I've visited this establishment a few times only via drive thru and I've liked the quality to price ratio enough to visit often! Quick service, decent food for price, and right down the street!

$13.59 + tax? Not worth it. 12/14/24

Done with this place! I paid $13.50 + tax for the Corned beef hash & eggs breakfast. I open the box and the amount of Corned beef in the box for the amount of money I paid was disappointing. Pay more, get less? No, thank you!

ordered a patty melt with onion rings the onion rings were very unseasoned and the patty melt made my stomach hurt only made it through half the sandwich

Jeez, I can't believe I've been sleeping on this place for so long!!…read more CM Chicken is a solid Korean fried chicken spot along Western Ave. with a decent amount of parking. Upon walking in, you'll find a relatively open space with tons of seating. Jade did his thing with his customer service. Other than myself, he had 2 additional tables with other solo diners, and a large party occupying a long table in to watch the World Cup. After being seated, he gave a quick and thorough run through of the menu. He also put me onto the lunch special. For $12.99 you can get 5 juicy wings with a flavor of your choice, a roll, coleslaw, your choice of regular or waffle fries, and a soda. At face value, it doesn't sound like a lot of food - but the wings are a good size and the serving size for fries is mad generous. The chicken had a crunchy exterior and was super juicy & tender on the inside. I got the waffle fries cause Jade mentioned they crisp'd up better, which ended up being a spot on recommendation. I''m looking forward to my future visits so I can try the spicier flavors.

CM Chicken never disappoints me. This is my go-to comfort Korean fried chicken spot. My favorite is…read moretheir wings with snow onion it's so good and always hits the spot. The service is pretty good, they have lots of seating, and the vibes are nice whether you're dining in or taking it to go. Honestly, it doesn't matter how I eat it because I just love this place.

Plenty of parking on the plaza…read more Came on a weekday night during Happy Hour. Place was packed. Ambiance was nice. Music was extremely loud, had to yell to have a conversation. Waiters kept checking on us. Got the mild Buffalo Wings for $14 and Parmesan Fries for $6. The wings were good. The Parmesan Fries were really good, they didn't skimped on the Parmesan. Both dishes were small and came with ranch sauce. Got place to watch the games with friends. Not the place to have a conversation. Happy Hour was Monday to Friday from 4pm to 7pm and 10pm to closing at midnight. Karaoke night was Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10pm to closing at midnight.

I had business in the same shopping center and decided to drop in for lunch…read more Torrance Tavern is restaurant bar located in a shopping center. Needless to say, there is plenty of parking. The interior is neat and clean. There are various types of seating (bar; table; booth; high-tops; communal), and plenty of screens to watch sports. On this occasion, I ordered the Tavern Fish & Chips ($22). It is described as "Alaskan cod coated in a tempura beer batter and served with French fries, tartar sauce and yuzu herb coleslaw". The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.

I've driven by this place 1000 times and never went in. Until today. Yes, the outside looks old…read more The interior decor is... interesting. So what? How's the food? Amazing. And reasonably priced. Very. Especially the prime rib and the sourdough bread. Steak fries are tops, too. I no longer need to travel far to find a great, reasonably priced medium-rare prime rib. This is the place. Great service, too. But it's not huge and it can get busy; that tells you how good it is.

I've been going to the San Franciscan for the past six years, and it's still one of my favorite…read morespots for prime rib. When I first started coming here, the smallest cut was only $25, which felt like an incredible deal. Prices have gone up over the years, and it's now $37 for the smallest cut, but even with the increase, it's a place I continue to return to because the quality and experience have remained consistently good. I always order the prime rib medium rare with the soup and French fries. The prime rib is consistently delicious, flavorful, and tender, with a rich beefy flavor that really hits the spot. It's cooked just the way I like it, and every visit reminds me why I've been coming back for so many years. The portions are generous, and the meal is satisfying from start to finish. One of the things I appreciate most about this restaurant is its classic atmosphere. The interior feels like a step back in time, with an old-school charm that is becoming harder to find these days. It has the feel of a traditional steakhouse from the 1960s, and the nostalgic vibe adds a lot to the overall dining experience. It's the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy a good meal, and appreciate a piece of local history. There is a parking lot available, which is definitely a plus, although it can be surprisingly easy to miss if you're visiting for the first time. Just keep an eye out as you're approaching the restaurant. While I miss the days when the prime rib was only $25, I understand that prices have gone up everywhere. The fact that I've continued coming here for six years says a lot about how much I enjoy the food and atmosphere. If you've never been and you're a fan of prime rib, this is a spot that's well worth checking out at least once. Chances are you'll find yourself planning a return
