I got my nails done for the first time today at Classic Nails and it was a great experience. It was a very clean establishment the ambiance was very nice the decor was nice the chair I sat in was heaven and the woman who did my nails was excellent. I will be going back here from now on. It didn't smell like most nail salons do and they do walk in I got seen pretty quick and got out pretty quick. I have been going to Classic Nails since it opened. I live in Elk Grove, but it is worth the drive. I get eyelash ex. Pedicures and gel on nails. As a active working license cosmotoligists for 47 years I have experience and knowledge. The salon use the best products out there and disinfect their equipment. I'm very critical and clean and expect the same respect . Classic Nails cares about their customers. High recommendations ...... I would rather pay more and get the best. I really wanted to love this place but after a week and my second nail gel nail polish peeling off, I have to say I won't be returning. I had a penny saver coupon for $25 pedi and mani and needed a little me relaxation time. I give them a three star for their customer service and pedicure massage chairs. I had one lady do my toes and they turned out beautiful but it was regular polish and still remains to look great. Michael did my nails and he was super nice and friendly, but the workmanship just wasn't as good as my normal spot. Also if my gel nail polish doesn't last at least a couple weeks, then they must not be doing something right as I've had it last for a while month without peeling at my normal spot. This has only lasted me less than a week for the first nail to chip and peel off. A week exactly and the second nail has peeled from the BACK side! Not even the most used, banged up or traffic area part of the nail. The most action my hands even see is a keyboard in an office and a gym floor a few times a week. Not enough to do that much damage to the polish in such a short amount of time. :/ read more

I want to give a 4, but I can't due to the 2 week recovery from my eyebrow waxing, they were fine, just caused a HUGE break out... She had just said to me, "You have no pimples".... and BOOM.... TMI.... I know..... The pedicure was actually very pleasant and when she sold me on the "Deluxe" Pedi. I was pleasantly surprised she was upfront about her prices, $36! The Hot stone foot massage was magic, the wax on my feet was painful, but I loved it and my paint job lasted pretty well. I am hard on my feet, so considering I was impressed with the Pedi. The customer service was great and I will go back. I think I may have found my nail spot and out of all of the places I have experiences in Sac, this is the Best One..... I really like this place! I am pretty picky about my nails so I'm always a little apprehensive about trying out new places or people. This place is fairly new and currently still has all of their services at a 10% discount! They can get busy at certain times of the day (4-6:00, for example), but I usually go between 10 and 12 and there isn't a wait at all. I have been going to this nail shop for about 4 years now, on and off. I DO NOT plan on ever returning. Here is why: 1. They don't use plastic wraps in the foot spas. I literally watched someone hop out of the foot spa, they ran some hot water in it to rinse it off, and someone else hopped in. Ewww, gross. A friend of mines got a rash around her ankle a few months ago and that was the end of my pedicures from here. 2. I was sitting there and she was doing a great job and then someone else comes in. There are literally 3 other nail techs that can do her nails but since she wanted the lady doing mines, she said I'll wait. The nail tech RUSHED the rest of my fill in order to serve her in 10 minutes. NO TIP FOR YOU! 3. Those hot towels they put on your hands and legs after a manicure/pedicure, they don't even wash them! I watched one of the nail techs run the used dirty towels under hot water and pour fabric softener on them, squeezed out the water and threw it into the other sink. They are very unsanitary and I will NOT be returning. read more

