    My Vehicle was taken there on 12/7/2022 for approximately 16k worth of damage. The body shop received fill payment from Geico on 1/14/2023 As 2/14 2023 I still don't have my vehicle. Being a customer for over 18 years the last two years this body shop. I would never you or recommend this auto body shop again. The general manager is not a person who is reliable Promise , follow up and calls back to no avail.

    Took my 1971 Mercedes Benz 280 SL to class auto in Long beach to be repaired. It took a while but it was worth it,they did a beautiful job and kept all the original parts came out perfect.

When I got car back Car looked like new. Repaired car correctly. Car looked like it was polished and they fixed a dent in front bumper and painted it too.     This shop caused multiple areas of damage to my car and I would not return…read more The damage was never disclosed to me, not when the work was completed, not when I picked up my car, and not when I paid for the repaint job. I only discovered it once I got home. When I confronted the shop owner, Pat, he admitted to the damages but communication from that point on became challenging and more difficult than it needed to be. There were long gaps without his response and at times the tone felt dismissive or unnecessarily tense, which made the situation even more stressful. I've made many attempts to work with Pat to find a fair and reasonable solution. To this day, I'm actually still waiting for a reply to my last message asking again to discuss a reasonable solution. After repeated non-responses and apathetic communication, it became clear that no compromise would be reached. The only option he is willing to offer is the one solution I clearly stated I'm not comfortable with: bringing my car back this same shop that damaged it in the first place. Given the damages my car received from 5 Stars Automotive, my hesitation is understandable. I even tried to negotiate a different solution by providing multiple repair estimates from other reputable auto shops and he responded by calling this practice "dishonest" (very ironic, I know). I'm leaving this review because I believe it's important to be transparent about my experience. I put my trust in this shop to restore my car's appearance, but instead I'm forced to deal with additional damages they caused.

    I've seen places like these all over Los Angeles, so I knew when I needed them, I would get a great…read moreservice. Half of that is true. Two weeks prior to bringing my car and I went for an estimate. I really liked what I heard when it came to repairing to my doors: We can get it done in two days. Although my repairs were very minor, they did indeed to get it done in two days. That is very difficult to promise due to the fact that so much had to be done with my doors, putting them on and off and getting new clips for them. They did it. Very impressive. The problem came when my hopes to get it at the end of day on the second day were not met. It seems the issue was short staffing and my car fifth in line for a hand wash. I got the call about an hour before they closed, but I'm afraid it looked like I was going to lose money and not have my car for the night. Not good for my business. What made it worse is that I couldn't get it the next morning until a couple hours into the day, when I needed my car to drive a client to the airport. I was not very happy about that. I lost money to pay for this impressive job that I have to work harder for. It's hard to be pissed off about it because I'm thrilled for how amazing the job was done. That's what I got to say for this job though.

The quality of the work was excellent, and my Audi was returned looking perfect. They truly made a stressful situation much easier. Highly recommend them for anyone needing collision repairs.
