I'm giving Classic Nails the lowest review possible because of what they just did to me. First of our, we are a public figure and they don't even know who we are. So that's why it's very important to treat everyone equal and with the utmost respect. I called and scheduled an appt. in advance and they had the nerve to put 3 white ppl before me..and you know what the owner said to me? Can you wait because I want to put this family together. . Are you serious? They were walkins, and came in 15 mins after me. I just remained humble and said ok. They finally sat me in a chair to get a pedicure and I still had to wait 30-40 minutes and the water turned cold. I hurried up and got out of there. Be careful how you treat ppl. I had a great experience here when I visited on a Thursday night after work with two of my girlfriends. I was expecting it to be packed with the after work rush but even so we were greeted and immediately seated to be serviced. They have an express manicure/pedicure combo which is really reasonably priced - $10 for the manicure/$20 for the pedicure. I was amazed that even though it was busy, all three of us were able to get our hands and feet done at the same time. There were tons of color choices to choose from and lots of Essie (my favorite brand). The nail techs were both very pleasant and kind. It is a business so of course they're going to try to sell you on the gel manicures but they weren't pushy and overly aggressive. Three things that were awesome: First - they have a menu of services that they give you when you first sit down so you know exactly what you're getting and what the cost is. Second - if you go on their website you can get 20% off your services if you are a first time guest. Way to save! Third - they have you pick your own unopened tools/foot scrubber from packets at the front which means you aren't having to share with people who have visited before you. Yay sanitary practices! A few negative things: First - they didn't have any TVs to watch or magazines to read while you were in the chair. Wasn't a huge setback for me since I was talking with friends but I could see how it would be difficult if you went alone. Second - there is only one small nail drying table in the corner so if multiple people finish at the same time you may not get a seat. I live in Philly and thought that my gel manicure salon was good, but this place put it to SHAME! Here is what my experience was like: I came in and picked my colors. I was seated right away in one of the 12 stations that they have. I proceeded to get my manicure and pedicure at the SAME time by two different women, and they both did a really great job. I even got a nice neck massage, which I wasn't expecting. After the gel mani was finished the woman actually went around the nail and filed off any excess gel. That was the main difference from my salon back home (aside from the spa-like atmosphere), and the one thing that I really appreciated. I normally go home and have to do some maintenance on the manicure, but I really didn't have to do that after going to this salon. The only thing that I didn't like was that they gave me a paraffin treatment (I didn't ask for it) and they didn't give me the chance to take my wedding band off. When they took it off my ring was covered in wax and I had to go home and scrub it to get it out of the nooks. Overall the experience was really great. The price was a little bit steep, but since I'm not familiar with the price points in Atlanta, I can't really fault them for that. read more

However, when I asked about it they told me the program no longer exists. I recommend they update their signage. I do recommend they get a no cell phone policy. I like this salon a lot. They are located on Ashford Dunwoody so it's still on the main road, in the same shopping center as Harbor Freight and the Brazilian wax place. Most of the girls are really nice and very helpful in picking out the color I might like. I got Mimi and I'm definitely coming back for her. Great personality, we chatted the whole time, and she speaks English very well also. She's very concise and meticulous, my xmas nails were perfect for the holidays. My friend got another girl that had short hair and was not very friendly towards any of us. She was in a bad mood and my friend was not happy with her at all. I would request someone else for her if she was picked to work on my friends/guests next time. GEL MANICURE Another girl helped me pick out the holiday color and I'm so happy with them. The gel is awesome because they don't chip for weeks and I don't have to worry about them when I'm doing lots of dishes/handiwork, painting, cleaning, etc. They cleaned my nails perfectly to my liking, and they have great colors. I had been going to this place for a few years and have always had excellent service. This last time was very different. The woman who did my nails must've been the manager or something because she was answering the phones and got up 10 times from doing my nails to tend to other customers! (I counted) Not once did she change her latex gloves or engage in conversation with me or even look me in the eyes! Another customer was getting her toes done and dropped her cell phone in the water, the lady who was doing my hands jumped up (with her gloves on) and grabbed the lady's wet phone and was helping her dry it off. Then she came back to my hands with the same gloves on! If this place was practicing OSHA guidelines, I shouldn't have to remind them to wash their hands or change their gloves! Finally I showed her a picture of what design I wanted and she told me that it was $16 to design four fingers and $8 to design two fingers. I only got two fingers done and they still charged me $16!! The nails I asked for was nothing like the photo and it was sloppy and bumpy! Unfortunately the service, uncleanliness and unprofessionalism has pushed me far away from this place! read more