First thing's first. There are at least two Classic Nail Salons that I know of. One is in Natomas Crossing and the other is off of El Camino Avenue. I've been to both. I went to the Natomas salon for eyelash extension and received really good service. But I get primped and prissed at the El Camino Salon and have never had a bad experience. Everyone there does really good nails. I haven't seen a teenage boy in there...but I do know about the snooty owner. She seems like a total beeotch. I once saw her come into the shop and head to the back of the salon and it seemed that one by one each manicurist whipped out their earnings and marched to the back to give her the house's cut. It was weird. Other than that Soprano-esque episode, the service was great. I've had everything done there but the permanent makeup and that's because the cost associated. Never M., I'm sorry that Classic Nails grossed you out. That sux. Wish I could refer you someplace else...us girls have to stick together when it comes to mannies and peddies. I cannot go without Judy for my pedicures. Her detail, her technique with the hot stones -shes amazing. I usually spend a little more to get the hot stone pedicure but it's so worth it. I can actually feel the blood circulation tingle in my finger tips because of how great those stones work. Also, idk what it is about Judy but her polish jobs seems to last a lot longer so that it still looks good even when it's grown out! 5 stars for Judy cuz I love her work! read more

Extremely clean and modern salon, nice lighting, and great chairs. But I was unhappy with my service overall. The #2 pedi was overpriced, super short footrub and incomplete callous removal. My technician Judy colored outside the lines with the red polish and well inside the lines with the topcoat, making the finish appear uneven. She was not very friendly (a bit snippy and complaining even) when I asked her to slow down and apply more carefully. My mani was done by I believe one of the owners, she was very nice but also not good with the polish, I had to go home and clean chunks off my cuticles. Now granted I am particular but I expect to get what I pay for, especially at their prices, which are higher than average. I won't be going back. read more

I went here about 2weeks ago , I usually go somewhere else but this was near my house so I gave it a try . I got a pedicure , it was basic nothing special my heel wasnt even that smooth after the lady talked with her co workers most of the time. Second I got a fill on a gel set , it looked good . But 3 days later the polish chipped off on a couple nails. Which i had paid 15$ extra for gel polish so this wouldnt happen. Third i got my eye brows waxed they didnt even match . I asked to get eye lash extentons which ive never tried before it took about 30 mins it looked good i loved it . I have had them two weeks but i wanted to remove them i bought some remover tried oil nothing worked. Today went back and asked them to remove them and she warned me that it would BURN to take them off and i should keep them on . I went home used oil and tried myself now i have NO LASHES . If i would have been warned i would have never done this . The service sucked . I will never go back here again, the quality of work was horrible and over priced . read more

I would not give it even a star after today :(. I went in and was yelled at from afar asking what I needed. I was shocked by the greeting, first of all. I also couldn't understand her, but presumed she asked what I needed or something. Then I said I had a Groupon appointment at 4/30 and apologized for being late...from across the room with 20 people staring. I was grunted at again. So confused I just stood there. Then I heard "lady!" Or something and motioned over. The communication was nearly impossible to understand and I sat. She handed me gel/shellac colors and walked away. Words were hardly spoken, but what was said I just couldn't understand so I was just gestured and grunted at. The woman was cooonstantly looking behind me over my shoulder paying no mind to me. She was speaking in her dialect to others and ignoring me while just moving my hands around. The paint job is messy and she kept making mistakes and I have gel polish all around my cuticles. The hand "massage" was lame. Just a horrible manicure. I go to check out and I showed the Groupon and was only THEN, AFTER the manicure, told they don't take Groupons. Yep. I guess they are just a block away from another location I don't think exists. I had already given her a $5 tip (verrrry very very reluctantly) because I wanted to uphold my Groupon respect of tipping. But now I was left with a $27 charge and $1 fee because they ignored what I said in the beginning. My fault for going to the wrong place. Absolutely! Their fault for not being honest and having a terrible customer service experience and bad manicure. I have NEVER posted a complaint on Yelp in my life. This situation was awful. RATS !! I came here once before & was upset about the quality & price it was 25 for a basic full set & I wanted longer so she charged me 5 dollars extra so I did . 30 for nails 30 for feet & both were ugly & they were just rushing through the job . I have bad ingrown toe nails & I would have liked her to get them all out & my feet scrubbed longer . My nails were "long" but to me very short . I think it's because she was annoyed at me & just put prices on everything I asked. I live in Citrus Heights and there several salons in my neighborhood, but I drive past each one of them to go here to get my nails done. And I will continue to come here. Ever since I have been coming here my nails are stronger and healthier. I was the girl that use to go to my neighborhood salon and get my nails done every other week. (which can get costly). I then heard about Classic Nails and figured why not check this place out... So I made an appointment with Helen and she told me about the Gel polish that they use. Well I work in an environment where I'm either lifting , on the computer or opening packages, so my nails get a beating. Let me tell you that ever since I started going to Classic Nails, my nails are stronger and healthier. Which means I only have to go back when my nails grow out! Lesson learned: Money saved! Came here twice to get my eye brows done, she did great the first two times. She waxed, plucked, trimmed, and filled my eye brows perfectly. Then the last time I went, it was a little busy and she literally left the woman who's nails she was doing, just to do my eyebrows. She was in such a hurry, she literally waxed just the bottom half of my eye brows and left. They looked awful and I was very disappointed. Never going back. I started going to this salon since it was across the street from where I work. I was pleasantly surprised and continue to go there at least every 2 weeks for a fill only. Since I started doing the gel tips, I never have a broken nail. Their pedicures do leave something to be desired, though, and are way more expensive than they are worth. They do not do a very good scrub job and hardly give you a foot or leg massage even when you purchase the upgraded and over priced 'Luxury' pedicure. read more

