This place is so good! I finished a tennis match pretty late so a lot of the places around were already closed. My friend from Taiwan suggested we go here since it is one of the only places that truly remind him of the food from back home. We decided to give it a go and honestly, it was one of the best meals I've had in a while! I got the fried rice and the popcorn chicken and let me just say, out of all of the places that I've ordered popcorn chicken from, Class 302 has given the biggest portion yet! I was definitely expecting it to either be really good with a small amount, or have a large amount and be decent. To my surprise, it was both. :) My husband got the cumin chicken and the pineapple rice and my friend got the fried rice with the calamari. All three of our meals came out hot, fresh, and really flavorful. The service was also really nice as well, with the employee at the register explaining how the menu worked and even offering some of their favorite suggestions. Since it was pretty late, I didn't try any of the Boba drinks but I really liked the self serve set up inside. I really like the self-serve boba concept and the cantaloupe freeze is such a good treat. There are a lot of different options for freezes and teas and also toppings. I thought the cantaloupe freeze paired well with the almond tofu and fresh mango. My sisters liked the boba they chose for their freezes. As a covid safety measure an employee scoops the toppings for you. There is also hand sanitizer at the door and next to the cash register. Outside there's an outdoor patio space with plenty of tables to socially distance outside. Wontons have some herb or spice inside them I can't describe that makes them new and interesting compared to standard ones. Soup is fine, noodles nice and chewy. I used to frequent this location when it first opened a few years ago. The concept of self-serve boba was mind blowing to me at the time. I love how you can pick and choose your preferred toppings and mix and match different flavors of milk tea to make your own boba concoction. I recently took hubby here and he fell in love. We probably come here once a week now. He loves sampling the different milk teas before building his own. His go-to is almond milk tea, jasmine milk tea, or taro milk tea. My personal favorite is the wintermelon milk tea or Jasmine milk tea. He loves adding pudding and boba into his tea but I just love plain boba. The boba here is very good. Consistency is chewy and they try to make fresh boba everytime we visit. We love it. The milk teas aren't overly sweet and they all taste great. Overall experience here is always great. Ok honestly. I love the jasmine green tea with almond jelly here. I will always come here. However, I really need to say that the workers here are atrocious. I came in here to order a Large drink because I know what I want and the cashier couldn't hear me. So I repeated my order even though it wasn't even loud in the restaurant. Not sure if this place is going down hill or if I just never noticed. I came for lunch with my husband today and sat inside for the first time ever. In the past, I have always done takeout. We ordered two meals and waited about 40 minutes. During this time people kept coming in and getting seated but no one was getting their food. It's been a few years since I've visited and much has changed. For starters, the iconic wide cups are gone and customers aren't allowed to scoop their own toppings. The new toppings rule is due to prior Covid-19 regulations, which I get but it defeats the purpose of the self-serve boba business franchise. They offer sample cups too if you ask despite showcasing a sign that says that they do not give them out. This location seems too understaffed because there was only one worker in the front managing the food delivery service, toppings, food order call outs, and cashier...poor guy, he was kind and had a smile though! But everyone in the long line can tell how stressful it can be for him. Kudos to the chefs for getting orders out quickly too. There are lots of other items to choose from. It was all so crowded, quick and dizzying.
