New owners and the place is not the same. My partner got a cheeseburger and the patty was paper thin, mostly lettuce and tomato. I ordered the universal omelet and it was an overcooked, gloppy mess. Cheese on the burger and omelet did not melt, so you know they are using cheap cheese. Food did not taste well, asked for salsa and got ketchup. Even the iced tea I got was gross. Things didn't fair much better in the bathroom. I think when they took this place over they didn't make any improvements to it just the exterior of the building. Broken trash can and cracked floors. Needless to say not the same and won't be coming back. Raise the prices for sub par food is not the way to go. read more

A good alternative to Fabulous Burger. The burgers are fine, sometimes they go overboard on the lettuce though. The fries are always hot. They do commit the cardinal sin when it comes to drinks though, the majority of my large horchata is always ice. Just a fair warning... be prepared to wait no matter what time of day you go. If there are two or more cars in the drive thru, I'll just keep going because it is guaranteed to be a +20 minute wait at that point. Well this establishment not quite like that, but bit similar to typical burger places anywhere. No frills, though they do have a large variety of menu choices; it also has a lot of little tables with chairs compressed together inside to accommodate more people as it does get busy Sunday mornings and a side patio, located in a mini strip mall - parking can be limited at times. The food itself - greasy spoon diner style, so you know what to expect - food cooked on hot grill, is greasy, cheesy and cheap. So with that in mind, I don't expect out of the ordinary. This place lives up to that standard. Prices are actually bit on the cheaper side to average, but not overpriced like it's nearby competitors. You get big portions here, they don't skimp. Breakfast is big and greasy. If you have picky tastes, honestly might not be to your liking. Hubby likes their burgers too, of course he isn't hard to please. I've had their salads, they are big, heavy and filling to where I don't finish, unlike nearby competition (LOL, not really) Steve's Charburgers. Their salads (same price), were a joke. Service: It is about what you expect from a typical burger stand/joint, nothing special or spectacular, just average. Sometimes you might have to repeat yourself, either they have a hard time hearing or possibly understanding, but they do get it though, and that's what honestly counts. It was still hella better than Steve's Charburger on Anza. My only pet peeve is that their website needs to update their prices, they are probably outdated from 5-10 years ago. Also, they do close earlier than others - 9pm. Please extend your hours to 10-11pm on Fridays & Saturdays! People usually get hungry those nights around 9 pm these days. And obviously because of location, no drive thru :( But Postmates, DoorDash & Uber Eats are the apps that pick up & deliver from here, so that's always another option. read more

This place has always been a family favorite but lately the change in staff has had terrible customer service. For breakfast this morning I waited in line for my food for 40 minutes. Not once did someone come to the window to say "hi your order will be out shortly" instead the young lady with the head set was eating hot Funyuns and talking to her co workers. Like I said it's always been a family favorite so my husband came back same day at night to order a late dinner it was only 9 pm not sure who was working but the lady was extremely rude. Rushing him to order and telling him to hurry up because there was a car behind him and that they were closing. It was only 9 pm and they close at 10 pm. She could have told him that they were no longer taking orders if she was going to be rushing the customer and giving attitude. read more

I order a chicken quesadilla with a side of guacamole and sour cream. The guacamole was old and had tangy taste. The sour cream didn't taste fresh. They charge me two times for the same order on my card. I went back and they handle the issue. I order chili cheese fries, and there was no chili just meat and cheese, it was so dry. My husband and I were confused about what to grab. We were going down Marine and remembered this place was here. A few must haves are the chili, pastrami and anything with their housemade ranch or thousand island dressings. Then, the customer service from AMY is ridiculously awesome! We've gone to so many so called restaurants and fine dining restaurants, and sadly their customer service was a zero compared to AMY. I could name a few whose staff could use her customer service skills. Parkers Lighthouse, Queensview, El Torito at the Redondo pier...others I am drawing a blank on. The evening staff is downright hostile. They lie to your face about you, and claim that they will call law inforcement. I am disabled and they blocked access to the restroom after I finished my meal. I have been threatened with physical violence from their staff, to the point where they have said, "we know where you live". The breakfast shift has always been great, too bad the evening shift screws it up. read more

Been frequenting this place every week for many years now and oh how this establishment has gone to s***. The new mgmt has decided to remove items from the menu and raise prices All across the board. Now, raising prices is okay if your food reflects the adjustment, but the amount of food and the quality had dropped and prices have risen. Save your money and hit up Steve's burgers. read more

The tale of two places. Before they changed their name to classics on Crenshaw, it used to be my favorite fast food joint. For some reason the past year the service has been terrible. I've been there five times every time they have gotten the order wrong. When you have a history with some places to try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but not anymore. The WORST place I've ever been to. Their customer service is unbelievably rude. They gave us our order wrong and when we asked for ranch they laughed in our faces and said "it's already in the bag" and they continued to laugh. I ordered a breakfast combo at the drive thru. I noticed a bag that was sitting on the counter as I pulled up. After 10 minutes of waiting, they give me the bag that was sitting there the whole time. I told the girl at the drive thru that the bag was there since I pulled up to the window. She then says "Oh I'm sorry" with a sassy attitude. My sister and I came over at 7pm, because google said they closed at 9pm. The lady who took my order (red hair, i forgot to get her name :( ) was super super sweet. we ordered quite a bit and she let us know they closed the dining area in 30 minutes, so she would pack it up for to go. we were okay with that and ordered. the food came out quite quickly, and she brought it over without bags. i mentioned we could take it to go and she refused lol. she wanted us to enjoy in house and let us know she would lock the doors so it would just be us as the last customers in store so we could enjoy. we still tried to leave by 7:30 to allow them time to clean so they'd be out on time. i asked about their times on google and she mentioned dining closes at 7:30 but drive through remains open. working customer service i completely understood the struggle lol. the tacos were absolutely delicious and packed with meat!!! chicken strips and chili cheese fries were also yummy. we got refills before we left and she was kind enough to give us larger drinks for free! i was so touched. she thanked us for our patience and kindness, which felt was the complete opposite because SHE was very patient and kind.