I came here on a Tuesday afternoon before heading to class, and was on a time crunch. I only had an hour to get a shellac manicure ($27) and basic pedicure ($25), and they were able to do both simultaneously in less than 45 minutes! I didn't get the technicians' names but they both did a wonderful job and didn't appear rushed. I'm very particular about my nails and I was completely satisfied. I paid with my debit card and there is a dollar charge to pay with any card. It might have been the time of day, but they were not busy at all and I was able to get in and out quickly. They are also pretty sanitary, although this is an area they can improve in. I prefer salons that have sanitized tools in individual wrapping, which this place did not. Simply stated, this is the worst manicure I have ever received. Paint on skin. Rushed. And my cuticles hurt. I do not recommend.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I went in for a gel manicure waited 45 mins to be helped. One lady sat me down drilled off the polish then left to the other client and left me sitting for another 20 mins, then I was moved to another chair and waited another 5 mins. Then she wrapped my nails in foil and asked what gel color I wanted when I wasn't once presented with the nail colors. So I asked for the swatches. Then was asked two mins later "what color" when clearly I did not have a chance to review with foil on my fingers. So I settled with French because I didn't have time to look for a color. My manicure began and was completely done in 15 minutes. Cuticles have skin and hang nails left on them, MY FRENCH MANICURE LOOKS LIKE COMPLETE SHIT. I have never felt so rushed and expedited these people are so rude and unprofessional, just for them to apologize the entire time telling me they have other people waiting. I will never go back to this place. People don't lie when they say to stick to nail places they like no wonder they only have 3 stars I should've trusted yelp! read more

9 months ago I stopped doing fiber or gel nails, give my nails a break, then I decided I would have them again to feel "pretty." Because I haven't been to my regular salon in almost a year, I thought I would try Classic Nails. My nails looked great for the first 5 days but because they didn't push my cuticle back enough, they started to lift, especially on the edges near the cuticle. After only wearing this new set for 8 days I had to go and get a fill! FYI - I went back to my regular place! Visited this place with my sister and we were both shocked about the lack of customer service. First of all, the lady was complaining about the glitter nail polish she had to take off from my nails before putting on a new coat. She even asked if the next time that I come to their nail salon that I should remove this nail polish beforehand! Excuse me? Isn't that what I'm paying you for? I did not understand her hostile attitude and highly disagree with their prices. I come from San Francisco where I can definitely get a better deal there along with good customer service. Another thing was the two ladies that were doing our nails clearly started to converse about my sister and I. I don't understand how they can possibly run a business like that, so unprofessional. Lastly, as they were doing our nails they were eating at the same time.
