on her toenail and did not change their gloves. She was going to touch my feet with the same gloves that were used on the woman with fungus. I was appalled and immediately stopped the service. This seems like a blatant health code violation! I will not be returning. read more

I went here to get nails and eyebrows waxed. The nails were done well however my eyebrows and face did not fair as well. The esthetician ripped the skin off my upper brows and ripped the skin off the lower brows. I emailed the photos and my information to the salon on 10/25 and have not heard back or been offered a refund. It took weeks to heal. Do not use this salon. I've had numerous eyebrow waxed done over the years but nothing has ever resulted in something like this. read more

I would say pampering myself is a rarity. I will be lucky if I slap on some nail polish before any occasion. It's not that I don't enjoy being spoiled it's more like I'm tooooo busy going to shows of art and music that I don't think about it. While I was on vacation my sister suggested we get Mani-Pedis with my niece. My niece and I fought for the same uber bright guava nail polish. We decided we would share. The place only had a few women working and there was a rush. But I was more than surprised to see these fancy electronic massage chairs that you sit in while your feet enjoy a Jacuzzi bath. I was obsessed with the chair. It helped relieve so much tension. I need this chair in my life. I also enjoyed all the gossip magazines. I wish I would have caught the ladies name who did all of our nails. She was super nice and funny. Ellen was on the tv and she said I should go to the show since people can win thousands. Ha! Tempting. She was also super helpful with my niece. I also picked a very light glittery gray color for the nails on my hand and she suggested doing a metal gray underneath to make it pop more. She is a wizard when it comes to nails. My nails looked fantastic with her suggestion. Feet/leg massages are part of the deal. I am extremely ticklish. I was not the best customer when it came to this part. It felt awesome but I kept moving around. Especially when she used the cheese grater contraption for the rough spots. I wanted to say calluses but didn't want to gross you out. Oops. Too late. It takes works to stay looking so good. Hence, why I normally don't do this. She did use some fun hot stones on my legs and they felt great especially when I got to put my foot arches on them. The smooth stone and the hot heat were very relaxing. I had a great experience and recommend this for a ladies afternoon to anyone. But maybe call ahead if you want to be taken care of at the same time. We had the same lady for all three of us. My sister was first and she felt she didn't get to relax in the chair/foot Jacuzzi as much as she wanted. read more

I can't believe I have not written a review on Claire's, since discovering this great nail salon about six months ago. The ladies are all extremely sweet and the manager speaks perfect English and always has the most positive uplifting attitude. The other ladies are excellent and the atmosphere in the spa is cheerful. Now onto the most important part: the nails! Each time I have gone for a gel manicure and regular pedicure, I leave thrilled with the quality of the work. My gel manicures last much longer from Claire's and they have an 80% of the other salons I have been to in the past. This place is very reasonable as well, I believe I paid 55 for a combo. They use hot stones, and lots of good scrubs. I have never felt rushed there. read more

I love Claire's. THEY HAVE THE SEAHAWKS ON DURING FOOTBALL SEASON. I mean, it's better than any sports bar! I've had a shellac mani/pedi, an eyebrow wax, and a polish change. All were wonderful. I tend to pick at my shellac manicures, so if they're not done well they peel. this one didn't budge! The ladies are very sweet and very talented. They're careful. I've been coming to Claire's for a while now, and it has always been a lovely experience- especially as far as pricing and sometimes coming by without an appointment goes. Most recently, I brought my bridesmaids in to get their nails done the day before my wedding (with an appointment). For the local community familiar with the recent Seattle weather, this was the first day of the big snow storm that hit the area. These ladies stayed open regardless of the weather and did a great job with all five girls that I brought to their pedicure chairs. Even with a large group of girls and petite staff, they gave each of us their full attention while getting everyone's nails done beautifully and efficiently. Everyone looked great! read more

Today was my first time in Claire Nails. I was greeted by Ana, she was very friendly . I had gotten my eyebrows done in which she did an amazing job . Was unsure about getting my nails done , but decided to give it try . I can say , they are super cute ! Anna did a great job and took her time . This is my favorite nail salon in Kirkland. I've tried about five different salons since moving to the area and I finally found one I will keep going to. Everyone is so friendly! I've had a pedicure and two shellac manicures and my shellac lasted much longer than normal. The price is great for the quality - I paid $55 for pedicure+shellac mani. read more

