    We needed a spot to do a little work and wait for our car to get fixed in down the street. This place isn't huge but definitely has a good amount of seating to get some work done. I also appreciate they have outlets to charge at certain tables. The coffee itself was pretty good, we both enjoyed our lattes. Their desserts looked really good but didn't give them a try. Next time!

    Umph wow super disappointed at this location. I've been to one in utc and love loved it but the location at pb was bad. I ordered a Cortado and turkey toast... the Cortado taste was just ok and for 13 dollar turkey toast.... Look at the picture... doesn't even look worth a dollar. The place is super cute though. The service was ok debating should come back or not

    I ordered a raspberry mocha. Normally it comes with white mocha, but I asked for regular mocha. It was tasty, it wasn't too sweet which I loved. I just think the coffee flavor didn't shine through, it was more of an after taste. To be fair I did get a latte. They had these cute fruit shaped pastries! The employee taking my order seemed tired, which I assumed because it was near closing time. Although she seemed tired, that did not take anything away from her customer service. She was very patient with us deciding what to order. I didn't feel rushed or judged for anything. She even walked up to us to let us know that our drinks were ready. It's got a small selection of seating, but the place itself isn't too big. They had a big couch though. There is no parking, just street parking. {05/23/26-7:15PM}

    Love this place. An amazing array of fresh pastries, either sweet or savory. A diverse menu otherwise with lots of great breakfast choices. The service was super friendly and knowledgeable. Sophie made me feel very welcome. The floor plan is bright and open, with a wonderful back patio. I also noticed that they have gelato which looked amazing. I plan to come back later for that.

    The place is super cute with lots of seating. There's indoor and outdoor and it has a lovely vibe to it. The place is very unassuming from the outside. I got the raspberry mocha iced latte and it was absolutely heaven. It was on the sweet side and I normally don't like drinks that are too sweet but this was so good. I also got the Nutella and banana crepe and it is huge. I could only eat half of it and brought the other half home. And they do not skimp on the banana or nutella. My friend has a vegetarian got the egg toast and she was very disappointed. The bread is dry. They don't even butter the bread. No sauce or anything. On the top of the egg is some arugula and then a little bit of a balsamic drizzle but she said it was very dry and bland. For about $14 she said she will never get that again. At least they butter the bread come on it's not that hard. It is street parking only on garnett. Since we're far enough away from the beach parking is not difficult. It's also free parking as there are no meters in this area. You should be able to find parking relatively easy. The service was just okay.

    One of my favorite cafes in PB! The coffee is delicious and they serve it to you in mugs in you ask, which automatically ups the taste of any coffee. Great lattes! The food is also incredible. They have gelato and a range of really fun deserts. The workers are really awesome and go out of their way to make your experience worth it. Lastly, the aesthetic of the place is stunning. There's buyable art on the walls and a whole little patio area. There's also outlets so it's a great location to work from!

    This Place is amazing! Recommend. Coffee is really good. Expreso, Mexican Mocha , vanilla late ! Fantastic . The service is super impressive good. Another impressive thing is watching the Barista.(Laura) Making 20 coffees in a row one after the other one in less than 10 mins. Multitasking all the time. I probably expend 1 hour having my coffee and watch her easy make 50+ coffees in that Hour. The vibes in the bar is really good and relaxing. Peace full. And great music. Definitely coming back. And to the owners of this place. U should give a raise to ur barista. Because she's really good at what she doing. 5

    This was recommended to me by someone I know, and I'm so glad I got to try it out!! The cafe interior makes you feel like you've transported somewhere completely different once stepping inside because it's sooo different from the vibes of the actual area it is in. The drinks were super yummy, and I felt like they def know their coffee. I've never had gf donuts before but they were unique and interesting as well! Their desserts looked super cool, and I hope to try more soon! Seating: there's a good amount of seating both indoor and outdoor. I had no problem getting a spot Saturday morning. There's also a swing seat I was obsessed with... Parking: the street parking is hit or miss but there's a plaza across the street to park if u want as well Overall was a great place to enjoy the weather and chat with a silly drink!

    Heard great things about this place and finally stopped by -- it didn't disappoint! There's plenty of indoor seating, which is perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. Street parking is a bit limited, so plan ahead if you're driving. We ordered the iced caramel and vanilla lattes -- both were smooth and refreshing. Also tried the Velvet Knot (red velvet cheesecake mousse) and chocolate mousse pastries. Not only were they beautifully presented, but they tasted just as amazing as they looked. A lovely spot for coffee and dessert!

    A truly professional place for espresso hook ups. They also got some tasty eats. I can see myself spending a nice long Christmas season morning here getting fat from all the treats. ;)

    Great pastries and chill vibes. Good coffee and tons of seating and WiFi. Excellent spot.

