I love it when Maggie the bartender puts on a high speed pursuit!

The best place to go in Seal Beach to watch Football games and have fun is hands down Clancy's! The open on the wknd and there's always hot bartenders working the early Fri- Sun! They will even change the game for you if no one else is watching. For sure you can catch your game on many of the big TV's they have there. I think it's 7 or 8 tv's. I love the fact that this bar feels like home. Everyone is always so nice and friendly. They also have one of the best bathrooms for a "Dive Bar" ha ha. The other Irisher bar doesn't even have a door in the men's bathroom! This a picture of Maggie one of the bartenders there's. She definitely provides you her Southern Hospitality!! At night they have a younger crowd so it's never a dull moment in there!

Amazing service. My friends and I were celebrating birthdays, and the bartender with blonde hair and glasses was the most welcoming and sweetest ever!! Bar was not crowded at all. Would def come again!

Once upon a time, Clancy's! This is a tried and true locals pub where everyone is welcome. There is always a good bit of Craic here. Great conversations, antics galore, and rapid-fire service. Not glamorous, but such a good time. How can you resist? The end.

Matty and Jake are the best bartenders in seal beach They will make sure you have a good time and are taken care of. Go longhorns baby

The Food: My party had lunch here specifically for the Thursday deal: $7 smash burgers. And we were pleasantly surprised to find out that not only was each smash burger huge (two cheese patties with bacon) but it also comes with fries. What a deal! Though it doesn't come with lettuce and tomatoes, and it was a little greasy, the smash burger was large, juicy, and satisfying. The fries were also really good; crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside. The Service: Our server was friendly, knowledge, and quick to respond when we asked for help. She also did us a solid by providing a side of lettuce (so my mom could get her veggies in) without charging us extra. The Atmosphere: Picture an Irish (American) pub and that's exactly what you get here. Fun decor, TV screens, wood furniture, and a bar area. There's also a small covered outdoor area facing Main Street. The Parking: There's a very small parking lot but there's a free street parking. Just note that they fill up quickly during peak hours. The Conclusion: If you're looking for good (but not amazing gourmet) food in a lively place near the ocean, Hennessy's Grill will serve up a good time. Plus, look for different deals during the middle of the week if you're looking to stretch your dollar.

I'm a sucker for a good benedict, so I ordered their Irish Benedict, which is made with corned beef. This thing was loaded! It was so much food that I took about half home as leftovers. The corned beef was tender and juicy and went well with the hollandaise. I like a little more hollandaise on my benedicts, but that's personal preference. I had a tea with my meal, which was ok. I hoped that an Irish establishment would be better at handling tea than American places are, but I also understand it's a bar and most people aren't coming here to order a hot tea. There was a soccer game on when I arrived and the place was packed, but it cleared out pretty quickly once the game ended. This is a lively pub, not somewhere to come if you're looking for a quiet ambiance. That's not a bad thing, but I've noticed a few people mentioning it with surprise in other reviews so I'm pointing it out to help other people make choices in line with the type of dining experience they want to have. I personally didn't find the noise of the sports or sports fans overwhelming, and felt it added to the vibe of the place. I had one small issue while I was there and the manager was quick to make it right. I really appreciated their responsiveness and eagerness to make sure their customers are well taken care of. I will definitely be back thanks to this!

In the summer when I'm in Seal for two months I go every Sunday for brunch. It is fabulous. I was looking forward to my last Sunday about a month ago, the day before I was headed back home. I arrived at my usual time about 15 minutes before brunch is scheduled and advertised to end. The bartender, who is not my usual server, informed me that I could not order brunch. When I politely inquired as to why, since the time had not expired for brunch, she condescendingly told me that since I don't work at a restaurant, I wouldn't know that the kitchen shuts down before the actual time. I noticed that the owner didn't happen to be there that Sunday as he usually is. We left.