Visited for shellac manicure (I decided on French tips). The technician did a beautiful job! The only complaint I have is that during the manicure, the massage portion lasted for a whopping five seconds. Pretty disappointing being that is the best, most relaxing part. SERVICE: Can't say enough positive words for Helen and Tracy. They are not only professional but also work hard to give you exactly what you want. Their focus is on keeping you happy to keep you coming back. They remember your name and remember how you like your nails. Did I mention they are open 7 days a week? FACILITY: Very clean! This means a lot to me as it shows pride in their business and in the work they do. Comfortable, cushy chairs and massaging pedicure lounge chairs. Their massaging is delightful! SERVICES OFFERED: They can do just about anything you want done to your nails and toes. Also do waxing of all areas. Great for Bachelorette parties for adults and also birthday parties for little girls. Men come here quite a bit too! PRODUCT: They use high quality product - not the cheap stuff. I should know as it took me a couple years of learning the hard way. Their selection of colors for polishes and gels are incredible. If they don't have it yet, they can get it for you! Andrea got to know me and asked me some questions about my skin and my waxing history. I let her know it was my first time getting a full Brazilian and underarm wax and she explained to me the process and the pain levels. I felt super comfortable with Andrea. She explained the process as she was waxing me and even maintained a conversation with me to distract me. She was super kind and I felt that she took her time with me and made sure I was vacation ready. I would highly recommend booking an appointment for waxing here. They used that in conjunction with a soft wax too. Not really sure the reasoning behind it, but I really liked it. Here I am now in Washington and there are no salons like this that I have been able to find-so far. So I heard about this "sugaring" stuff from a friend. She had never had it done personally, but heard from people who had and they liked it. That was about enough I needed to take a leap and try this place out. The one I go to is in DT Kirkland, as that is the closest to me and I really don't like driving in Seattle. My first time I went was amazing. I had Melissa who has since gone to one of the Seattle locations. I LOVED her. She quickly greeted me when I first walked into the door and was able to see me right away. Our conversation was great and she didn't make me feel awkward. I loved the results I had after this first appointment. And I honestly didn't need to come back as soon as I did, but I needed a touch up before my husband came home from a long trip. The second time I wasn't as impressed with my esthetician, or the customer service, but the results are keeping me intrigued. I can always switch eestheticians for my next appointment so it's no big deal. I do wish on Saturday's though they had a little more of a flow. We waited for at least 10 minutes to see someone to check us in. We all actually went and sat on the couch it was taking so long. But again. I'm here for the product. And so far I really love it! Will definitely keep coming back!

The work felt rushed and sloppy, with several basic steps clearly skipped. The finish was uneven and lacked attention to detail, which is unacceptable given the prices they charge. What bothered me the most was the hygiene. The tools did not appear to be properly sterilized and were reused between clients, which is honestly concerning and made me very uncomfortable. Cleanliness should be a non negotiable standard in a nail salon, especially when it comes to personal care services. On top of that, they require a minimum 18 percent tip, which feels completely unjustified considering the poor quality of the service. The prices are already high, and for such mediocre results and questionable hygiene practices, it simply does not make sense. I will not be coming back. It is a real shame because I was hoping to find a high quality, professional nail salon, but this was definitely not it. I went to the Grand Opening of this salon a few weeks ago and was very impressed by Cinderella (yes, that's her actual name. And the more you get to know her, the more apt the name is. She is as lovely as can be). The place inside is small but lovely, with a beautifully decorated interior hallway wall lined with vertical bamboo posts. And the individual rooms are warm (literally and figuratively), with soothing music playing, soothing artwork, and salon treatment beds that silently raise and lower, with all the modern facial machines one can imagine. But machines are only part of the recipe. The product line is wonderful, organic, from Hungary, in scents and in textures I'd not experienced before. And Cinderella is amazing, how she initially consults with you, about your skin care needs and goals, and customizing your facial and the products to use. And the actual facial? Magic. Words cannot articulate how relaxing it was, with the facial massages, and neck and shoulder and arm massages, and scalp massage, and hot eucalyptus towels, and amazing products. My skin was glowing afterwards and is still glowing. At the salon opening, my daughter and I experienced the complimentary waxing they offered, and we were impressed by how thorough they were, making sure eyebrows were symmetrical, brushing the brows after the waxing, tweezing any errant hairs left over - very professional and thorough. We were not expecting such thorough treatment for a complimentary service! They do sugaring as well as waxing, but I have no idea what that is (and it kinda scares me, truth be known. LOL!). The products are available for sale, if one is interested. They are pricey but probably worth it. The services here, too, are pricey (more so than other places I have gotten facials at), but I must say, the skillset and product line are of higher quality. If you really want to treat yourself to some quality pampering, this is the place.
