I was super indecisive as of what nail design I wanted. literally changed the design idea three times with her. She was incredibly accommodating and willing to switch what she was doing. Just so I would like my nails. She didn't amazing job not super talkative, but would engage with me if I spoke to her. My nails are gorgeous, I also thought pricing was good. The only negative is that the back of my nails look ugly but no one is looking at those and I don't care that much. Definitely recommend this place.

Classic nails is conveniently located at the Westfield mall in Trumbull. I stumbled upon it one day when my regular nail place was closed. The staff is nice and they do a great job. I have only gone in for the UV gel nails, but I can tell you they leave my nails looking so nice and natural. They file the gel so thin and perfect each time. I have gone to three different nail techs and each one was excellent. It's not a fancy place, but the prices are fair and the work is great. After coming here for about a year now, I can honestly say that the two male nail techs are the absolute best at doing the UV gel nails. I have had many people work in my nails, but I have found that they take excellent care and the end result is beautiful and lasts 2-3 weeks with no chipping.

I'm a Sacred Heart student. I love getting my nails done, specifically powder. The place I go to back home is incredible, so I didn't expect this place to compare. But I didn't expect it to be THIS bad. *Please see the photo to see what I was left with after staying AN HOUR at this place* Please read it's a fun story!!! I got to the place and said that I wanted my powder nails taken off, and just regular nail polish to replace it. The woman seemed new. She asked someone else what to do about the powder, maybe her superior, and they said "take it off like it's gel." Like I said, I get my nails done all the time. This woman was not doing it right. I don't blame her, I blame the company overall for failing to train her properly. She tried filing the powder down completely which actually burned terribly. I have a high pain tolerance and literally pulled my hand away from her. I asked her to soak them in acetone instead. She couldn't figure out how to wrap the foil on my nail! I wanted to tell her how but didn't want to be rude. She then took the bottle of nail polish remover and was pouring it directly onto my nails and just squeezing the foil onto it. The foil kept falling off, the powder wasn't coming off, it was A DISASTER. After an hour of her trying, I'd given up. My friends' nails were already completely done. I told her I had to leave. The guy at the counter kept trying to charge me $20 just for a powder nail removal. I paid them $10 & gave her a tip. Just trust me, if you care about your nails, do NOT GO HERE. Again, the establishment should have noticed the employee struggling and offered assistance. She was very kind and I felt bad leaving.

this was literally the worst nail salon i've ever been to in my entire life. Not only did they put powder gel aka DIP powder on as acrylics (applied with brush and purple solution) I walked out with the ugliest nails in history. It was sloppy, not to mention EXPENSIVE (I'm pretty sure this was around $50). never again. I also waited about 1 hour just to get seated, and they didn't even use foil to soak my nails. They made me wait 1+ hours to get seated and then another 45 minutes to soak my nails in acetone. My hands were so dry from being in there so long. DO NOT COME HERE

Be careful who you get to do your nails. The older ladies in the salon lack the modern techniques that make nails look smooth and polished. The first picture is from nails done by an older lady and the next picture is by a younger nail technician. We have come here many times and this time my mother (who hates her nails now and has a cut that is still bleeding as I type) want to warm others.

literally the worst manicure i've ever received. i went in with 5 nails that had remaining SNS and i asked for a soak off. the lady doing my nails proceeded to scrape and ruin my nails. I asked 5 times for a soak off but she kept scraping at my mails with an old tip. Literally so disgusting. So she painted my nails and i dried them. When i went to pay they told me the total was 20 dollars bc i got a "soak off". So i paid extra to have my nails destroyed, got it. THE WORST nail salon ever. Don't go unless u want ur nails destroyed.

Thanks Trina...love my nails!!! Mary H.

I use Trina when I get my gel fills and manicure. Not only is she a professional....she has an artistic flare and does exceptional designs. She is fast which is great for me...she knows what she is doing and confident in her abilities. Honestly, if so many people had bad experiences...why did they stay to the end? Why not complain to mgr then leave? To the person who said staff kept looking at there phones...I make my appts by text message and that person responds by text. Not strange or unprofessional in this day and age of modern technology. They all do it and the exception is calling to make an appt. My experiences here are usually great...have never seen the salon look anything but clean, neat and tidy. I honestly believe people are confusing this nail salon with the other one downstairs in the mall. That one is gross from the get go plus cheap looking inside and out. That place I would never set foot (or hand) in again.

