Sold me a radiator and half shroud that he said was appropriate for my Champion radiator them after putting about a 1000 miles on it rubbed it's way in to the fins and caused a leak. I called and they said it's not under warranty because I attached something to the radiator. Even though they sold it to me for it. Go to Champion directly they are much nicer and helpful. read more

I tried the radiator in my support frame. Fit perfect. This place is fantastic. George helped me with the order and then helped me load the radiator into my car. I highly recommend this place. So i will not recommend this company to anyone. I installed one of their three row radiators/ fan kit $599.09 . Ran it about 300 miles total ! developed a leak. Called them and sent them some photos the guy i talked to initially made it sound like an easy transaction for replacement. However the person that called me back wasn't so helpful. Instead of just owning the fact this thing just failed he questioned what i used in the radiator or insisted something in coolant like rust from block could of caused failure. System flushed several time prior to install even water pump was new. not even connected to heater core. So i asked ok what now? He said that i needed to first purchase another radiator then send this one back to them. They would then examine the radiator to see if it failed or something i did caused it to fail. then i could possibly be refunded the cost of replacement radiator. He suggested i flush out the radiator to improve my chances of a refund? I'm not flushing anything I have nothing to hide ! Long story short i ended up with a pair of $600 electric fans had them cancel my order for replacement radiator. I asked how i could leave a testimonial (review on their site) i was told owner picks those of of yelp and posts them? wonder if they will pick mine? Another company that forgot about its customers. This company has really gone down hill since they put in sales manager, George Blackmore. He is crude and rude to customers. If he doesn't like what you say, he will call you names. I do not know about the others, but I do have great concerns about the ownership if this is the way they do things. My experience has to do with a pickup truck radiator. The part I ordered was not what the salesman, Jeff, recommended, so I went along with his recommendation. He said that there was only one thing that needed to be changed with the one he recommended and that was that there needed to be a filler-neck added. Well I figured he knew what my vehicle required since they say they guarantee the correct fitment. So I paid my money. Then came the waiting, Weeks went by but the product never arrived. Even after receiving email notification that the product had shipped, the shipper had no knowledge of it. When pressed, George said it was still at the mod shop. That was only the beginning of the lies. I am further confused about ordering from one company, Ledfoot (sic), and then finding I am getting a product from Champion and/or American Eagle. I believe my review and warning should apply to them as well. In any case, after almost exactly two months, I received a radiator that does not fit the requirements of my vehicle. They refuse to make it right. Now I am out the money for the radiator plus having another shop make the necessary mod. I paid for a premium product and expected premium service. I made a huge mistake. Do not buy from these people. They can just as easily turn on you as on me. read more

I own performance and repairs shop, and have made multiple purchases from ledfoot racing. I had a problem with the wiring harness on the last purchase, I called and spoke with someone to expressed my concerns about the fan harness and temp sensor, all he wanted to offer me was the history of the parts he has, "I've have had those same fan wiring harness and temp sensors since 2014 and never had a problem" so asked him if he wasn't going to do anything for me? he replied "wait wait don't be a dick, i didn't say that" I then asked him if he just called me a dick, he said yes, so i replied don't worry about it, he said ok and hung up the phone, This is absolutely unacceptable! I could never speak to my customers like that, even if they were acting like a dick!! I guess ledfoot racing has enough business that they can treat their repeat or new customers how ever they want. I will never purchase or refer anyone to purchase products from them ever again. apparently they don't need repeat or new business. Ive bought there radiator and a fan previously from LedFoot. Buying the radiators from LedFoot is way cheaper than if you bought them from ChampionCooling. The radiator even came polished already so I didnt have to pay the extra $70 bucks they offered, I also paid for the stainless steel overflow tank and it was so worth. I have to say though. Everything about LedFoots products are great, the quality is there, the equipment works, but installation is a SOB. The plastic zipties that come with the fan that stick through the fins are just lame, my fan bounced a lot when you hit bumps you could hear it. Also the overflow tank doesnt really fit on the radiators holes so I fabricated my own mounts with aluminium angle and flat bar steel for the fan. If you buy there products and want it done right, youre probably gonna need to fab your own mounts for everything. read more

2 projects 2 radiators now I had a 78 f250 with a roached out rad odd size for the truck. Bbf used for towing. O'Reilly had a rad 300 bucks for tin and plastic 2 row. Got a 3 row from ledfoot for the same price much better quality I can trust. Truck got totalled last week and bought one with a bad block. Swapping the motor and rad to the new one. 2nd project 83 amc eagle no aftermarket rads for it except ledfoot. I went from a 258/4.2 to a hi po 4.6 Strocker. Got a 3 row with an overflow canister and electric fan. Solid products again I will not buy a radiator anywhere else stock or performance. read more

Let me be clear when I say this, it takes a LOT for me to write a review. The business either has to be really good, or really bad. But in this case, Ledfoot Racing is EXTREMELY GOOD! I had a radiator clog up in my '68 Mustang in California's triple digit heat which caused my engine to overheat. I live near Fresno, and called up Ledfoot Racing in SoCal which sells champion Radiators. Very knowledgeable staff, based on the 2 gentlemen I talked to on the phone. I told them the engine and transmission setup I have on my car, and within a minute they knew which radiator I needed. The price is very decent, and they price matched a cheaper one online! They took my credit card number over the phone, and shipped the radiator out to me the next morning. I got it in 2 days, and had my car back up and running on the 3rd day. (4th of July, 2019) I took a 90 mile drive in 105° heat, and sat in traffic for 10 minutes a week after the radiator install, and the engine temp gauge didn't even budge. With a thermal temp gun, I verified that my engine was running right at 185°, and the guys I spoke to on the phone assured me it'd run between 180-190°. Spot on! And all I have is the stock Ford 5 blade fan, and no shroud. If you're looking for a radiator for a your classic that sees a lot of high temps, I'm extremely happy with Champion! read more

So I ordered a 3 row radiator specifically brushed aluminum for my 68 Charger build, and the salesman said no problem. I received a polished radiator... Not happy so I called and Jeff tells me "most people would be happy about a polished radiator" guess what? I'm not! So I asked for an exchange and he told me that they don't know what they get from Champion. That they have no control over what finish they have. So just disregard my specific finish and send me what you want is what it boils down to. I had to twist his arm to call and request one. He instead suggested I take a wire brush to it and scuff it up. Then he said look we never know what we get so you can just return it and we part ways. He then says what if I call Champion and they say I'm SOL?? Well you tell me that and we are done but at least try to correct my order guy. Gee thanks for making me force you to take my number and do your job. I'm doing a very specifically build with no polish in the engine bay. The lack of effort to try and solve my simple request is disappointing. read more

Aluminum radiator 3 row + electric fan + shroud + regulator for under $450. Need I say more for you gear heads. I checked Jegs and Summit which charge around $700 for a 2 row radiator. This is for my 1969 camaro. They have a lifetime warranty. read more

Sucks! spend the extra money on a radiator that will last you more then a year. They are great about answering your questions before you buy, but then you buy and have problems and you cant get ahold of anybody. I WOULD NEVER recommend these guys. The problem is that these guys buy these things from china and then double the price and sell it, so the welds are poor. Save yourself a headache and stay away from this junk. read more