Updated 7-14-16 I got a gel manicure last Saturday and the polish started to change colors and chip after only a few days. I called the salon and was told to come in. The ladies at the salon were great. They removed the damaged polish and redid my manicure at no charge. Wonderful customer service! Fantastic manicure and pedicure! Zero stars if I could. I'm not one to let one bad experience ruin a place for me.. I have been coming here for several months now and the past couple times have not been great. Well today is the last time I'll ever come. I'm sitting in the parking lot writing this. I was getting a pedicure and manicure at the same time(this is the only way they do it- nice when you are in a hurry but kind of annoying when you're trying to relax). I asked the pedicurist to cut out my ingrown toe nails- something they normally do without asking but the past few times the girl was lazy and wouldn't do it. I've had ingrown toe nails my entire life and get them taken out by a pedicure every other month. I know it is something that can be uncomfortable/even painful at times. I'm used to it. But when I am saying I have never felt pain like this before I am not exaggerating. She was digging in to my toes and I kept asking her to stop. At one point I said "oh my gosh I've never felt pain like this before" and she said it was because I hadn't been in for awhile(it had maybe been 2 months). That was the last time she ever ACKNOWLEDGED me. I was borderline screaming and she wouldn't even look up. The lady doing my nails kept having to tell her I was in pain and she would just say something back to her in a different language. It gets worse.... the lady doing my nails finished first and asked for me to pay(normally I just pay when everything is done) but whatever I gave her my card. She brought it back to me and stood there until I filled out the tip portion. Which I only tipped 5 dollars and planned to let the owner know it was only for the manicurist and not the pedicurist. The one who took my card told the one doing my toes how much a tipped and she immediately stopped doing the massage and painted my toes. Which honestly I was fine with because all I wanted to do was leave but HOW UNPROFESSIONAL. I understand that they are doing a service and should be tipped for it, I don't think I've never not tipped anyone before but she completely ignored me as I was begging her to stop hurting me. This is my regular nail place. Been here 100 times... today I go to get a pedicure at 38 weeks pregnant and I've never been closer to tears. The lady who did my feet was rude and agitated with my physical limitations (I was having trouble lifting each leg individually multiple times, trouble keeping my feet flat on the thing because my hips angle out now and I've got a 8 lb+ kid on my pelvis...). I finally spoke up and said I'm doing the best I can, but honestly what should've been a positive, relaxing experience before the birth of my daughter was very emotional and not at all enjoyable. My second time at this salon, and needless to say I won't be going back. I needed to get my nails done and my go-to technician at my go-to salon wasn't available and they were slammed, so I decided to drive down the street to this salon. The salon itself is somewhat disheveled when you walk in, they have printed paper signs taped all over the place, and not the very best or orgainzed selection of colors. Their price for a gel manicure is $35 dollars, so if I'm paying that much + tip you would think that the technician would do what you asked. I asked her to cut/file my nails a little shorter than she had originally done, and she refused, stating that the polish would last longer on longer nails. I've never had a problem before getting my nails done at the length I am asking for. The other major complaint I had about my technician was that she attacked my cuticles as if she were pruning a stubborn shrub with shears. I understand that it's grooming and sometimes it takes a little force, but I've never had to back my hand away from a technician because it felt like she was about to draw blood. Last but not least, I am extremely disappointed with the paint job itself. On multiple occasions she was picking at the paint with the cuticle cutter leaving polish uneven after the top coat had set. There's also bubbles and spots on more than one of my nails with uneven edges all around. If you're looking to get your nails done, this is not the place. read more

But, the last 2 times I have had my nails done, SNS they have cracked and peeled within the first week. I have been doing SNS for a couple years now and have never had this happen. I needed a pedicure and decided to check out this place on my lunch break. I got there a few minutes after noon and there were already many people there but of all the chairs were not taken. I was overdue for a manicure and a pedicure. Okay, I probably always am overdue as I get one, the other, or both about twice a year. I Yelped and found this place not too far from me and based on the reviews I decided to give it a try. I called to make an appointment but was informed walk-ins were welcome. Quoted $30 for both the feet and the hands was a good price so I went for it. They were good. It is definitely classic with the standard row of substandard massage chairs, and the ladies purposely speaking their native tongue so you don't hear what they say about your feet. They also have the happy ending leg and hand massage which can be ohh soo sensual. They suckered me out of $5 though. I was quoted $30 over the phone and at the desk when I walked in, but after the services, the fee was $35 plus tip. I still win, as the $5 was apart of the tip. Hahahaha, don't try to fool your consumers. My feet weren't that bad (puzzled look debating that for a sec). No, not that bad, lol. My first day in Atlanta, my fiancè brings me to this salon for nails and a pedicure. As I was getting a pedicure, my nails were being put on at the same time. Which is efficient. I was 80 % happy with my nails although they looked wider than what I described, no big deal. But I accidently smudged my nails, and when told what happened, there seemed to be a bit of an attitude coming from the same worker.