The staff was friendly, welcoming, and even offered me water when I sat down (I declined, but still appreciated it). Everyone was kind and made the environment feel comfortable. They suggested powder/dip nails, which I was open to, but I'll be honest the process kind of threw me off. They dipped my whole finger into the powder and reused it, which made me a little uneasy. I didn't see anything that reassured me it was being sanitized, so that part didn't sit right with me. My nail tech, Talia, did take her time, and I appreciated that she wasn't rushing. I also liked that they used a tool to make sure all the nails were even and consistent, that attention to detail definitely showed. That said, I wasn't a fan of some of their pricing and options. Charging an extra $5 just for coffin or stiletto shape feels a bit much, especially since most places include that. They also don't seem to offer or advertise more modern/trendy styles like duck nails. As for the final result... my nails honestly look like press-ons. It's just not my style, so I know now that dip powder isn't for me. Overall, the vibe and service were good, but between the sanitation concerns, pricing, and the end result not being what I like, I probably wouldn't come back for nails. I might give their pedicures a try in the future though.

The price is high but I always pay them what they ask for. Six days ago I got a fill in and when I got home, I noticed bubbles in the in a polish on my hands fast-forward to two days ago. It started peeling and not just one finger like six fingers or peeling so I went there and spoke to the person at the front desk and she said OK we'll take care of you. When I was finished, they charged me to fix my nails after saying that they will fix it. It wasn't done properly in the first place. They were also talking negative about me. Saying that I haven't been there in a long time and my nails are already grown out and I said no this is how they were done. I just did not notice it until a couple days later and now I'm here because now I have time to be here because I work They were saying i am a New Yorker and saying that's how those people are but they didn't know that I had the translator on in my AirPods and it saddened me to hear them talk negatively about me when I'm not only a new client, I'm also a consistent kind and friendly customer who doesn't disrespect them. I always tip them. I always pay them what they ask, so for my nails to be so badly done and badly damaged after a few days. I expected them to fix it and they did not care all they cared about was the money and saying"I worked so I deserve to be paid for my work" but I already paid for this five days ago then I was told that I'm supposed to come back the next day. Not 10 days later and I said I was not here 10 days ago. I was here five days ago whether you believe it or not, and I showed them a photo in my phone of the day that I did my nails to prove that I was there less than a week ago I cannot come back the next day I have to work. I came back when I had time. So they just lost a loyal customer so when I was leaving and I said that that's when I got an I'm sorry, but the damage is already done. I will never go back there. And if I knew that they were going to charge me to fix it, I would not of got my daughter's nails and feet done and got my feet done there I would've went somewhere else. I went there and I explained what was going on and had them look at my nails and they said We're gonna take care of you and fix it but they charged me then they're gonna say if you would've done the exact same color then it would've been free, which is crazy because why would I use a polish that is bad the polish is bubbling and peeling off like old cheap paint it should not be doing that so why would you tell me I have to use that same polish for it to be free because it's not free. I already paid five days ago. One thing they were right about is in New York City. This would've never happened and they would've never charged to correct a mistake on an issue at a customer is having because consistent clientele is worth more than quick money.

I let it pass because I knew she was putting the hollow on and figured it'll cover it up. But instead the yellow had lines and was lumpy as well! She acted like she didn't see it. Like I'm stupid and was going to accept that. She then proceeded to sand the color down with the nail filer, this process took about 25 mins then she added the yellow again as if something was going to change. It looked worse!! So I told her take it off and I will get it painted else where. She sanded my nails down again and as I'm sitting here waiting to get my nails done I see she sanded away a lot of the acrylic. I have a huge chunk of acrylic under my thumb nail smh Then proceeded to change me 40 dollars for this bs. This is the worse nail place I EVER been to. So then, after going back and fourth for 15 mins she finally agrees to do what I want but for like $10 more. So, I said no and went to target and got nail polish to do a design myself because I realized that no matter what I said, she was going to take advantage of me being a young girl and was going to try to get as much money out of me as she could. I will never be back here.
