I've been a loyal Arthur's customer for several years, which makes this disappointing to write…read more What should have been a straightforward heat/AC repair turned into four separate appointments due to poor communication and planning. Within these appointments, I experienced overbooking which resulted in them not even getting to my car, repeated delays due to parts, being left without my car for an entire weekend with no pickup option (even though my car was drivable w/o the heat/ac) and ultimately discovering that my camera and radio were no longer working after the repair, an issue they caused. When I returned to have that fixed, I also noticed I was charged for a part I never authorized, which they later acknowledged was an internal mistake and refunded. While I understand parts delays can happen, the lack of communication and consideration for the inconvenience caused was unacceptable. Although a small discount was applied when I asked for compensation, in my opinion, the amount did not align with the price I paid, the ongoing issues and unprofessionalism I experienced. I won't be returning to Arthur's and I can't recommend their services.

Given the reputation many mechanics have, we were willing to go the extra distance--and we're glad we did. They handled our oil change quickly and honestly, without trying to upsell us on unnecessary services, which has been a common experience elsewhere. Their tagline is "The Last Honest Mechanic," and after our visit, I truly believe it.

I have been taking my cars to Ho's automotive for over ten years. He is consistently well priced,…read moredoes great work, and doesn't try and overcharge for work. One example: my van was having some finicky door issues and the dealership said I should pay $1500 to fix something electronic on it. I took it to him and he was very confident that a light was getting switched on and I should not try and do any expensive repairs and watch that my kids weren't turning on their overhead lights. This ended up being the case (so user error but he didn't try and do an unnecessary "repair". He also then replaced my brake pads for half the price the dealership quoted. Reasonable, professional, timely and just all around great!

Sometime you need to try them out several times before you find one that 'fits like a glove', and I…read morethought this shop did. Until I went for my 2nd oil change (only reason why I went). I went back the same week to complain why a certain light was giving me a warning signal, he suggested I get my 60,000 maintenance on my car since it is getting close, and it wasn't even TIME. The light didn't went off, so I know something he did caused the light to come on. That same week, I also got a recall on my car, (symptoms are the same as why I went back to complain to him after he did an oil change) and if I took it back to the dealer they will fix it for free. Honesty, is the best policy! Either that, or they're just pretending they know about why the light on my car was giving me a 'warning' signal. But trying to trust them, and paying for maintenance my car didn't need - yet - is not being truthful to the customer. How can I trust them and go back after that?