    In the area and was looking for coffee and a treat, a quick Yelp search turned up Elixir and I happened to be across the street. I didn't see any spots in the few street spots out front so I parked across the street by CVS and walked. I was greeted by a man and woman who were so kind and friendly and answered a few questions about their "Screaming Goat" espresso. I was so delighted to see the entire pastry case was gluten free and many items were vegan too! I ordered a Cold Brew with a splash of oat milk and a gluten free + vegan chocolate donut, to go. I quickly glanced around the place while I waited on my drink (which was ready quickly). It's open air with a handful of indoor and outdoor tables, most if not all were taken. It looks cute and quaint, and was clean from what I could see. The cost was fair, $10 for what I got. The cold brew was a bit bitter for my taste, but strong. The donut was really tasty - well done! I'd probably come back and try Elixir again if I found myself in the area.

My friends and I were just looking to get a coffee in Little Italy, but when we walked in and saw all the delicious treats we had to try something else as well. I ordered a latte and neglected to tell them it was for here so I was given a paper cup, but they give real cups if you ask. The latte was good, and my friend bought a kitchen sink type cookie with chocolate, coconut, and macadamia nuts. It was warm and gooey good! Another friend tried the gelato and said it was very good. There are a few tables inside and tables out in front outside. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful San Diego weather. The decor and tables definitely gives you an old school Italian neighborhood vibe with Italian markets right next door. If I am in the neighborhood again, I would definitely come back here to try the gelato and/or a piece of an excellent looking lemon pie bar I spotted.

    I was really excited to try this ice cream shop after seeing it all over Instagram and TikTok…read more Everyone seemed to be calling it one of the best ice cream spots in San Diego, and after finally trying it for myself, I completely understand the hype. We waited nearly an hour and a half, close to two hours, in line near closing time. It was freezing outside, and there were definitely moments when we questioned whether it was worth it. Looking back, I can honestly say it was. One thing that immediately stood out was the service. The staff continuously came through the line offering samples, explaining the different flavors, sharing how some of them were created, and helping people decide what they might enjoy before reaching the counter. It made the long wait feel much more manageable and showed how much they genuinely care about the customer experience. When it was finally our turn, I was completely overwhelmed in the best way possible. Every flavor I sampled seemed better than the last. Even the flavors I was convinced I would not like ended up surprising me and becoming some of my favorites. The creativity, quality, and balance of flavors were honestly impressive. Everything tasted unique, thoughtful, and incredibly well executed. My friends and I spent so much time trying to decide which flavors to choose because there were simply too many good options. That is not a problem I usually have at an ice cream shop. The only thing I regret is not ordering a bigger size. The moment I finished my ice cream, I wished I had gotten a larger cup or cone because it was that good. This place is truly a gem. I would love to see them expand beyond San Diego because I have no doubt they would be just as successful in Los Angeles and Orange County. While I hope the line is a little shorter next time, I would absolutely come back and wait for this ice cream again. It was one of the most memorable desserts I have had in a long time.

Yes, this review is a bit…read moredelayed, but after returning from Chicago, a city known for its pizza, I feel that I can reasonably claim that Chicago pizza doesn't compare to the masterpiece of culinary perfection served at Gelati & Peccati. Cuisine: 5/5. Full disclosure, I'm not a big pizza aficionado. In my experience, pizza usually either tastes over-processed or it lacks flavor--especially in the U.S. This was certainly my experience in Chicago. Large, dull slabs of dough, lacking in one iota of flavor, to the point where me and my European colleague kept pouring pepper on the pizza in the futile attempt to summon flavor out of the pizza. Up until my special experience at Gelati & Peccati, (sorry, I can't recall which slice I ordered), the only memorable pizza experience that forced me to reconsider my anti-pizza opinion was in Perpignan, France. And to be fair, this isn't an apples to apples comparison, as nearly every item of food in Europe tastes better than the over-processed poison served in the uniquely American hell-scape of chain restaurants and fast food joints. Note: there are many caveats to this claim, which include but aren't limited to Mexican food, Brazilian food, Thai food, Texas Brisket, Soul Food, and anything that isn't saltine cracker-bland AF. That said, the slice of heaven served at Gelati & Peccati is nothing but flames, and it stands in stark contrast to the banal slabs of dough purporting to be pizza in Chicago. Look, it's simple: I could actually taste each ingredient. Yes, the cheese tasted like actual cheese, and the veggies and sauce actually tasked like--food. This was just the paradigm shift that I needed when it comes to eating pizza in the U.S. I will definitely return the next time I pass through SD. Ambiance: 5/5. The woman working the ovens that night delivered authentic/energetic Euro vibes as she danced to EDM while preparing our pizzas. Definitely felt like we weren't in the states, which was refreshing. Much thanks! Buen provecho.
