I don't know what was wrong with "Dr" (David) Zacheis but he really needs his license revoked. He walked around limp (and possibly overdosed on Percocet or a bottle of Benadryl) and had no idea what was going on. I have Vertigo from my Eustachian tubes being packed and he was staring in the air and recommended a hearing test. The only thing that he did was wrap his hands around my neck and ask if it hurt (while breathing kind of hard). How is that, along with barely looking in my ears, supposed to help? Previous (REAL) Drs have felt along my lymph nodes, looked in my nose/mouth and asked about symptoms. (They even noted my constant enlarged tonsils which "Dr" Z couldn't even see for whatever reason). This "Dr" couldn't even be bothered to do anything but lightly feeling my neck and stare at the wall. I even asked him if there was something that I could do at home. He gave me a creepy smile and said Benadryl or Meclizine (which I already have from my primary doc that doesn't work). He also just left an on-line "Drs" note that I get random vertigo but "She does not describe any vertigo no positional changes just sort of a general dizziness feeling."... I CLEARLY told him that things like sit-ups and quick changes where I turn (or bend down) cause vertigo to where I have to stop what I'm doing and hold on to the wall. Is this a Dr? How embarrassing! I drove 30 minutes to see a fake Dr ?!? I can't wrap my head around this. This is the WORST State for healthcare. I'm sorry but this man failed a lot of his college work (as seen from other reviews). He made a big deal about not having wax in my ears. GREAT! I knew that. I lightly scrape my ears, with toilet paper, after every shower. What about looking past earwax? Even my PCP could see scarring in my left ear....which magically disappeared for this "Dr". Like I said- he's obsessed with ear wax and not scarring from fluid inside of ears (Makes me wonder if he has cataracts and can't see). I feel bad for this place bc it's overly packed. But this "Dr" could've at least tried. He never has according to the plethora of reviews with him on here. (All of them are bad and even caused someone nose bleeds bc he was clueless on medications). Hopefully the Az medical board sees these reviews as well. This isn't right.

While reading through friends' reviews I found a review about an ENT. It made me want to review my…read moreENT. Well, Dr Tilsner is a past-middle-aged man who reminds me of the scary veterinarian from Beethoven. Although nice, he looks scary. He answers all my ridiculous hypothetical questions and makes me feel like he could sit and talk with me all day. Every little room in his office has an ear vacuum. If you have never had an ear vacuum experience, go infect your ear so that you can experience this amazing little sucky machine. And sucky is an adverb, not an adjective. It does not suck in the sense that suck means it is bad. It sucks like a vacuum sucks, because this is a vacuum. An ear vacuum. The tip is slightly smaller than a Q-tip and it just sucks out the puss or wax or whatever else people have on and in their ears. It also has a see through tube leading to the canister so you can watch your puss flow from your ear to the floor. Dr Tilsner's practice is made up of a set of small rooms in the San Rafael area of the Carondolet medical park. They gave me very clear directions over the phone but I did not believe that it could be that easy to find this place. So instead of doing what the lady said over the phone, I drove in a giant circle around the park until I finally gave up on trying to make my journey more difficult and decided to park where the lady told me to park and go where the lady told me to go.

Just a bit out of date. Tubes should be put in at the office…read morenot sent to some hospital. Crazy old fashioned. Receptionist was really great and helpful...

Dr. Megan Wright did everything she could to ensure that I got hearing aids that worked well for me and my hearing issues. I couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. My last pair of hearing aids came from Costco . I did not find the hearing specialists to be interested or helpful. If you have hearing issues that require a more nuanced approach, then Arizona Hearing Specialists is the place to go.

I made an appointment with Evan Davies, a certified audiologist with a doctorate degree. Evan was personable, knowledgeable, and he explained things very clearly while encouraging questions. My 90-minute assessment (which included extensive testing) left me with a feeling of hope. The follow-up appointment went just as well with Evan explaining in detail the workings of the inner ear and what causes tinnitus. VERY interesting. Evan came up with a couple options for me to pursue. He explained what the options entailed and even told us how much each selection would cost. I haven't yet decided which plan to go with, but I know Arizona Hearing Specialists will be with me every step of the way. I highly recommend Arizona Hearing Specialists for any hearing problems or tinnitus.
